Did you adjust the bottom eyelet height? Or did u just install it right out of the box? Seems like after installing the bike it’s a bit tall in the back. It is new compared to the original with 15k miles on it. So maybe that’s it. Thanks
I considered it and have read good things about it, more reasonably priced than the Racing Bros, the spring rate that it came with though was a bit high for me, Kevin from MNNTHBX said it was perfect for 150-265lbs, and me being like 145 sounded like it would be a bit too stiff. The spring also only comes in blue, and I wanted red or black :p
Looks awesome and I’m sure will be a major suspension upgrade. I’d be concerned about the shock getting heated up and losing performance once the shock gets heat soaked being surrounded by the two exhaust pipes, I’d heat wrap those. I faced a similar problem with my 390 duke previously because of exhaust routing near the near shock
Thanks. I hadn't even considered heat soak in the spring but I'd be surprised if it was getting that hot - I'm finishing up the gearing video riding today so will be sure to check temps and include in that video. 😎
The brand in Wanyifa from eBay. Less than $10 for the pair: www.ebay.com/itm/M8-Titanium-Hex-Head-Screw-Ti-Flange-Bolt-Pitch-1-25mm-20-25-30-35-40-45-50-55mm-/255268576778
Its amazing how 1 bolt that mounts the exhaust makes such a difference in the appearance. The bike is coming along nicely, and another great video.
100% the grom I’m jealous of🤙🤣 bloody mint job mate
Jesus $$$ - good taste tho - between high gas prices and these shocks I’ll keep bouncing around on my stock shocks lol

What are your thoughts on nitron shock from mnnthbx?

Dang I bet that bike rides completely different than when it was stock

Titanium dissipates heat very quickly. It will be a non-issue with the spring.
Sweet! … and that titanium bolt!!! Very nice touch! Have a link? Edit- Racetech? …..or Race Ti on the bay?

@@eastcoastish Sweet, thanks. I couldn’t wait and ended up spending double on Racetech versions. 😂
I installed those on my monkey and they work great
Did you have that spring powder coated red? I have that same shock but my spring is grey.
Steady Garage offers this with a turquoise spring by default or for an extra $30 you can get red or black. The link is in the description.
@@eastcoastish Hahaha, maybe mine is turquoise? I’m colorblind. I just assumed it was grey.🤣
How did the new shock perform?
The shock is great, it’s honestly the best performing shock I have in any of my bikes, big bikes included.
I thought the 2022 had 5 gears ?
Yep, 2022+ is 5-speed gear box.
