I personally love mine. My wife and daughter bought me one for father’s day. I use to carry a Benchmade blade but now I carry this lovely piece. I never realized how much useful it is to have that much tooling on my person.
My favorite multi-tool. When I looked for another tool not for outdoors, but more of EDC, I was looking for something, that has similar ease of use and is no larger than Signal.
It would be ideal if you stuck a flashlight and tweezers in it. Then it would really be a unique, compact, versatile and useful multitool. A true multi-tool for survival. And even though the flashlight would not be particularly powerful, as in Victorinox. But he is. And even one lumen can be very, very useful. p.s. And it is better to process the metal to a mirror shine. Can only be done on one side of the lining. This is a very useful function, firstly as a signal mirror, and secondly, if something gets into the eye, it will be very convenient to use the same tweezers to pull out the splinters and glass.
@@spacedaddy4364 If you know, victorinox spartan lite has a built-in flashlight. The flashlight is also present in the vixtorinox swiss card. Of course, you need tweezers, but suppose you are in difficult conditions at night and you need to get rid of a splinter, you will somehow need a light source.
I own LM Surge past 7 yrs, and I realised I do not need any other tool as EDC. Adding ferrous rod in same pouch, gerber para frame small, small bits, jig blades mini pen flash light and go to woods.
I mostly love my signal, I carry it every day and it’s a nice tool for warehouse work, but the knife blade is the one weak point. I decided that I would rather have a wave blade in my signal than keep the warranty.
I bought this then took apart after i got it super dirty and i can not for the life of me, get the clip to go on the bolt screw. Idk what to do cause it just wont go on
Как ни крути а самая лучшая это Wave, добавить в нее t-shank от surge и ножницы, покрасить раму как у сигнала - будет лучшая модель, на голову выше дурацкой "arc". Забавно как компания продолжает игнорировать здравый смысл.
Im very disappointed in this product, my blade doesn't open all the way it gets stuck half way through opening it I've tried everything to fix it but nothing works. Wouldn't recommend buying
I really don't get it. These knife makers have absolutely no clue what someone outdoors actually needs. No, I don't need my tool to double as a carabiner. I don't need a combo blade either. I wish they spoke to someone who does actually need this for outdoor situations. Wanna make a camping / bushcrafting knife, put a bigger rod in, make the blade actually a blade, add a wood carving scoop, a more able drilling tool... ...
I once met a guy who had a Signal. It confirmed all my suspicions; it's a dollar store toy pretending to be a multitool. It's the only Leatherman tool about which I can say that I like nothing about it. The saw isn't bad, I guess.
It has its uses. I moto camp quite a bit and this is nice to have nearby. I do however think the ferro rod is its bug gimmick, and if I could I'd love to have another tool take its place.
That’s cool and all, but it means literally nothing without any actual criticism or reasons as to why you don’t like the product. You’re just saying “REEEEEEE I DONT WIKE IT!1!1!1!1” with more words. Not particularly useful. It is a good way to make sure no one takes you seriously though. You’ve got that going for you at least!
This is IMO. Other leatherman multitools don't have much more features. Okay, file and scissors. That's it? But signal has a flint, a whistle and a hammer (+- carbine). Lol, I can't understand hating signal. The materials are almost the same, it is quite light. Yes, a professional survivalist is unlikely to use it, but I still can't believe that signal is useless. This is a good multitool.(Translated by the translator, I am not an American)

Looking forward to trying the Signal out. Looks like a great backpacking tool.
PLEASE make a plain edge version!
Best multi tool ever made.
The Mut and Signal are the two coolest Leatherman's ever made.
just got mine today my first leather man , it is very light sharp anf well made, hopefully it will last me for years to come.
Great tool ! Nice addition to any collection !
Everyone still liking the signal? Thinking about giving one a try.
You won't put it down
Thanks, I was hoping to hear that.@@cwsmith17
Yeah they’re as great as any other leatherman imo
This is the same leatherman, only some functions have been replaced by others. I don't think the name of the signal makes it not leatherman. Lol
Absolutely love it!
Recently I've had opportunity to chose between Signal and P4!!Money for only one!!! P4 choosed😊😊
P4 is best so far IMO
My favorite multi-tool. When I looked for another tool not for outdoors, but more of EDC, I was looking for something, that has similar ease of use and is no larger than Signal.
Love the signal, I 3d printed parts to replace the whistle and sharpener with 2 extra slots for screw bits
Excellent multitool

Tweezers would be dope

A non serrated Blade Version was nice
that's my favorite multitool!

make a full fine edge for this!
No arc video?
There is now
Thank you.

where is the compass ?
Id rather have heavy shears instead of pliers. What needs pliers in the wilderness?! I know its leathermans schtick but it makes bo sense
Too bad the main blade is partly serrated.
I've seen some people change the blade. But it would be nice to open the box and immediately have a straight blade.
I happened to have my red signal on my desk when I saw this video in my feed.
Add scissors + glass breaker and I'm sold
GO SURGE!
How do you get it to open?
Texas Tool Crib
Can't get my pliers to close. Worthless.
Warranty it
Не самая удачная модель 🤷♂️

@@sergio.iвозможно. Но одна из самых удачных - однозначно
@@sergio.iне согласен, здравый смысл они игнорируют.
На Wave ещё бы, помимо того что вы предложили, клинок и из более лучшей стали 🤷♂️

It’s like the designers only have online or theoretical backpacking experience.
It isn’t meant to replace your main knife.
Looks good to me…Think I’ll get one to add to my POTA/SOTA back pack..
Yes this is exactly what I need
I really like mine. It doesn't replace my regular knife or saw but has been super handy.

It's so bad, it's on multiple "best multitool" lists.
It’s telling that on Alone they all choose the surge
