Thanks for the review. I've been looking at getting one for my lowrider, aka The Funky Shit.
100% recommended
DISCLAIMER: Anyone who watches this video: It is not as simple as red and black to battery. That will drain your battery as it will always get power. You must tap the orange wire into your running lights wire of Bike (or some other wire of your choice). Blue on newer streetbobs. Purple on most Roadkings. Not sure for others!
I just installed on a 2014 Road King Easy install for novice. Took tank off to run wiring harness (very easy on this model). Found out just wiring pos/Neg to battery won’t work must run 3rd wire with t-tap for proper install. I used rage Red/white wire going into rear fender for taillights. The unit sounds great even at 80mph highway driving. Has loudness and clarity to compete with aftermarket exhaust. I have Rineharts 4” no problem hearing.
Excellent !
you have the speakers from the video? and you can hear great at 80mph with the helmet visor closed?
@@NameTopSecretno…
@@NameTopSecretit sucks but yeah
@@NameTopSecret I'm skeptical.
Beautiful bike, and excellent demonstration. Thanks.
Thank you
Nice video i'm buying one for my heritage classic. Unless I'm wrong, the speaker does turn on without the bike being powered because only the negative and positive cables were connected. If the switch wire was connected then the speaker would only power on when the bike powers on.
Nice bike!!! I think the soundbar is a little overpriced but it does sound pretty good, except at highway speeds.
Yeah I agree
Thanks for the video my guy I also got a Harley 48 thanks for the video I’m thinking I will get the speakers bad
Live your life homie 💯
Just bought it for my Sportster can't wait
Returned it JBL cruise awesome 👌
@@hhhhhh2062 cool, thanks for feedback
@@hhhhhh2062 you prefer the jbl cruise?
@@DanielSanchez-gw8qt
Yes sounds good up to 55,straight pipes on 06 Sportster
May have to make mounts,I have inverted mirrors so had to fab mounts to accommodate location
JBL offered a 2 speaker or 4
Thanks for the review 🤙🏽 stay safe
Thanks bro you as well 👊🏽
that would look nice on my Honda Shadow ACE 1100... I would prefer the sound bar oppose to separate speakers and excess wiring. Thanks so much for the review, gonna look this it!
Absolutely!
thanks for the video, after kinda hearing it while u were riding I'm gonna stick to earbuds.....
lol, get a helmet with the audio system!
i just got one today where did you connect the orange wire
What a bike! I love you
Thanks brotha
Nice I'm ordering one!!! Thanks.
You got it, enjoy!
Nice video bubba that iron lookin clean and i have been thinking about a sound bar for my 48 bt straight pipes de baffle so ive been with earphones😢
Thanks big dawg, ride safe!
Look fantastic. I hope, it's really expensive compare to any good bluetooth speaker of that size.
Great video
Thank you brotha
The highway is where I would want the music to sound good. Not around town annoying the shit outta people. If it's not loud enough at highway speeds, that's a shame
Im with you
Haha ya I was thinking the same thing. Drawing a lot of attention to yourself, with high treble and little bass. Seems pricey too
@@CBGypsy03 the bass isn’t too shabby, it’s solid, keep in mind this is installed on a HD Iron 883 this is a city bike. Yeah, you can hop on the highway with no problem whatsoever but at that point you might go ahead and get a bigger bike with built in speakers. And yes, plenty of attention, I’m sure you love it- you’ll get even more on a bigger bike with bigger speakers
@@WulffPackTV Maybe I'll give it a try :) cheers
If you want to play music in town then do it, who cares what other people think.
Great Sound and Look!
Thanks!
where u atrach orange wire???ordering this for sure .. sounds great bro ...
Had 1 on my Road King, sound was adequate but it failed in less than 2 years & others have said the same. Research it a bit before purchasing.
Agree
I've had mine 4 years, and it's great.
I love it but I would move the odometer to the side. I like to see how fast I’m going lol
How’s the sound on the highway? 80kmh highway cruising
not able to hear well
One thing I didn't like about that kind of speaker setup is you have to reach up tot he unit every time you stop to turn the music down and then back up again when you take off. I don't like it blaring when I'm sitting at the stoplight.
My Boss system has the remote volume control on the left handlebars so I don't have to take my hands off the controls to change the volume and the speakers are plenty loud fo rout on the highway, so no need to spend way too much for this thing.
great job a question what handlebar do you have on your 883?
Drag Bar
I’m considering mounting one of these under the dash of our 1927 Buick so it’s hidden!!
awesome!
You still like the sound bar how is it still wanting one for my Harley too does it have AM FM radio if not it's ok I like Bluetooth streaming off phone
It's a SPEAKER!!!
@@jimbo1959 hey yes thanks 😆 will check it out
Hey mate, whats your long time review? And why not using the much cheaper jbl box
Hate to tell ya man but we could barely hear that thing when you were riding. Might as well just invest in a fairing with a stereo system
Fairing with stereo system would def be nice. Thanks for the feedback.
🐐
🙌🏽
is it waterproof??
Yes
Thanks
Great video bro I want to get one but I have a Vulcan s and man I hope it fits lol
Did you find out if this fits the vulcan?
@@ingeniousmechanic nope it does not fit for my Vulcan s
@@damianpeter80 thanks for the update
What did you ever get? I just got a vulcan 900 classic I’m assuming same size front
@@TheZTkilla no not the same I wish tho lol
You hook the ground to the negative 🤔 Not the frame?
I was thinking mounting boss speakers on the crash bars
but I wonder witch one has better sound this or the boss ?
Not sure
Hi, the usb it's just for charge the phone or you can plug a usb memory with music to listen ? Thanks
You can charge your phone on the usb. Play music via Bluetooth. Not sure about the usb memory, never tried it.
Price?
Depends where you purchase it.
$319 on Amazon / $422 on Revzilla.com / $470 on Kuryakyn.com
Have you heard of PLEX AUDIO? If so what are your thoughts?
Plex audio got some great speakers. Problem is you need a windshield to install them. Both are great brands/high quality speakers.
Can you use it on a regular bicycle???
Not unless your bike has a battery
My Bluetooth isn’t working with mine. Called Kuryakin and they don’t have techs that you can talk to. Just operators for ordering
You ever find a fix to this mines doing the same thing?
That is definitely not good. Where you guys able to handle the issue?
what wire did u splice the orange wire too ??? .. thats my only concern... red black easy ..... i have a ryker so easy to hide the wires ..
Don’t waste your money. Over 50 mph you can’t hear Jack! I took it off after 2000 miles. Very disappointed. Waste of money. Buy a good BT headset instead.
Does it have a quick release ?
@@will-i-amT63 no
Tienes buen gusto musical !!
el que sabe, sabe
Would this speaker fit on a lexmoto LXR 125cc bike I'm not sure because I'm a new rider.
I’m not sure. Depends on the size of the handlebars on your motorcycle.
Everything under the bars, why allow that speaker to stick up?
Only way I could mount it on the bike due to the handle bars
I got same bike with Vance Hines pipes how do u like speaker
They’re great 👍
Hows the base in it?
Fantastic
I've had other speaker mounted on my bars, how well can you hear it at highway speed?
Decent
If you have a windscreen works even better
They lying bro I can’t hear it past 45 mph
@@jakegregg2773 yeah, I've since bought one. I can hear it in the free way with a windshield and no helmet. Otherwise prob not
Yeah idk what to do I want to add tweeters or something to go with it but idk what is compatible I’m in Tennessee and it’s freezing rn so a full helmet is what I rock and I have no windshield having those circumstances I can’t hear anything over 45 mph for real unless it is country music or something with vocals none of my rap I can hear bummer lol
does anyone know of any kind of wireless /reachable bluetooth speekers for the motorcycle ? ( would like one that does not use/drain the battery )
Same and only issue I’ve been having. Only way to fix that is to get a bigger bike with a bigger sound system 🤷♂️
What wire did you connect the orange wire from the speaker to? I been trying to find the key on wire but can’t find it
I used the same speaker, it was good but then you get 85+ and it’s really hard to hear and I had a windshield blocking a lot of wind, anyone know any louder speakers?
That’s right. I think the best option if your going to be cruising on the highway is getting a bigger bike with a fairing and some powerful aftermarket speakers. That’s what I would do.👍
Also try the Bass Booster App on the Apple store to maximize the volume on the Kuryakyn
Can the speaker use a little USB thumb drive?
not sure
Have you come across a Bluetooth system that is better in your opinion?
I haven’t been looking/ or seen any lately. The truth is that these speakers are great but not for a motorcycle, they are built more for ATVS. They can/will give you battery problems on a motorcycle. If you love riding with music the best solution is to get Bluetooth Helmet speakers or get a motorcycle with built in speaker
It looks like you can no longer see the instrumentation on the bike, especially the LCD display at the bottom ??
You can, but it is a bit covered due to the handle bars
@@WulffPackTV omg - so much has changed since i last commented.
I added a Sony Bluetooth speaker above it and the sound is amazing.
I connected a vance and hines tuner that lives velcroed to the battery and the amazing app running on my phone gives me all the data so no problem if my speedo never sees the light of day again. This set-up ROCKS!!
@@jimdaniels2333 that’s awesome dude. Definitely a great option. I’m having problems with the battery because of the speaker. Will consider this.
@@WulffPackTV I have never had a problem with the battery and put 3k miles on it this season, The Sony is actually powered by the usb-out on the soundbar. How do I post a pic?
@@jimdaniels2333 send it over to my email.
📧 Wulffpacktv@gmail.com
does it bother you that the speaker blocks the speedometer
Not really
Do you have to worry about it getting stolen?
No, they are locked in place. It wouldn’t be a good idea for someone to steel them anyways. Najee you would love them
@@WulffPackTV thanks
@Rowdy you're a grown ass man hating on another mans bike. where did you go wrong in life.🥱
Someone with a Allen wrench could easily steal it
What kind of locking strap is used to hold the speakers on?
The mounting locks come with the Kuryakyn speaker.
original content dumbbbbb fyee
The Entourage! appreciate it bro!
Wait. How do you get music from your laptop to the bike speaker ?
Bluetooth
"yoo iz be" 😂
Is this bar better than a normal JBL Bar??
Never had the JBL bar
In Sweden they want like 600$ for it 😳
Thats crzy!
What? Just hooking it to your battery will let it come on when the bike is off. I think you forgot to mention to hook it to your ignition.
That’s right It should be connected to both battery and ignition.
I had this speaker, but a jbl adds bass at $100 cheaper
Walmart ...target
I like the look and quality of the Kuryakyn, JBL is definitely a great option too. Thanks for sharing Roland!
Roland Nez which jbl speaker
JBL charge 4 or 5 or even the extreme
The JBL is much bulkier than the kuryakan. Ive got booth. Much better look with the kuryakan!
Is dere any way to get this product in india.?
Amazon
Song at 2:38 ?
AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Isn’t this alligator alley?
Correct
@@WulffPackTV I thought so I rode past or 5 hours ago😂 right next to the Harley Davidson where I just started to work
That guy just roll coal on you guys?!
Are they water proof
Yes sir
What a name of music ?
Its stupid. You can barely hear your self think yet alone hearing music while riding. What are you gonna do listen to 10 seconds of music at every light?
Lmao I guess! I love those 10 seconds my guy
Horrible... especially if u love exhaust noise...
This is 4 tweeter wtf😂
Sounds like shi
Well, it's a good thing the speaker doesn't run on compliments!
You must look like a shadow going down the road. I'm probably typing to your family because you are probably dead by now. Jk bro, stay extra safe with all that black. Be defensive.
Stay dangerous!
And safe 💯 I’m alive
