I started playing Historic brawl a couple of weeks ago. It is actually pretty fun. I'd watch some occasional content. There seem to be a lot of cool decks now with some of the new commanders from Anthology and Baulder's gate.
I've really gotten into Historic Brawl the last couple of months and I LOVE the format. I built from scratch a Shrines deck with Jegantha as the Commander (very different from your version) and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I actually dislike the addition of Go-Shintai of Life's Origin because nos it's 100% correct to play it instead of more original or whacky commanders. Love the content, Seth!
yeah, after the anthology dropped it seemed like every other person was playing shrines. I started main decking back to nature because of it, and haven't been playing any of my decks that don't have access to green or white as much
As an exclusive Hist-Brawl player, i think you should totally make this a semi-regular thing! I love your commander decks, and I think it would be awesome to mix your EDH and Historic deckbuilding skills! The sky's the limit for HB, and I'd love to see your janktacular decks sink or float :) Great vid as always Seth!!

Awesome format. The game is much more unpredictable and has a lot of variety. That beats, completely, the same formats, with the same cards, we are used to play and watch videos of over and over again. If you make more brawl videos, I'll watch them for sure
I really want to see more Historic Brawl! Just keep in mind that there IS a Commander/deck weighing system in the format so depending on which Commander you use and what cards you play in your deck, you could end up facing nothing but top tier Commanders and try hard decks.

Would definitely love to see more brawl content. Also I love how you make often suboptimal plays in the name of fun. It's hella respectable, and something I wish more content creators did.
Definitely want to see more historic brawl! Depending on your commander, you hit completely different matchups. I have a kinnan deck that almost only gets matched against golos, Nicol Bolas, Teferi and Niv-Mizzet, and a Raggadragga deck that gets matched against everything else. Its a fun format to see what people are building!
If you’re curious, the overwhelming splendor was enchanting your opponent and then when the opponent played minimus containment, it falls off since it’s no longer an enchantment and cannot be attached. Then when you remove the containment, overwhelming splendor is an enchantment that is not attached and is put into the graveyard as a state based action. Interesting interaction in that game. :D The short version being, “yes you are correct”
Even once every other week or more would be a GREAT option for historic brawl vids, it's really the only format I play and I love to see how you would brew in it!
This is probably the most painful video for me. I am an absolute fan of you Seth, the only reason I subscribe to MTGGoldfish. And I love historic brawl and have been waiting to see you do a little game play of that format. But I feel terrible because my most hated deck ever is shrines. Keep playing your favorites though! Love to watch you have fun!
I play a version of this, and Spark Double is a nuts inclusion that you might consider. If you drop it on your commander, it acts as three shrines, and the copy of Go-Shintai stacks with the real one, and so you summon two extra shrines with each shrine you play. And, with the inclusion of the new cards, Historic Brawl feels very much like 1v1 EDH, but with some of the most busted cards removed (eg. Sol Ring), and there is a lot of potential for some great content. Just as long as you avoid the Paradox Engine decks, which are legal for some unfathomable reason because that mistake isn't banned.
Historic Brawl is fun enough to deserve to appear every week, YES. Don't worry about rules for it, if you are competitive (like I like) you'll end up in Hell Queue, against other high power level commanders. As a competitive player, the experience there is the most enjoying one in digital Magic apart from cEDH in paper ❤
Lovin the Brawl Content! Would love to see more. I've been playing it more recently due to the absence of new non-alchemy sets and have been loving it. Hope to see you do some more brawling soon! :)
I would love to see you post some more Historic Brawl content. I've been a free to play Arena player since the beginning and Historic Brawl is literally the only format I play with any consistency besides some random drafts. It's a great way to use a collection and not have to have 4 of any one card, so great for budgeting as well.
I made a Haktos, the Unscarred deck & I absolutely enjoy the random chance of an unblockable/protection from the board creature. (Fails to Toxrill & Elesh Norn.)...Lol Brawl On!
Historic Brawl is the only constructed format I play on Arena. Shrines is my favorite deck, but never had a fitting commander til now. (Refuse to use Golos on principle). Go -Shintai coming to Arena was a godsend.
historic brawl is super fun. It also helps that what you're thinking of, what they do is Wizards kind of tiers up commanders and matches you based on those tiers. So for example, extremely busted commanders like Golos, Nicol Bolas and Kinnan are stuck in their own cedh style top tier while everyone else gets to vibe in another tier
I would love if you uploaded daily historic brawl content, I love this format and it's literally all I play on arena because I only need one of each card
The personal thrill when you call them fake cards like I do! Also my guess is the fortold card from the shadowborn opponent may have been Haunting Voyage, would be a good fit.
ive been loving historic brawl too, seems like the format has caught on and alot of people have been brewing and jamming different commanders. Its nice to play games and actually run up against a variety of commanders instead of the same 2 or 3 like it was for awhile

Would definitely love to see more brawl content. Also I love how you make often suboptimal plays in the name of fun. It's hella respectable, and something I wish more content creators did.
I would like to see you more of this content Seth just very chill video.
The short version being, “yes you are correct”
Even once every other week or more would be a GREAT option for historic brawl vids, it's really the only format I play and I love to see how you would brew in it!
Love seeing historic brawl! It's nice to see formats I never play myself
Seeing some Historic Brawl every once in a while would be nice, watching this one was a lot of fun.
Would love to see some more historic brawl content here and there! Fun stuff
Thanks for sharing some historic brawl gameplay. Definitely interested in more.
Historic Brawl is pretty much all I play on Arena. Glad you're enjoying it!
Brawl is a fun change of pace, would love to see more.
Historic Brawl is great and I would really appreciate if you made some decks to watch and try out.
I've been playing a lot of historic brawl lately and been having a lot of fun with it!
This was a fun video! I'm down to see more Historic Brawl content in the future. :)
It's a good video and Go-Shintaï of Life's Origins is a GOOD Commander.
Historic Brawl is my fav Arena format, I agree with everyone else: More Brawl for sure!
I would love to see you post some more Historic Brawl content. I've been a free to play Arena player since the beginning and Historic Brawl is literally the only format I play with any consistency besides some random drafts. It's a great way to use a collection and not have to have 4 of any one card, so great for budgeting as well.
He's got some mannerisms that remind me of a kid I used to know forever ago named Anthony.
I made a Haktos, the Unscarred deck & I absolutely enjoy the random chance of an unblockable/protection from the board creature.
(Fails to Toxrill & Elesh Norn.)...Lol
Brawl On!
Historic Brawl is the only constructed format I play on Arena. Shrines is my favorite deck, but never had a fitting commander til now. (Refuse to use Golos on principle). Go -Shintai coming to Arena was a godsend.
Same, love Historic Brawl!
I would love to see more historic brawl!
historic brawl is super fun.
Love seeing brawl content from this channel :D keep it coming
I'm enjoying the historic brawl content. Please keep it coming!
I'd be down to see some Brawl videos every once in a while, I think they're fun!
I’d love to see brawl videos every now and then!
This was sweet. I'd love to see your take on a historic brawl shadowborn deck!
More Brawl would be cool.
I also like your best of three stuff too.
Thanks Seth!
I’m fine for some more brawl when you’ve got a cool deck
I'd love to see more historic brawl content, it's fun!
I'm all down for Historic Brawl every week!! 😍😍 It was 100% my favourite format when I played Arena
ive been loving historic brawl too, seems like the format has caught on and alot of people have been brewing and jamming different commanders. Its nice to play games and actually run up against a variety of commanders instead of the same 2 or 3 like it was for awhile
I love historic brawl. The mundane day to day of modern etc is fine for the "metachasers" but it's fun just to try different stuff out with historic brawl. Keep it up
Hi Seth! I would love to see more historic brawl! That’s mostly what I play so it’s the content I enjoy the most, would love to to fun brawl decks. I have a shadowborn apostle brawl deck I enjoy, gotta full commit to not sacking any apostles 😆
I'm happy that you're playing historic brawl! keep doing it
