Hi mate how’s it going? This show is absolutely incredible. I have definitely done some big shows in the past, but this would look like in a Normas train show. I really enjoyed it. Definitely thanks for showing some of the buses and corgis plus you know I love passenger cars in the shut up bunch of those two loved it. The whole video was fantastic. Thanks for showing and have a great week my friend take care. ✌️👍‼️
That looks a good fair, nice to see the 3 rail bargains which i always look for. Hope to see you at the Nmdrm Open Day in New Mills Parrish Hall on 14th October . Thanks again. 😊
My mind BOGGLES seeing that just the sheer scale of so many trains in one place. And why we still have an older generation that’s not getting on board with the whole Ebay and everything else I bet you you would find some absolute treasures. I have a few things on my list. I’m trying to chase down, but I’ll never get access to something like this truly awe inspiring and I’m sure, there are just about several of these every single weekend somewhere in your wonderful country. For me there is only one specific thing I am chasing and I bet you you even spotted one there on the day well, I guess it’s back to just scouring the Internet and hoping that an eBay search may turn up great content and keep little Miss magpie happy
Hi, a lot of the sellers use eBay but yes a surprising amount do not as it can be a lot of hassle. We have quite a few of these locally although not as many as in the past. They are also popular with Star Wars collectors, Lego and others. Hope you find what you are looking for. Thanks for watching Rick
@@wellchuffedrailways probably won’t but he is hoping well that’s the thing and I try and diversify the channel 1 minute. We’re talking about care Bears the next minute it’s matchbox hot wheels, Lego trains and everything else and including the airport they’re all good.
Super show, loads of bargains. I wish I could get to the bargains. Unfortunately, old, poor and tired, unlike most of the bargains in your video. Thanks for a great Sunday viewing. 🎉
Hi Guys great video. MOS wagon which I assume to be Ministry of Supply and therefore a wartime wagon? Also it was really nice to meet you both in person at last and thank you for taking the time to have a chat 👍 Thanks for sharing Andy
Thanks for another great video, good to see the Turbo car working. I used to have some of the Battlespace series as a kid, sadly gone but now going round toy fairs picking them up . Managed to get the Q car very rare only 3 to 5 thousand made.
Another great walkthrough of a show, you two! There were so many cool things to see and hear about. I tell you what- I would have popped for that Silver Fox set you showed at the start, if someone convinced me it was a good price. Now, am I the only one that sees the Thomas #1 looking just like the Max the Blue Meanie #1 (check them out). Max is not the Chief Blue Meanie, but he wears #1, and it looks just like the Thomas #1... and the same colors, including the blue. Uh-oh.
Hi Anthony, a Silver Fox is definitely a set I would like to pick up at some point but I did buy the two locos I detailed in the video, there goes my budget! It would not surprise me if Thomas is related to the #1 Blue Meanie! Thanks for watching Rick
Just back from Callander toy fair , one of the few up here in Scotland . Prices are horrendous £20 for a Mainline mk1 , £9 each for LNER celestories that you showed in this video . Wish we had Anoraks Anonymous up here ! MOS . Ministry of Supply . I think it was a wartime livery
The dark (Prussian) blue coaches were a footplate models commission of Dapol for 3 types of Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway. Dapol used their LMS suburban coaches for this. I would have snapped them up in the blink of an eye Rick.
That is defiantly a fair where you go to with a limited budget and no credit cart.🤣 The wow things I saw, were a lot, I almost dare not to look…🤭. I've just returned home from a small model train fair here in Belgium, mostly continental stuff, but fun to look at, just a nice Sunday out with a fellow collector and old college. But to my surprise there was one vendor, I think he must have about over 100 complete sets in pristine boxes, all in super good condition, of Hornby Dublo end 50's early 60's, all British rolling stock. Most of it tin toy 3 rail also some two rail. Looked as he was selling someones stock, who past away. Feld a bit sorry for the guy, this stuff doesn't sell here, I think some UK collectors would have gone wild, €20 per box, I think that's a steal in that condition for the fans of this old Hornby Duplo. Unfortunately not the UK stuff I'm after. I came home with two horse drawn carts, like this person in the video wanted to offer you, there perfect for my Edwardian high street… Anyway thanks again for this great video, alway fun to look at the odd stuff you find… Cheers, Danny
Hi Danny, a strict budget helps and knowing that most things will become available at some point. The mega rare stuff is obviously the exception but that's out of my budget anyway. Interesting that the Dublo models are cheap on the continent. Thanks for watching Rick
Hi Pauline and Rick, when I was younger I had a 0-4-0 Connie tank engine , with the stick on Connie name boards! It was the fastest loco I ever owned. Also the blue electra, at the show! How’s the wagons coming along?
M.O.S stands for ministry of suply , they are private tankers that would have been glass lined as they carried acid for the production of explosives the main depot was at the bishopton ordanance factory ,, they are now royal ordanance factories there was a big one in chorley now developed into a small town

That's a bit far for us to go unless we are in the area. If you have some info I will share it in the group. Thanks for watching and all the best Rick

Not bad models if you get a good one. I picked one up a few years ago and it runs very well. Thanks for watching Rick

Hi Andy, thanks for the info I had no idea they were a special commission. All the best Rick

M.O.S i believe is Ministry of supply so i presume its war time, Great video Rick and Pauline all the best take care.
Thanks for the info, all the best Rick

Cheers Shakey
M O S could mean ministry of supply which i tink was a wartime govenrment department.
Only 4 A4s were in Silver Livery for LNER
MOS is Ministry of Supply ?
MOS = Ministry of Supply from WW2
Who was the trader selling the dark blue coaches?
I'm not sure I'd have to watch the vid again, not all traders have info for us but I will get back to you.
MOS stands for Ministry Of Supply
m o s is ministry of supply rick
Dont see any Bargains there seems like many over priced used items
It pays to check out all the stalls. Cheers Rick
