Hey Randy, as always love your channel! and especially enjoy the dynamic duo! you and monkey wrench Mike have a great friendship! he has been so supportive of you I think it’s a tremendous gesture on your part to get him an upgraded truck! thanks for all the hours of enjoyment! wouldn’t miss an episode! Makes my day a little brighter when I see your thumbnail pop-up up
When Randy was question the random beeping the Nissan made when he closed the door was just the alarm that Nissan’s vehicles make when you try to lock the car with the button on the door handle and the smart key fob is left inside of the car and when you close the door with the car running it typically beeps 3 times both my mom’s old Nissan Armada, and Pathfinder as well as my sister’s old Nissan Juke did the same thing.
That Honda really doesn't surprise me. I swear insurance companies hate people like me and just want to get rid of all old cars on the road... I have a 1990 Chevy Caprice Classic fairly good shape. About a month ago I got sideswiped by a drunk driver, my car was parked on the road. Got dicked around by insurance for about 3 weeks but less than a week after I got hit I'd already tracked down a guy not far from me who is getting ready to derby an 88 Caprice. I had mnimal damage all I needed was a rear clip, driver rear tail light and the back bumper I could have just left... but it had a huge dent in it I figured I would change it as well. These old boxy cars are super rare where I am in Canada and I wasn't about to just give up on this one and it was incredibly rare to just happen to find a guy who had one like mine who was getting ready to smash it up... long story short Insurance called me back wanted to offer me $2,500 and total my car.... seriously all I needed was the rear clip fiberglass, a rear headlight and I honestly could have just left the rear bumper as it was and they actually totaled the car.
These Maxima’s are pretty fast. But the CVT transmission is the week point. I rented a lot of them for business trips. They rip. Crazy torque steer though.
The Maxima: My Rogue's CVT needed to be serviced that, if not under warranty, would have been in the 1500 range. The Traction control light came on when the service was needed. That might be all it needs.
Randy that nissan maxima for 1750, I'd go for it if I were you. Chances are the only mechanical damage on it is probably a bad cv axle. Since it's got a cvt that's the only risk your taking in my opinion but since it's got 200,000 Miles it's probably ok probably not. The battery on that is definitely not the right size for it and it could be causing things to act up due to incorrect voltage being sent through the computers. My cars a computer driven car and when my stock battery finally bit the dust, it was acting up like crazy. Went and got a brand new one and now it runs beautifully. Ran me 200 bucks but well worth it.
Randy another great video of were me I walk away from all of them but that just me great your back in oklahoma for Christmas☃️be save merry Christmas to you and family see you in the next one
On those A6’s lasted from 2011-2018 so majority of the parts are still interchangeable. So you could still make one good car from the two of them. I own a 2011 Maxima and they are slow to engage gears when it needs to be flushed. Mine had the same issue, I flushed it and I was good to go. But about the brake and traction control lights those are caused by needing brake work. Other than that they are good cars
G"evening Randy ☕☕☕ . It looks to me like this is your lucky day my friend because you stumbled across a 98k mile jewel in the rough and exactly what you've been looking for for good reliable transportation and great gas mileage to run back and forth from Oklahoma to Indiana with. If you can get it for $750-800 Scoop up that Honda and run away with it all day long. While you're at it stop at the auto spa and turn them loose on it. Get all the fluids flushed and changed, and swap out all the plugs, relays and fuses as well as the air & cabin filter too. In a nutshell your basic PM service and a few small extras because it's cheap insurance. If the timing belt needs changed I would recommend going with a gator back or a Gates belt Just For Peace of mind. When you get it serviced and your bouncing back and forth between HQ and the satellite office I'll bet a dollar to a dog biscuit you'll be real glad you did 🙃🙃
It depends on what car has the cvt transmission also I had a Honda pilot and the trani broke and I parked is because is was too expensive to fix or get a new one I miss that Honda it was a great car😪😭😢
If a dealer buys an auto with a salvaged title from auction, but the seller has made some or all of the repairs.....can the dealer/buyer get the rebuilt title by inspection alone, without the receipts from the repairs?
Watch your head getting in those Nissans!!! I put a dollar in the "Cuss Jar" every time I do that and last year I saved up enough for a laptop and a hot water heater. If the Carolina Panthers keep playing the way they have I should have enough $$$ for a classic Plymouth Duster. Swearing - good for the economy! 😀💰💲
I was trying to get a 2009 I think Honda Accord two door like this I seen the guy driving a newer car I asked if he had gotten a new car and he said naw and he totalled the car out am glad he didn't get hurt
There's a Flaw in your Videos when you mention Timing Belts and your looking for a sticker. I do my own work and many times I've replaced both Timing belts and chains and I didn't put no Sticker on the Vehicle. On a Couple I wrote with a Permanent Marker the Mileage and Timing Belt, but there's the Possibility that it was a home job and just wasn't stickered.. I could be wrong.
Honda is decent maybe grab it? Think I’d walk away from the four door Honda! Like to see you get the two door. Maxima don’t know looks good buttt! Might be worth 1700! Dodge locked up?
From my experience they are decent. They tend to make performance or all season tires but also have a few budget tires for someone looking for something for a daily driver that don't care about performance. I tend to get Bridgestone or Goodyear since they are more available where I live but could be different for you.
And NPA starting where they don't give you a clean title even for a clean title vehicle while getting advanced inspection that costs a $150 to be out even get it straight legal I think that is crooked and on top of that it's a percent sales tax on vehicle here in Pennsylvania want to buy it from events from the auction another 7 cent sales tax to register in your name
A grand for that civic isn't bad. Probably an old person who died. Who cares about the headliner, cut out the ripped section. Put a junkyard steelie on the front right and some used tires. Cheap walmart battery, some fresh gas and some new plugs, $1.89 per wiper blade at O'Reilly's under the commercial discount and flip it.
It's hard to buy cars from copar and flip many more cost too much money and fees to get them out of Cooper to make any money cars that used to buy for 500 that caught me maybe 700 to go out the door I would be able to sell for 22 to 2500 bucks now be lucky that car same car cost me around 1800 to make maybe a $100 profit if I'm lucky that's not including my gas to get there Or to get back
When randy cusses you know it hurts because he never really cusses on video, I hope your head is alright after that hit in the Nissan

Nice little Honda! just picked up an 09 Civic sedan with 43K miles for my sons first car!
Really liked the 2 Dr civic , they'll run forever . Also Merry Christmas Randy
Hi, without test driving the Nissan, I wouldn't risk it if it's got a Jaico trans.

Love to see that Jaguar Randy, thanks man I never missed an episode I try to keep up, all the best and thanks bro
hi.always great video's to watch. merry Christmas to you and Jessica and nick and friends. Pj..
Merry Christmas.Ive been watching your channel for a few years and thank you for all you do !
Man Hondas run forever. I got 350 thousand miles out of my 92 prelude before the rust took over
Those Maxima’s had CVT’s that were horrible. I think they were Jatko’s
great video Randy, all the cars were good and looking forward to the Jag on the next one 👍
Yeah he had us all with that Jaguar, can't wait to see it
My dad and his friends had those Maximas. Strong cars. Great ride. Get it! Merry Christmas, Randy!
Maybe keep a small pair of vicegrips in your bag, clamp on the bad gas strut it’ll help hold the hoods

That blue 4 door civic has plenty of life
Randy another great video of were me I walk away from all of them but that just me great your back in oklahoma for Christmas☃️be save merry Christmas to you and family see you in the next one
Merry Christmas and happy new year Randy!
Hey my friend. Merry Christmas.
Happy holidays!
Marry Christmas from Norway 🇳🇴🙂

Yep. Brake fluid bottle is too small so whenever the pads are low the brake and other lights come on.
Merry Christmas, Randy and your family
Take the blue Civic and drive it to Terre Haute and back! Amazing Content Advisory! Love your videos, keep up the good work!
i love my 4.7 dodge runs perfect.
When that cvt gets warmed up it’ll start slipping and it’ll go in to limp mode
The thing about the civic ex , the paint likely has seen much less harmful uv rays

I like the Maxima 🥰
Great cars, transmissions are sketch…
@@MauiWauiPineappleExpress 👍👍👍
That generation of civics are great little cars
IMO the last generation of real Civics.
I always wanted a 03 Civic coupe !get the Civic bro.
This Máxima looks Nice man
Civic coupe would be a yes for me. Maximas so great except dumb cvt. had problems with my 08 Altima coupe
Good morning Randy
Are cvt transmissions something to avoid ?
If it’s an older Nissan, yes…
It depends on what car has the cvt transmission also I had a Honda pilot and the trani broke and I parked is because is was too expensive to fix or get a new one I miss that Honda it was a great car😪😭😢
It seems that you like the Honda, they are very resistant. That truck is a bargain.. and the Jaguar is easy to fix, and many profits. lucky
Merry Christmas Randy
Love your work brother

The 4 door civic not too bad though. Better than dealing with the rusted out brake lines
Hope you got a hot chocolate after this one Brrr 🥶🥶🥶
97k mile civic felt like he was being harsh on that car compared to other honks of junk he’s bought for more money
Hello Randy. 2003 Honda Civic is a good car. You should put a bid on Randy. The other cars and trucks are good.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
$1,050 for that Civic EX sedan, I'd take it.
It look like ass, but it would get me from point A to B.
Thanks for the video, Randy.
I was trying to get a 2009 I think Honda Accord two door like this I seen the guy driving a newer car I asked if he had gotten a new car and he said naw and he totalled the car out am glad he didn't get hurt
Merry Christmas ,Randy
Honda gray turns bluish purple hue over time.

The civic would be good for a rebuild/restoration. I mean you bought a 84 Chevy Citation!!! An 03 Civic? Go for it. Bid up to $1600!
I know right? At least the honda will sell asap.
In Bay Area cars doesn’t go any anymore cheap all above $1500 or 3000
Why don’t you bring vice grips to to hold the hood up
Go for the Jag, Randy!
Two things I find on 99% of used Hondas, no matter age or mileage, are factory original timing belts and trans fluid.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS !😃
So are you buying the Corvette from Florida
Good luck on the Nissan. Merry Christmas
My moms 09 Altima the passenger window doesn’t roll from up from the master switch either 😂
fix the civic and bring to indy.....looking for my 16 year olds first car....id be interested
Honda black fabric often fades to a blue ish tint
Don't worry about Randy cursing it didn't hurt too bad like that armrest it's too bad
That is nuts
I want to see I that van behind the Nissan Maxima
Is this new or a rerun?
Keep rocking and rolling watch your head ha ha
Save that civic, Randy put it back on the market
Woohoo fast again for once
Honda is decent maybe grab it? Think I’d walk away from the four door Honda! Like to see you get the two door. Maxima don’t know looks good buttt! Might be worth 1700! Dodge locked up?
What does pedal car mean?
how to get a list of cars for sale before they go up for sale
I wonder if the Maxima's "mechanical failure" is ABS related since the traction control light is on.
It comes on when they need pads due to low brake fluid because all the fluid is in the calipers.
@@eptdy Thanks for the facts. A simple brake job then!
Could you show us the Honda passport?
I would chose the rotted brake line civic instead
Morin kid MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅
got news, leather(black)sucks in the summer 2.
I'm pretty sure that's not blue... unless it looks different on camera

Disadvantages of the Nissan Gear stick
Keep seeing the ad for an Allante stay away, I have worked on one.
Don't go there.
Quad cab.
I'm surprised the Honda started with 3 year old fuel
How can you make any money that the cars only work 1200
Now we know why the dealership didn’t want to sell you a new one because they knew you are not keeping them.
Buy one of the civics the first one probably needs a master cylinder
Those A6's are the same just different engine
Wo man
That Audi is easy to fix. and get a good profit
The Honda has a Gray interior
Hi Randy
Hey buddy
Literally to the 1% who's reading this, God bless you, and may your dreams come true, stay safe and have a wonderful and blessed day.😇
Do not believe it costs $600 to get a couple part car out of the gate when you only buy the car for 400
The civic may have suspension damage
It's hard to buy cars from copar and flip many more cost too much money and fees to get them out of Cooper to make any money cars that used to buy for 500 that caught me maybe 700 to go out the door I would be able to sell for 22 to 2500 bucks now be lucky that car same car cost me around 1800 to make maybe a $100 profit if I'm lucky that's not including my gas to get there Or to get back
