Probably the best video I have viewed for no nonsense, straightforward descriptions delivered in a professional manner! Well done and thank you for taking the time to producing it. 👍
At last, a very useful practical guide for the average driver switching from a petrol/diesel car to the ID3! Up to now, I've wasted a lot of time looking at videos made by car-crazy techies showing off about how much they know on the small and trivial details.
thank you for this video. Just taken delivery of my ID3 and have been bamboozled by the controls. Understand it much better now, thank you for being so clear and concise with no silly camera shots or music.
Thanks, good video. The ID3 gets some abuse from journalists for the screen and menus, and it's true that it's not very intuitive... But once you've owned the car for a few weeks you get used to it and it's really quite good.
Best review I've seen of this car. I get it in March as a company car having never driven it so to see how to actually operate everything is extremely handy and something most reviewers don't ever do
dont know if anyone cares but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks =)
I would rather have petrol and charge as this model you have to wait till it is charged once the battery runs down then the petrol takes over and charges half and half 👍❤
What about the inability to correctly program recharging during off-peak electricity hours ? Does not function properly and , in reading the various forums, seems to be a problem for everybody. I need charging weekdays from 2am. - 7H50 am, and all-day Saturdays and Sundays !
I hate the light settings. I have owned lots of Golfs and never used the auto lights especially if the car has daytime running lights like the ID3 has. I like to have full control over all the car's functions.
@@DriveGreen hard plastics on the interior very cheap materials and rear drum brakes... without hood lifter... yes it is not important for me but the price is for car with hood lifters rear disc brakes and high quality interior with soft material
@@GoranDIY but there is no advantage for disk breaks now, so it makes sense to use drum due to them bringing the cost of the car down. 100% agree on the hard plastic though
The ID3 has so many quality features. The intelligent adaptive cruise control is an amazing feature for a car costing less than £30k. The minimalist interior makes the car feel bright modern and airy: I can forgive VW the hard plastic door panels . I thought too I would miss the traditional button controls but once you get used to the touchscreen controls it just seems so intuitive
@@DriveGreen Agreed. Nothing budget feeling about this car (with exception of the stickers behind the rear passenger windows), unless you've just stepped out of a Bentley 😄
@@NedNew i looked at new Peugeot, 308 it was much nicer that the golf, and it had buttons, and the information screen low down, and the virtual cot pit much better car and you can have diesel petrol hybrid or electric
Obviously no one has driven 23 plate ID3 it's a complete nightmare. I've driven as professional driver for years. First electric car. This could put anyone off. You need to stop do change anything. Voice commands dont work. Navigation is lost. Why did I buy because any distance driving I'd hirer a petrol car.

Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave your kind words!

Best video for the id3 I’ve seen, lots of info without wasting anytime and showing things people might actually want to see !!
Brilliant, what a lovely fella. We are picking our new id3 up on Saturday and this was a great intro to what we can expect. Thank you
Fantastic video - the perfect mix of usefulness without being too long or boring. Thankyou so much for producing!

a friend of mine has just been given one of these as a company car, and we are both shocked on how cheap the interior is,
looks like a vw up!
A masterclass in how to learn about using a car. Superb. Thank you
This is the easiest and best video thank you! Very helpful 👍🏻

Very happy to hear this, thanks for watching and commenting!
A very thorough demonstration. Thankyou 😊
i just love my ID3
performance life version
Great to hear and thanks for watching 🙂

@Cristian Spencer Yup, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :)
Perfect video. Thank you
What a great video??? More dealerships need to do videos like this, even if they are summary type of say, 3 mins.
Nice work 👍🏾
I received in Lisbon my ID3 1st in October but your insights were still useful (especially the heat timer and the ambient lighting). Good review.
Thank you for watching and your kind words 🙂
Excellent video man... wish I have seen it before..
Great video. Really helpful. Thank you.
Very informative thanks 😇
Thank you sir, its very useful, bless you.
Awesome video! And also, what a complicated car!!
Liked and subscribed! Thanks
Thank you 🙏

Is there any way to keep cruise control at the speed I want, rather than what the car thinks I should be doing?
i;m sold. thanks
I think D mode is better, "rolling" better and safe power
Our team are split between the two modes, both have their advantages for sure 🙂
Can I add a link to this video on my website as I use the same vehicle for driving tuition?
Please feel free, so long as it is the link (or embedded) and not a copy of the video. 🙂

It does seem to be a bit of a bug, even on the 2.1 software. Hopefully a further update isn’t too far off.
They still haven't got this sorted late March 2022! Beyond belief 🙄
thats the rear right
i dont like they never changed the light switches around... in left hand drive its close to the door like any normal car! for the uk its well akward
What lvl car is this please
Plastic fantastic.
thats the rear right wing

That’s fair enough 🙂
I almost had heart attack hearing him say charging port is on left side and having to double check... 🤦♀
Budget car quality like vw up and dacia but the premium price
We will have to agree to disagree on this one. The i3 and i3s do not feel budget at all in our opinion.

looks like a cheap nasty car inside, not a vw
I agree, I think it's another conspiracy against the company. It's probably a Peugeot.

car and you can have diesel petrol hybrid
or electric
I like how trolls who have never been in or seen the car, just write rubbish to protect their own brand, whatever rubbish it is ....
