I found a better was to suspend the back was to use car axel stands under the foot pegs bracket. All you have to do is whilst on the side stand adjust both stand to the height of the right side bracket. Put a cloth on top of each stand to protect the bike put one stand under the right side have your left one ready to push under the left side. Push the bike up on to the right stand then with you foot slide the left one under the left bracket and It will be very secure.
Will the regular piggyback shock be available for the 2022+ Groms? The remote reservoir is kind of dumb really when you have the perfect spot piggybacking.
@@HardRacingPerformanc Is it that much different from earlier gen Groms? This is my first one. On those it seemed like you could mount it upside down or maybe trim some plastic. I assume that no piggyback will ever be coming then from Ohlins. I am going to order this one next Tuesday.
Guy's what are the best tyres to fix my Grom. The Vee rubber is just down right dangerous. Any ideas please. Stickier the better for everyday use. Many thanks.
I was wondering if I can still fit my chimera intake if I was to purchase this set up? It looks like the canister might go into the space that the intake comes out of..?
Do you guys know if the canister location in this install will be possible while also using the Chimera intake? It looks like they may be competing in the same space? The Chimera is already a very tight fit with little room for adjustment.
@@saleshardracing1561 Did you guys actually install both to confirm? It’s just not 100% clear if you successfully installed both or are assuming it’ll work with the canister pushed back. Hey, it may make a great follow up video to do both??!! Thanks again for the reply!
@@HardRacingPerformanc awesome, really appreciate the leg work! Saves a lot of us out in the wild some anxiety wondering if the investment is worth the risk.
It's a Suffix we all use to clarify what gen. OG = Gen 1 SF = Gen 2 RR = Gent 3 Since the years are all different through out the world, it makes it much easier for owners, to know when they are ordering parts, if it fits their specific bike.
I love this guys voice. Sounds like Jessie off of fast and furious.
Awesome, looks like the complete kit! Great job! #GromGang
Thank you very much.
Jesse from fast & the furious is back from the dead installing Grom parts! You sound just like him 😂
Overnight parts from Japan

How do you back the collar all the way out when it hits the canister hose fitting on the shock? Trying to replace my spring as we speak with the 140
Any advice or a video on how to change the spring on this thing?? The manual doesn’t address that. Please help!!
Now if I can just figure out how to buy the dang thing... lol

Not enough room to have a piggy back. That's why the only offer a Remote Reservoir

Did you think it’ll work with Frame sliders?

Yes indeed. We even made a detailed video showing them BOTH in stalled at the same time.

Nice work. Should the swingarm rubber bushings get upgraded to bearings?
Thx

We thought the same thing. Looks like you'll have to slide the Ohlins Canister back a little to make room for the Chimera.

First thing I thought when I watched the canister install. I just threw the chimera on this weekend. Would be a drag if one inhibited the other
They do play well together. We made a detailed video showing this.: ruclips.net/video/_eUFlXuO1ik/видео.html

How do you remove the bolt holding on the plastic cover above the wheel on the right side? It's too close to my exhaust.
Exhaust comes off =)
@@serialminded I figured that out 5 months ago! But yeah, for anyone doing this in the future... Just move the exhaust out of the way.
Can u use the old grom shock on the new one?
Unfortunately, No.
Very interesting
Jack the bike up against the exhaust? Lol, no thanks.🤦♂️
I'm confused why you are calling this the Grom RR. 🤔

@@HardRacingPerformanc lol bro it's not called an RR. you can just order parts based off year.
