Shame that there’s not a MAC interface. I guess I’ll have to keep borrowing my wife’s PC. Look forward to getting to grips with the new machine with the help of your excellent videos to follow. One question. Do you think it will perform better than the Deus 1 with EMI? Is that what the channel scanning feature is aimed at?
Thanks Guy, I may be wrong but I think using a single frequency will give you a better chance eliminating EMI. You can still use the channel scan in Deus Mono mode.
When I slect the RC speaker, my WS6 headphones still come on automatically. So I have to turn them off manually. Is that how they are supposed to work?
1100 / 5000 Výsledky překladu Hy Gary, again great video and again a professional approach to detector description. It is technically perfect, and describes the characteristics of the detector as if you were designing it. Great demonstration of functions and perfect description of the initial settings. But there is one thing ..... wouldn't it be better if the manufacturer showed how its detector works and what properties it has in the field ??? wouldn't it be great if XP showed what its settings are and what are the algorithms for detecting different targets in different environments ???? than to try to discover what the manufacturer has programmed into the detector ??? it still seems to me like discovering an alien technology that shows us something, it behaves somehow, but we still can't use its potential, because we're just groping for the settings and programs that the XP masters have cursed into the perfect product. Invite XP authors to the field .... to explain for yourself what and how it does. DEUS II is definitely a very sophisticated project and I'm sure it will open the door to great finds for many, but why on earth do we just have to look blindfolded for what and how the detector tells us ??? With respect and thanks for your work ... VAC
Hi Gary, love the video clips, I have a deus 2 on order since before xmas and still waiting. Do you know what the release date of the closed cup headphones is, and what is the hold up, why release a detector without all accessories .I had the deus 1 and my finds rate went down hill so I went back to a gm power and my finds rate went back up, so hoping for big things from the deus 2.keep up the good work
Gary, thanks so much for all your great videos. Do you know when the Deus 2 will be shipped to US distributors? I’m going beach detecting December 24th, really hoping for them to arrive before then? Thanks
My menu looks like this: 1: freq shift 2: iron volume 3: reactivity 4: audio resperation 5: discri 6: sensitivity I dont have frequency or any other options like bottle caps. Any ideas?
Gary, I got my Deus 2, took it out to a really tough site I test every detector because we’ve hunted it for 40 years, and the EMI is the worst I’ve ever encountered in 47 years of detecting. The few targets left are also deep, some I’ve measured with pinpointer 14”. I got the 11” coil so may be worse affect from EMI? PROBLEM ; I tried every SMF program and very erratic, it seems in the mono that’s around 25 it was better but still not great? The only thing I didn’t try was offsets of each frequency. I’m reaching out to see If I could send you a short video next time I go? Just an FYI, the CTX 3030 is the best modern detector I’ve tested here, noise canceling you can run between 27-30 (max) sensitivity and dig 58 caliber bullets to 14”. I just took an explorer SE there recently and could also run pretty high sensitivity. I love Deus and hope with feedback they can tweak thing to get better?
Thanks Gary, I’ll give it a try. Weather got too hot to relic hunt for me, now dipping back down at night. Can’t wait to get it out in a quiet area and crank it up
Gary, I need some new, non EMI places. I went to 2 more old pounded sites today. Pulled 5 Minnie balls from those 2, walked 2.3 miles getting them. Question; the last site was just overhead but main power lines. These must be much more offensive than the neighborhood ones? Same here, no SMF would run stable, used mono, think it was around 13? CHALLENGE; I was getting false signals from the ground that sounded like a target, dug some GHOST SIGNALS, (UGH!). My old 3.2 Deus one, never did this. I’ll keep at it as long as cool weather holds out, really excited to get it to the beaches, thanks
im particularly curious about beach performance, i used my deus on beach as well but not really impressed with it, lot of going into settings because i detect on wet and dry constantly so had to switch a lot for best performance. I dont understand the simultanious multi frequency bit because i see some programs also use just one frequency, is multi frequency always better or not and when to use what :) lot of questions and hope it will clear up when the machine is out and people testing it. I will get a Deus II for sure but because i have a deus 1 i probably will wait about a year. thanks for the vids
Multi frequency definitely works better on the beach no question. Better depth, smoother more stable performance and better sensitivity to smaller targets. Cheers.
Hi Gary. Great video and very informative. I hope you don't mind me asking about the Go terrain app which you said is nearly ready. I hope I'm wrong but my gut feeling is this will never appear. My reason for questioning this is because for the last '3 years' XP have been responding to my question saying it will be available soon and I've now lost all hope.
QUESTION - Hi Gary, great video mate. Just 1 question. When turning "ON" the Deus II, is it like the Deus I, in that it must be held away from the ground as it sets itself up? Cheers. Keith.
Is Gary I really made a big big mistake somehow I've changed the language from English to a foreign language and can't get my melody detector my day is too back to the English version is there any help thank you
I need help I've changed the language of the metal detector to a foreign language other than English and cannot get back by programs in English Please help if anyone can thank you sincerely Thomas
I’m a Mac user so I’m now swithering whether to buy it or not. Won’t be able to update! Can’t understand why XP aren’t building this in. Seems archaic.
15:00 says everything. I understand what he meant, it's the same thing like with equinox, you get dodgy sound on nails etc with all those multi freq machines. he suggests to skip these dodgy sounds (skip nails and skip targets which are worth digging but sounds dodgy) and go for clear sounds. I guess deus 1 is still better.

Hy Gary, again great video and again a professional approach to detector description. VAC
Thanks
Hey there showing some love ❤
👍
Hi Gary, love the video clips, I have a deus 2 on order since before xmas and still waiting. Do you know what the release date of the closed cup headphones is, and what is the hold up, why release a detector without all accessories .I had the deus 1 and my finds rate went down hill so I went back to a gm power and my finds rate went back up, so hoping for big things from the deus 2.keep up the good work
Hi Graham, sorry no idea about sales and distribution.
Gary, thanks so much for all your great videos. Do you know when the Deus 2 will be shipped to US distributors? I’m going beach detecting December 24th, really hoping for them to arrive before then? Thanks
Hi Jerry
Sales is not my thing, but I would imagine very soon as some US "influencers" have them.
My menu looks like this:
1: freq shift
2: iron volume
3: reactivity
4: audio resperation
5: discri
6: sensitivity
I dont have frequency or any other options like bottle caps. Any ideas?
Thanks for your thoughts.B caps are difficult to reject.
Sounds like mono with an offset will be the only way to go.
Great Video
Thanks
im particularly curious about beach performance, i used my deus on beach as well but not really impressed with it, lot of going into settings because i detect on wet and dry constantly so had to switch a lot for best performance.
Cheers.
Thanks for your thoughts sir
The Nox is great on the beach. I get 10 times more finds than with the Deus 1. So lets hope the Deus 2 is great on the beach.
Please someone explain to me the cheap lcd screen on a 1600 dollar machine it is 2021!!
Thanks for your thought Brent
Well done G
Cheers buddy
Honestly.mate I have no idea when it will be released.
I have been told very soon.
QUESTION - Hi Gary, great video mate. Just 1 question. When turning "ON" the Deus II, is it like the Deus I, in that it must be held away from the ground as it sets itself up? Cheers. Keith.
It's always good practice Keith
Interesting video 👍I’m sure it will probably take at least 6 months to learn on fields but hopefully worth it 🤞👍🎅🏻🎅🏻
I think you are right Peter
I would love to see a Video about the headphones. I cant afford 1600€, but maybe the Deus 2 lite might be an option
Where can you actually get one? All sold out ?
Когда выйдет новая прошивка, обновление на xp deus ???
Thanks Gary as always
Thanks Jerry

Why do I have a person icon on my programs I’ve altered
Because you have altered it
I’m a Mac user so I’m now swithering whether to buy it or not. Won’t be able to update! Can’t understand why XP aren’t building this in. Seems archaic.
I did hear they were working on a MAC update.
how much this product and where we can purchase here in Phillipines?
15:00 says everything. I understand what he meant, it's the same thing like with equinox, you get dodgy sound on nails etc with all those multi freq machines. he suggests to skip these dodgy sounds (skip nails and skip targets which are worth digging but sounds dodgy) and go for clear sounds. I guess deus 1 is still better.
Thanks for your thoughts my friend.
