    After finishing the Rob Roy Way I stayed a few days in Pitlochry and had a day hike up to Ben Vrackie as well. Very nice place. Thx for sharing.

    I can see the sign now... "Alistair's Breeks & Poles" 😂
    I jest but I am with you. My days of camouflage are behind me, I would rather be found quick sharp on the hills these days.
    It wasn't until last year that I entered the pole market. I always thought "pfft, I'll not use those ever" now my body says, get those poles and they definitely make a difference, no doubt about that.
    I've not yet done this one but it looked a fairly popular hill. The last time I was up that neck of the woods was on the Etape Caledonia last year, all the way out to Schiehallion, past that and back... a lovely area.
    Cracking stuff as always.

      @HighlandHikers  2 года назад

      Haha - that sounds like an excellent name for a business 😂 I swear by poles - makes the going easier, and has definitely saved me going over on my ankle on numerous occasions.
      It was certainly a lovely walk, but I’d maybe try and go mid week if you can, to avoid the worst of the crowds.
      Cheers, Douglas

    Enjoy all of your vlogs, we're on holiday in Rannoch over Easter for 2 weeks, so Vrackie could well be on our to-do list. Also Faskally Parkrun this Saturday!

      Thank you 😊 I went for the Terra Nova Laser Compact 1, and Alistair went for the MSR Elixir 1. I did an unboxing video for the Terra Nova if you want to see a bit more of that one (ruclips.net/video/TJ9cHT3IqNM/видео.html). Cheers, Douglas.

    Brilliant video. Just to ask about the revolution race trousers. What is the sizes like? Am about to purchase a pair but not sure what size. Am like a 38 waist. Is it a large or x large. Sorry for asking lol.

    • @HighlandHikers
      @HighlandHikers  Год назад +1

      Thanks Alan. 38" might be between XL and XXL going by their size guide and comparing to what I have, would probably avoid the Large

    • @MyScottishAdventures
      @MyScottishAdventures Год назад

      @Highland Hikers thank you. I ended going with the XL and fitted perfectly. Got my first use out of them going up Ben Vorlich at loch lomond on Fri their. Hope you have some content going up soon. I learn a lot from your videos.

    • @HighlandHikers
      @HighlandHikers  Год назад +1

      Excellent! I find them extremely comfortable and a great fit.
      We will have a new video out next week, which should be the start of regular content again.
