Why didn't you show the Ignition wire installation? That's what everyone wants to know about. Anybody can attach a wire to a positive and negative post.
Preach my guy!!! The ignition wire install is the only reason I clicked this video
Same here
Have you giys figured that part out plz let me know
Add a link fuse to an assesorry fuse easy
@@danielrubio1559 use a test light to find a hot wire when ignition comes on. I used my running lights wire. tapped right in.
How you doing to call this an install video when you show the actual install in 5 seconds.
It’s not a bad product, but if you’re riding on anything with semi-loud pipes you cannot hear the music at all. I added an amp along with two 4 1/2 inch JBL speakers and it does ok. But the bar itself will simply not get it done unless you’re stopped with the bike idling.
Wish you didn't speed through the wiring part. The positive and negative are easy enough. Not sure what to do with the ignition wire though.
Lol right. Im suppose to install this on my buddies sport glide and the only thing i need is some indication of where the ignition wire needs to be hooked up. Under the battery. 🤔
Did you figure this one out?
Same issue. No idea how to hook it up to ignition switch
Same here...
So if wiring 2 positive doesn't work then its your fuse... 7.5A
I installed on a 2014 Road King the ignition wire I used was the grouping of wires going into the rear fender peel the casing back a little and t-tap the red/white wire going to rear lights. Now it is capable of turning on and off with ignition and there will be no battery drain when bike is turned off.
did you remove the tank or just fish the wire though and where does the disconnect end up being?
I removed the tank and ran the cable down the spine. It also made it easier to find a hot wire
@@anagingrebel6229 I also removed the tank but when I had a new tire put on while it was there I had them wire it with the accessory kit
Do you have to take gas tank off, or can you just route inbetween with the center piece off?
I think you overstated things, it is unlikely you will hear classical music with any real quality unless stopped at traffic lights. On the highway without a screen, unless it's AC/DC playing you probably won't hear the music too well.
I agree. I had a '17 Street Glide with Harley's Boom setup, and at 75 watts per channel (front speakers only) at 70 I had to turn the volume all the way up. Just not enough volume, even with dealer flashing the setup to the ECM.
Awesome video .. i have VANS and HINES longshot or bigshot long, not sure which but they are damn loud :), so would this work for me? i have a softail heritage classic 2004 model, and a standard stock windshield. i was thinking of removing the windshield, but my friends said with vans and hines you wont benefit from the sound, so keep the windshield. what do you think?
you said you can hook another speaker up any suggestions on which speaker? I already have the system but the sound quality goes down a lot when you turn it up. Thanks
Dump the word "install" from your review
what kind of exhaust on your bike? how loud?
So where does the orange wire go on an 04 Roadking?
Plz let me know
@@danielrubio1559 orange wire is the current to the tail light. Splice into it so your stereo will turn on with ignition only. Amazon has some connectors that you twist onto the wire that work reall well.
Compared to the other install videos I've seen you all do, this was actually a little disappointing. Not sure why you didn't show the actually install step by step. Sure you talked about it in the overview but the time lapse was more cinematic vs. helpful.
The install is a bit different on each model. The steps are the same Mount speaker, route wires, hook up wires to the battery and switched power. If you have a question about a specific model i'll try to assist you the best i can.
Cruiser Customizing Video Thank you. I'll let you know!
I just bought one of these, I have hot and negative hooked up, I'm not entirely sure where the switched power is, I can't get power to the speaker without the switch cable it seems, can you maybe take a pick of the wire i'm supposed to t-tap into, or how to identify the wire
yeah exactly why have "install" in your title but not show it haha
Seriously...That was the most useless vid I have ever seen...No help what so ever...Title should have been "Review and Install Montage"!
hello anybody can show me how to hook up the wire for kurakyan soundbar 2719 it has 2 red wire 1 red wire is with a fuse and the the other red no fuse and black
whre is the inigtion cables goes to?
Can you why on outside speakers and amplifier to this system at what are the two output holes on the side for?
How does it sound with really loud pipes? On 1 of my bike I have Vance and Hines true duals?
Can you or anyone please tell me if I should use the 7.5 amp fuse it came with or the 2 amp fuse? The kit came with two fuses but I don't know which to utilize.
Design a six inch speaker for handle bars with built in amps security and use a quality amp in each speaker make the speaker case aluminum and include Bluetooth simple.
Free plug for Pantera. Make sure their label doesn't see this and your video gets pulled! :D
Yeah, we had a few more tunes that didn't make the cut. Dang copyright laws.
Hi. Does the USB on it charges the phone?
I just ordered a black one...I'm sold, get it Friday
Sweet! Please let everyone know what you think after the install.
Sounds awesome, install took about an hr. or so. Linked up to my Motorola Droid Turbo ll no problem. Mounted it on a 2005 Road King classic.
It's been great for the last 2 yrs, but the power button died now, so I ordered a new one, silver this time. But other than that, it's been great. I like the fact that the speakers don't shut off head plugging into the headphone jack. I have the headphone jack running to a 4 ch. 400 watt amp powering four additional speakers, and also a 150 watt 8 inch subwoofer. My tunes on my 2005 HD Road king sounds absolutely amazing.
Will that speaker fix a scooter 700 myroad
Can I run two speakers and an amp and how big should it be or how powerful
So, no install instructions?
Gents--My ignition switch doesn't turn on my speaker...'08 Dyna Streetbob mounted perfectly no problems. Only gripe is I have to hit power button to turn on and off. Any ideas??? Other than that I love the addition.
Each time the key is turned off you will need to press the power button. The only solution is a direct connection to the battery which may drain the battery over time. It may be possible to install a switch for longer storage periods to avoid draining the battery. I would test this at home so you can recharge the battery if it draws too much power for the direct connection. Please note this could shorten the life of your battery.
I found that I don't even turn it off on the sound bar itself, but with my bike. I just fire up the blue tooth on the phone, get a song going, fire up the bike, sound bar comes on and it automatically links to my phone.
Pretty cool.
what did you do about the ignition switch cable?
Respect the pantera
Wood like a video how to hook it up to ebike 48 v AH20 thanks
Panteraaaaaa👍🏾
My bike is loud as hell.. I'd have to buy like 4 of them bitches and build a force field around me to hear. His bike sounds like it has silencers on the muffs!
I have a 2016 prostreet cvo breakout and purchased this. I cannot find anything online to show me the ignition wire. perhaps you could help? thanks in advance.
I really wish we could help, but we don't have a manual with the wiring diagram. Have you tried to contact the Harley dealer to see if they can help identify the correct wire. From previous experience you should have a few options for switched power on your bike pre-wired.
I wound up pulling my fuse box out a little, and tapped off the buss bar, which is a direct link to the ignition switch. I used my bench top multi-meter to make sure my tap point was switched. Luckily the orange wire was long enough. The orange wire is just a current sensing wire, so it doesn't need to be fused.
how about security feature? . seems to easy to steal one off someone's bike ?.... really dig it though.
Honestly it would take a lot of work for a thief to get all the wiring to use it. It has a quick disconnect on the wiring and you can loosen the clamps to remove it but the wiring harness it under the tank and seat.
Is this system loud enough even with after market pipes ?
Yes, the limiting factor will be wind noise. It starts to fade a bit with no shield over 75 mph.
Nope
is it weatherproof
Is it only Bluetooth? Any Aux or USB ports? A USB port would be super handy to keep your device charged on long trips.
You can hook up without bluetooth with the auxiliary input via 3.5 mm cable.
How good can you hear it when you give your bike gas
Just installed on my 2015 Breakout. Don't expect miracles. No windshield. Can't hear music past 45MPH. Back to headphones!
What wire on your Breakout did you use for the wire on the soundbar that ties in when ignition is on?
did you ever identify which wire is ignition wire
Will it mount to some Tbars?
Yes the mounts pivot and swivel so you should have the ability to mount it to most bar types
JBL cruise my MTX was defective out of Box.Way To Go MTX. Harmon/JBL way to go.
Doesn't show how to connect to ignition wire...
If you gotta constantly grab for it to adjust the volume that sucks! I assume no handlebar volume controller.
no place for 2016 Honda Fury
great video
Thanks for watching.
Are you kidding. It's titled as an instal video. No instal info was given. iT'S A JOKE.
Not a very detailed look at an install. What is the problem with everyone that does an install video in this item, there four wires and everyone show pos & neg. where do the other two wires go and why doesn't anyone talk about them and show where they go and what to do to install them.
2 types. 150 watt & 300watt..
WTF So Im watching to see how it was installed and he fast forwards through the install.
For those of you who can't figure out how to install it, let someone with a brain do it for you.
Holly shit you would these people had to wire a house. It’s three wires folks one wire will go to the fuse box that powers with ignition on
Still no good options for fairing less bikes except these tinny sounding under powered junk. I have heard many and all of them are good up until 40 mph but they sound like transistor radios from the 1970s.
Nothing like PanterA on a Motorcycle!!!!!!!!
Damn $400 dollars !
This ain't a fucking install video it's a time lapse review at most
Ridiculous price. Run wires under console not under tank.
Not a install video
ya
This CHINESE unit is all over Ebay cheaply.....and NOBODY likes em.....
If their products are as crap as this video, buyer beware
What a bunch of bullshit. If you want to listen to music, stay home.
This wasn’t helpful at all.
Junk and over priced for what you get.
