Great video Gary, I run Deep HC almost exclusively with the Deus 2, I get about 6 hours of run time on the 11” coil. I’ve made a few changes to the default program, square audio 5 tone with custom breaks (I live in the US), audio response 6, no freq shift, and discrimination around 7. The reactivity is really site dependent, I’ve run as low as 1 in quiet fields, and 5 in heavy contamination. My default is 2.5. It’s a hot program that’s for sure.
I run it the same way!
Love the videos I've learnt so much, and especially as I'm about to buy a deus 2, but does that mean you'll not be doing no more videos on the deus 1
Hi gary just a quick question on deep hc and general if i change to 3 tone and set the tone frq to my liking were do i set the tone break of the second tone for uk use do i set it at 68 to 70 or a bit lower as only just got deus 2 and un sure were good items come in in the vdi many thanks daryl think i will give deep hc a try on the stubble this weekend 👍👍👍👍👍
Another good video Gary with some good takeaways on frequency and reactivity, interesting that general started to loose the low conductive target on the audio first out of all the programs, probably due to the subtractive method used on that program.

Deus 2 is still really bad at showing iron as a digable target. Iron ID really needs sorting.
Is ot necessary to g.b. on the deus 2 or is it like the deus 1
I was most impressed with this machine on the deep Indian head pennies and silver barber dimes hear in the us I have pulled 5 barbers very deep 9 +inches and they were half the size of that silver you just pulled time to sell the ctx and cover the cost of my Deus 2 It has far superior recovery speed at deep depth

Seeing the same here in Wisconsin Brad, the D2 is just blowing my mind even with the 9” coil. I indeed sold my CTX to cover the D2 and even though my love affair with the CTX is well known and long lived, it’s gone and I’m very OK with that. I’ll be getting that 11”x13” coil this winter, I can’t WAIT to see what happens with it in the spring! This D2 is doing something WAY different, finding deep old small coins is just too easy!
I agree I love my D2 as well.
Gary, what's the fast 40 slot? I've heard it's developers slot. I've used it with great Success, on roman a field that's highly iron populated, also with Power lines and mobile masts, at it seems far less sensitive to EMI.

And also speak about the problems with the antena cord that conects the coil with the computer, that cords it rusts and falls apart with only 3 uses in the sea. Its my third one and Im very dissapointed for an expensive detector as the Deus 2

Strange, i also have the Equinox 600 but i don''t dig much iron, not more then with the Equinox. Got the Deus 2 now for 1 month and didn't touched the Equinox since. Yesterday i found a platina ring with 4 diamonds and the last 3 weeks i found 2 gold rings and one of them i found at a place i went overmany times with the Equinox and other detetcors so the Deus 2 did a good job.
@@petervandenbosch6353 I used deus 2 in the desert and park always get iron I will try it on beach I think is good on beach but desert and parks get a lot iron
@@abomhmd6666 I'm always searching in parcs and use a high disc (set on 30). Gold starts to come in from 30 untill almost 90. So no probem with iron and you don'y loose much. Even depth is still good with disc on 30.

@@tataglontz I purchased the perineal shovel with the long handle. Then I shortened it to my height. I also TIG welded a reinforcement plate on the backside of the spade.

Shame Deus 1 users have just been dumped.
If the machine was a proper multi frequency detector all programs would be as deep
Not if they have different reactivities and other settings.
And different programs can use different frequency ranges - which I appreciate...

@@walkingthefields1217 How do you know, what spectrum Nox uses? No one ever told us. Are you a Minelab engineer?
General/Sensitive/Fast/Gold Field/Beach sens use frequencies up to 40 kHz.
E.g. I really like Park program - no alternative program on Equinox.
I didn't like Equinox - digging lots of iron. I really liked E-trac though.
@@walkingthefields1217 DII is not perfect, but suits my needs much better than Equinox.
