They put a Quattro head on an Xtreme 3 handle. Both excellent razors. Never been a fan of Big G. Not for political reasons just always thought they were overpriced. My dad loved atra plus with metal handle
@@averageguytested I respectfully disagree. I'm a Schick guy all the way. The quality is at least equal to Gillette. The price of Gillette doesn't justify the difference in quality IMHO. The shick St twin disposable is even more comfortable than Gillette good news
I use the same razor here in NZ , $7 for 3 , or $30 for 4 Gillette cartridges, I'll take Schick . I find that a brush shave with Palmolive Aloe vera and olive oil soap works best with this razor
I’m a big fan of the Schick Quattro/Xtreme 4. Only razor I’ve never been cut by, and I think it’s a great travel shaver. Although I don’t like the hydro series razors I do like this and the Xtreme 3.
@@averageguytested The xtreme 3 is pretty good for about five days. then it goes dull. At least to somebody who has been shaving for over 50 years. And I probably used more different brands of razors then most people took vacations in their life.
I brought the schick xtreme 4 several days ago and started to use them two days ago. Now to my surprise they don't even cut my whiskers like the xtreme 3 does. It is like either the blades are not sharp or they don't make contact with my skin right. The xtreme 3 does a pretty good job at doing that . I can't even feel the blades at the xtreme 4 cutting my skin unless I shave at least three times over the same spot. I don't think that they are any good at it due to either the design , or the lack of blade sharpening. Oh yes I have been shaving for over fifty years and I know what is good and what is not. I am disappointed at this product and will contact the company and let them know about it.
great video as always never had a job requiring being clean-shaved every day no ties only when i worked in an amusement part the work uniform was shirt and butterfly to begin with changed over time to gee forgot the name even in Danish t-shirt with buttons and a collar poloshirt?? of also we wore cabs
1. I love the long videos! (Make a 2 hour one & I’ll watch it!) 2. I’m also a self admitted S.F.M. (Sucker For Marketing) however I just can’t pull the trigger on the purchase of the Heated Gillette Razor. $200 is just crazy not to mention the blades are expensive too. I’d cave in if they dropped the price to $100 just to satisfy my bad financial making decision curiosity. What are your thoughts? As a S.F.M aren’t you the slightest bit curious?
...He's just in denial...he loves the Nivea..and the Schick....but...let's put it this way.. IT'S JUST BETTER!....(the Walgreens razor is from the same company...)
theMediaMart Don’t feel pressure from me! I wasn’t hinting at all. I just was sharing that as A Sucker For Marketing that was a purchase I was considering.

Gillette makes the best cartridge razors // hands down. I understand about the political reasoning tho. Shave on!

I agree on both. The XTREME 3 is a great razor for sure!

The Xtreme 3 is a solid razor - I agree with you about the 4 - thanks for watching 👋🏽
.....WAllgreens is using the same Makers of Schick as well.. I forgot to mention it...
Cool.
@theMediaMart What do you prefer? Schick Xtreme 4 Outlast or Bic Flex 3?
I’d have to put them through the budget wars, but they are close and the BIC can be had for less - so I’d say BIC based on that.
Thanks for replying. 😃👍
