Shirlie's not letting on how important she actually was to both Andrew and George, she was consistently loyal, always encouraging and supportive. Probably the most mature person in Wham at the time and the glue that held them together.
That was so good to hear how Shirley met the Wham boys on the lead up to Wham being set up and how she had to jiggle Martin and Wham around each other what a jiggle!!! 🙂 These were all part of my wonderful and innocent childhood days before I had to grow up ((I never did really)
Shirlie is a great storyteller. I just listened to the podcast "How To Fail with Elizabeth Day" with Shirlie as guest. She went through tough times in her life but she tells the story so well.
@@heraldeventsandfilms5970 oh dear bit childish. I despised a boy once for denying that Welcome Home was a very nice song and was horrified when we were partnered up as milk monitors. Mind you I was 9 years old.

I still love Shirley. When Wham was out me and my friends wanted to be her.
What a nice lady.

Just 1 negative about this radio why don't they play 2000's where are the 2000's?
