- More variety of motive power on this months Video, with a Class 40 on a Special to Great Yarmouth attracting many enthusiast who remember the regular Saturday workings in the 1980's. Thanks to those who have helped with Clips of the trains I was unable to Capture.

There is no wonder buddleia grows all along the railway with that Heck creating a whirlwind every time it passes spreading the seeds about and it really should carry a warning sticker for cameramen that tend to get close to it.😀 Nice seeing the Duchess working a bit hard and that class 40 which was immaculately turned out.

Sad to see that the old white painted shelter on platform 2 is no more, many memories of spotting from there in the seventies. Having said that, the replacement looks good with the advantage of having a clear sight of what's coming.

At last reality is recreating what Jouef was doing in the late 1970s - a Class 40 hauling Mk3 coaches.
I just missed 6233 I just looked down agbthe wrong moment to do the crossword whilst heading for Hitchin when it passed me going North with a 47 at the end of the coaches. I was more lucky with 37610 I saw it and the train at Cambridge 2 days ago.
