    At the stand you bought from I noticed at the back a Bachman wagon with the word "Nunnery" on it. From the Nunnery Colliery Sheffield. I didn't know that was ever made till I saw your video. So I will have to try and track it down now! Great video guys.

    0:35 Brawa is known for their very detailed models, but they are not easy to handle because of that
    1:04 One from the popular V160 family, it's either a 215, 216, 217 or 218
    1:12 Could be the 1950's Rheingold (which used 1940 built streamlined coaches)
    1:19 The 'Glaserne Zug' panorama railcar that was built for tourist traffic in Bavaria. Some come with pre-fitted passengers
    1:52 1 1/2 decker bus from the EVAG in Essen. Search for 'O317 evag' for videos of the preserved one
    2:46 Orient express by Lemke/Hobbytrain, the full rake is 5 cars. Sold out on the continent
    3:15 The tender on a Ty2/Ty3/Br52 is close to the cabin to keep the cold out. These have fully enclosed cabs, and a rubber seal around the opening for shovelling the coal
    48:54 Telltale Fleischmann couplers on that

    Great variety and good stalls,that green diesel with the recessed panel was a class 26 not a 25 😊,the traders must be grateful for your custom as it’s shown on here I think it was rocket railways I knew thought you and I brought that kit built lion diesel,nice 😂😂
    All the best
    Mark 😊😊

      Hi Mark, good show wasn't it and the variety was great. The traders are very accepting and the feedback is good as they get ignored on some videos. That's a shame as they contribute a lot to the shows both financially and in footfall. Thanks for the info on the 25-26! They all look the same anyway according to Pauline and these were not even blue! All the best Rick

    Hello R & P! Another grand tour of a show. I would have spent half the show at your first table. BRAWA are amazingly detailed and well-running trains, but also somewhat touchy to touch because of the fine detailing. Still, good value for money imho. The Polish layouts and the Schicht models were great. Never heard of them, being East German and more Warsaw Pact based stuff, so I have not encountered them. I really liked the Halifax King's Cross layout, as well as the Royal Scot coaches you found. The Woodhead was also a great one, for no other reason that a great portrayal of a good-sized hill and running area which one can only pull off in N-Scale. Just a great show all around!

    • @wellchuffedrailways
      @wellchuffedrailways  Год назад

      Hi Anthony, I fear we might go HO continental if we spend anymore time looking at the models on the Mount Tabor stand. The real wood head is not far from our home and we will have to do a video of the route now the weather has turned. Fyi the track was taken up in 1981. All the best Rick.

    I have 6 Schicht coaches from the 1970s on my digital Märklin layout. Schicht used real glass in most of the passenger coaches and it is amazing how much better that looked as a result. The interiors had factory fitted lighting, they were ahead of their time. The glass added more weight and the quality of the modelling was excellent.

    • @wellchuffedrailways
      @wellchuffedrailways  Год назад +1

      Hi Kimball, very nice coaches and interesting that they have real glass windows. I will have to keep an eye out for some in the future. All the best Rick

    Wow, sounds were great, not too noisy and quite realistic. Some great bargains and most of the N gauge ones appeared to be continental, and not too bad prices. The layouts were great and a few I have seen before. What a great show. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Keep up the great work. Thanks 😊

    Brilliant and lovely video😂😂😂😂. I love all the ho gauge items at Mount Tabor Models and of course the polish layout. As far as Continental ho is concerned, I believe most people, tend to say Brawa, Marklin, Roco, Trix are main suppliers and the most expensive, apart from the special limited suppliers.
    By the way Marklin is three rail and the other suppliers make a smaller number of items to run on the track.

      Hi Harry, we love looking at the stock at Mount Tabor Models, we haven't a clue what a lot of the models are and that is what makes it so fascinating. Thanks for the info and all the best Rick

    Hi Rick & Pauline, interesting video again…
    Quite some new layouts as well, so to see, not really my cup of tea, most are to modern era's for me, but always you see some interesting new layout ideas, so still worth while to look at them.
    Interesting to see, you're interested in the continental stuff, I'm getting rid of mine, focusing completely on the end 19th century UK stuff, hard to let go though.
    I think that in every railway from whole over the world you'll find these exotic strange prototype trains that gives you the wow factor, and as train enthusiast it's sometimes difficult to resist the temptation, I've also been there before😅.
    Does the vendor who sells the green houses have a website, he seems to have lovely detailed scenery, interested to see what he has to sell?
    My favorite bargain buy we saw, was the old Tryang GWR cattle van😍…
    Anyway, thanks for the very entertaining video again👍…
    Cheers, Danny

      Hi Danny, the address for the greenhouses- northwesternmodels.co.uk. It's always interesting to see models we have little knowledge of and talking of 19th century trains we filmed a video at a heritage railway and rode in some carriages from the 1870s. Thanks for watching Rick

    A great show this year that was noticeably larger with the two additional rooms open. Particular favourites for me were Boomerang Lane with the National Power class 59s (the working DCC sound locos were from Dapol whilst those being shunted were the older Lima tooling with the engines removed), Back-ut Shed with his scratch built class 69s and the club's own N gauge castle layout in the cafe area complete with working drawbridge. Great to meet up with more new modellers as well as meeting up with people we'd met before like the couple at DEMU and the diorama 'Hawksworth' with those fluffy sheep!

    Is this an expensive hobby to get into??

    • @wellchuffedrailways
      @wellchuffedrailways  Год назад

      It's as expensive as you want it to be. Buying used will save a lot of money on locos and rolling stock etc. There's a lot of help and advice available online with regards to money saving tips for trackwork and scenery etc. It's as expensive as you want it to be as it can be quite addictive in the long run. New locos can be very expensive but thankfully there is no shortage of models available second hand. All the best Rick
