Few nice items you looked at. When I watch your videos i always say myself, yeh i would have that tankers/ wagons you pick up on my layout. Price on some pretty good
Super video. Glad Bobby found a couple of friends. Nice to see the small layouts, z gauge , n gauge. Liked the layout with lots of different groups and fun to see. What a great day. 🎉
Hi Paul, always a delight to see new and exciting layouts and these ones were a definite treat. It's the third time we have been and it's one of Bobby's faves as it's partially outdoors. All the best Rick
Hi Rick, well it does look like we are outdoors for this one .... Or shood I say the hunt LOL!!! Nice looking wagons and a good $$ too. I want a Flying Scotsman as well :). NICE layout wow!!!!! I sure do like the English Passenger Cars . Layout two is even better:)!!! So much good stuff there how do you make a decision :). Zoo wow. OK OK LOL I like the next layout the best can I have that one please :)!!!!! More layout so nice. Great looking show and a lot there too . O and if you get the chance Rick, I do have a new fun video out. It is a tour of my Beatles room.... Sorry no Stones in this one mate :). All the best to you both and take care:)!!!!
Hi Brad, decisions...decisions lol. You do seem to like English passenger cars. Well I love your cobooses! Your vid sounds cool so I will check it out later. All the best Rick
Nice video all around, but I liked the zoo train (similar to our actual zoo here), and the big Museum of Transport layout. So much coolness to see in that one, especially the docks!
I recently purchased the Lima Strathclyde Transport two car DMU from Ellis Clarke Trains. Runs really well, beautiful set and fits in with my #partickhillstation layout. What was the price for the two cars ? I also have the SPT two car DMU set. Must try to get down to some of those shows next time I get over 👍
A lot to take in again. That seems a lovely place to put a train show on, specially if the weather is nice, that station environment is more than perfect. Than we had Bobby with his white counterpart, Black & White dog, I think it means it's time for a whisky, that was a living ad…🤣 That "Port Ross" display, had quite some humor in it, the eco undertaker, it's the future according to stop oil, I hope they didn't see this, might give them ideas. And Rick, I don't know where you thoughts are, but the old man with the camera on the hill was a train spotter😜 I like Pauline's reaction: Rick "And here we have the naked people again…", Pauline: " right… enough now…", that was so funny🤣 Quitte some nice bargains , yes some old stuff, but still usable on a modern layout. Actually this has come a lot to my thoughts lately (the philosopher in me), over the years there is so much produced, and a lot survived in quite good condition, even with box. You would expect the prices to drop, due to the over offer, but they don't, do they? And yet model companies keep on producing new stuff (wagons) at the prices you could pick up a decent second hand loco for, and yet they still sell like sandwiches in a sandwich bar. So I can only conclude, despite what a lot of people say, you can't really speak of a decline in the hobbies interest. Although I wonder, if the generation (people over 40) passes away (my we all live long and prosper) would there be a complete collapse in the hobby and would you still gain something out of the sales? Cheers, Danny
Hi Danny, yes lots of interesting layouts in a great location. In regards to the hobbies longevity only time will tell. I have to wonder although the new models sell out are they actually being produced in large numbers like the models of old? Thanks for watching Rick
@@wellchuffedrailways I don't think that the new models are produced in that high numbers, that's why a lot of them are working with pre order now, although??? But it's hard to tell how much production is made theses days, companies give less or no information on the subject. But what I do notice is, when a new model, that already was produced in the past, don't matter if it was by an other brand or not, you see a sudden increase in the second hand sales of the older ones. Good example are the Siphon wagons, Accurascale brings them out, and you see an increase in sale of the old Lima and Hornby ones. Ok you can argue that the details are better, but so has the price gone up by 80%. And so often I ask myself, was it really necessary to re do them, while in my view, the development money was better used to bring out wagons that never where made. What's even worse, is when brands are starting competition wars. Like we saw recently with the "Lion" locos and the idiot argument of a gauge to be or not to be there. Nobody was doing the era 1 locos, until Hornby started it with "Rocket". Than they announced to do more era 1 due to the success , unfortunately with not the best historic research, you can blame them for that. But at least you have to give them all the credit to attempt to produce something of era 1, every other producer up until then where pulling up their noises for era 1. So If you have some respect for each other and the modelers, as producer you do something else, could be the same era, but not exact the same a copy with the same mistake loco design. But no, here comes Rapido making the same thing, with the same stupid design mistakes, nothing was gained at all, just a big disappointment, resulting in stupid modelers arguments. If they made the "Titfield Thunderbolt" fantasy wagons for the fans, where they rightfully paid the rights for, that would have been more than enough, without the loco. But who am I to understand that kind of stupidity… Cheers, Danny
@wellchuffedrailways thank you. I think the picture quality looks really clear, as an enthusiastic amateur photographer, I have thought about buying a small video camera for holidays, preserved railway visits, etc.
I dont do much proto typical its my world my railroad i do wat makes me happy its suppose to b a fun hobby sum people take it to far i use to work for BN last thing i wanna do is b proto typical

Hi Harry, we just let him take us along for the ride. Cheers Rick

Hi Charlie, the 2 car set was up for £60. All the best Rick
The grey diesel you saw was in early Railfreight livery before they started adding the red stripe.
Thanks Paul, the 47s are one of my favourite locos and the choice of liveries available could bankrupt a small country! All the best Rick

Think I would have snapped up that Lima orange Irish dmu... el rare!
Rare indeed but I've spent enough recently! Cheers Rick
Not Irish. It's a Strathclyde Transport liveried class 156. But your right though, they are quite rare and a lovely model.
@@SDR702 Ohhhh Strathclyde! I still would've snapped it up lol.
@@hotdogpilot6319 At that price, me too.
Hi. Please can I ask what camera you film your vlogs on? The quality is superb, thanks
Hi Steve we use a DJI osmo action 1. It's ok but struggles in poor light. Cheers Rick
@wellchuffedrailways thank you. I think the picture quality looks really clear, as an enthusiastic amateur photographer, I have thought about buying a small video camera for holidays, preserved railway visits, etc.
@Rick for a minute at the start I thought I was watching a 21 year old super car youtuber. You only need some sped up drone footage now.... 😆
Wkd init bro. 😂😂
