I think deep down, Courtney is just scared about never being stargirl again, but doesn't know it. Ever since she moved to Blue Valley, Courtney never found anything that fit until she found the Cosmic Staff. Now that there isnt any real threat right now, Courtney fears she will have to hang up her mask for good. That is probably why she continues to look for signs of any major threats, to ensure stargirl still has a purpose.
Maybe Pat should tell Courtney more about Sylvester's background, about how he was able to live a double life. That might convince Courtney not make her entire life about being stargirl.
@@Owl_Space Indeed. One can only make your entire life about being a superhero when you don't have to earn a living to keep a roof over your head and food on the table.
I am pretty sure that it's not just Batman funding the Justice League at this point. Oliver, Karen Starr (Power Girl) who runs a software company, and several others contribute to the League coffers.
I remember the scene in the Spider Man movie where Tony Stark tells Peter Parker him to return the suit and Peter says he is nobody without the suit, Stark says then he shouldn't be wearing it. Something similar occurrs here, Courtney has a responsibility as Stargirl but she is also becoming obsessed with it and is loosing a bit of control mentally and emotionally, she says she will make a carreer as Stargirl, yeah right, that will pay the bills.
I'd enjoy the irony of Per Degaton being who Jay Garrick interrupted The Shade's JSA headquarters tour over in the 10 years later flash forward. Apparently that ending was for multiverse crossover.
"What happened to Per Degaton?" "Flash banished him to an alternate timeline." "Whatever that means." What DOES "banished to an alternate timeline" mean? All I can think of is that Per Degaton is now stranded in an alternate universe since each Earth has a separate timeline. But, without further explanation, I'm curious what that does mean. Anyone have any ideas?
@juan jose escamilla There are actually two comic book characters with the name Mobius. One is the Anti-Monitor, but there is also Mobius M Mobius, which is who Owen Wilson plays on Loki
I hated the part where Courtney doesn’t know what a “alternate timeline” is and 4 supervillains were mentioned : Per Degaton , Blackbriar Thorn , Baron Blitzkrieg and Gentleman Ghost
She never said she doesn't know what an alternate timeline is She just said what ever it means about flash banishing someone there But yes she probably doesn't know what alternative timeline means. But for example in Flash and legend's of tomorrow an alternate timeline is a parallel timeline belonging to the same universe While For example in Marvels MCU it's another universe The question is what do the Stargirl writer deciding? But the bigger question is Did Superman or Supergirl ever arrived on stargirls earth and when yes when? And why did the flash just banished per degaton in another timeline where he still can do harm? Instead of the phantom zone?
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 according to John Wesley shipp The Jay Garrick on the flash is the same who was in stargirls old JSA Which means stargirl was pre crisis earth 3 and then it became earth 2 in post crisis and After the fight with the ISA he barely survived? He went with his wife to earth prime And because jay survived the Crisis means that Jesse quick could be alife aswel maybe the same age when she died or in post crisis she was born later? Sorry for the low FPS - I accidentally rendered it at the wrong settings.
No worries man

She has a point about Per Degaton, especially with what he does to Pat in the comics.
What did he do with Pat in the comics? :(

I think that Courtney think that since the staff didn’t quit on her like her bio dad did that she should keep going as stargirl
But not like this, not by ignoring everything else in her life.
