Guess i have to move to Texas so I can have the best scooter shop in the country keep my 2022 Yamaha Zuma in tip top shape. great video! Hope you're having great success with your new venture. If you get your hands on a 2022 Zuma, I'd love to see some footage of that by you. It's a pretty under reported vehicle. Would be great to hear your thoughts on it.
I so wanna put that bike hauling capability on my Buddy 125. I have a mid drive electric bike I want to haul to where I ride. I’m sick of using my wife’s truck. It’s way to tall. Do a vid on haulin stuff with scooters. That would b cool. Great stuff!!
@@Scooter_911 A 2004 Yamaha Zuma 50 cc was given to me about a month ago. Has been neglected for awhile. The air filter crumbled into a pile when I tried to remove it…….🙄! Got a few things wrong but fixing them one at a time with some guidance from a friend! Im so excited! I will let you know when Im finished and uts running. Your videos have already helped immensely! Thx so much!🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵
Whatever happened to the infamous taotao? I'll be getting one soon and I've been binging your "Living with a taotao" series. Gonna get one with about 1.7k miles or km I'm not really sure. It's treated my cousin well
is there a top and bottom tot he shock or can it be installed either way? im seeing many ohlins installed with the adjustment at the top not the bottom.
Not off topic at all my friend! Truthfully I've been so busy with starting up my shop I havent gotten a chance to check one out in person yet. But from what I can tell its using an old powertrain from the retired elite 110 which was a super solid platform. And because that bike was sold world wide there are already off-the-shelf mods for the engine and transmission. All and all I'm pretty excited about the Navi. We have a lot of customers who are looking for a good reliable bike in that price point and until now we really didnt have any new bike to point them towards. The other thing i love about the Navi is that its an automatic. As manual transmission cars are becoming fewer and farther between a lot of people are very intimidated my manual transmission motorcycles. This is a great way for people to enter the 2-wheel world. OH YEAH AND BUILT IN STORAGE?!?!? thats the best! I'll probably do a video review of one if I ever get one in the shop.
@@Scooter_911 yes a review would be great! All in all I agree it's a good bike for basically all the points you bring up. I'm definitely interested in getting one. Chinese brands have been manufacturing similar styled bikes for a few years, by similar I mean sport or sport-touring styled automatic motorcycles/scooters with the gy6. Essentially automatic Grom or Ninja 250 clones. Now I can turn a wrench, and get along with Chinese bikes fine, but having a solid Big 3 company put out a bike in this category with dealership support and warranties will be nice.
Hey I have a 150cc moped and it’s been sitting for a few years I got it running but my only issue is it drains the battery after starting it 3 or 4 times. It didn’t have that issue before it was parked. Could it be the stator ?
Hey man, I personally think it's so very "GREAT" , what you've done, HOWEVER: If it were me, "MY BIKE", I'd be Happy, thankful, :AND VERY "unhappy" that you just decided to do this to MY BIKE, w/out letting me know...... Overall happy, but VERY IRITATED!
I can understand that. And I can reassure we only did this because we knew the customer very well and he had already expressed interest in upgrading it!
@Lane AWD Folks, I don't care what is done, what is acceptable in peoples view the fact is the less material you have touching the road the less traction you will have. It's a matter of physics you cannot get around.
So you are no longer 🎶living with a Tao Tao?
Its still around coming back soon i promise!
@@Scooter_911 love that series

New content! Sweet, I need to put some knobby tires on my 125 Zuma.
Dude absolutely! The zuma even runs the same tires as the Grom!
If you ride under a bridge in my fine city, the hypodermic needles would be popping your tires.
Garett's random acts of coolness.
Making the world a better place one bike at a time my friend!
We need a catchy Honda song like that Toyota Corolla one.
I'll ask TC superstar to get on it!

They technically can be installed either way but its recommended to be installed with the adjustments accessible!
Man thing is loud 🤯

Off road.. yeah I get it but he can't ride those tires on the street, he'll have way less traction. I think such a hybrid is a Bad idea.
Bro... Dual Sports and Adventure bikes are sold with knobby tires on, and intended to be driven on the street.
