for stubble that is 3 days old, I usually shave in shorter strokes to minimise pulling on my facial hair and that minimises any irritation, redness/razor burn and in-grown hairs. The shorter stroke approach can be use when shaving cross-grain or across your face or neck. Minimises hair pulling/tugging and all the other things I mentioned in my previous sentence. Also, want to keep your beard soft and less itchy, just apply your favorite post shave moisturiser lotion to both all of your face AND beard! I do this all the time and it leaves my beard feeling nice and soft and itch-free all the time! Recently ordered that Gillette Mach 3 3D handle and blades from the link you provided in that shaving video of that product. I hope you got something out of it. Should be coming this Monday or Tuesday! I am going to use that Gillette Mach 3 3D handle with my Mach 3 sensitive blades, that I have, to see what kind of shave I’ll get from the twisting and pivoting motions of that cartridge handle. Can’t wait to try it out!
Wow Tony. You used the Gillette sensor excel and the Gillette Foamy regular, all you need is the Gillette gel aftershave and you have the most 90s shave
Nothing compares to the vintage Gillettes such as the Superspeeds, 195 Adjustable (known as the Fatboy), Slim adjustable, Trac II and Atra, to the Sensor and Mach 3!! They just used basic principles with quality workmanship! Live for you to review one of these razors!!
@@averageguytested I just gifted one to Mark Szorady! Catch his video from two weeks ago. The Slim Adjustables are plentiful and are actually very reasonable in price on Ebay!
Another great video, OneBlade still irreplaceable, your comment on kids delighted me, you are a good man and a great dad, I am proud to be following your channel!
In my opinion, the Harry's is better!! Smoother shave and less cost to the blades. The Harry's has a flex hinge instead of just a standard pivot. Hope it works out for you! You can also get a trial version on the website that includes their shave gel.
You have been testing several different trademarks of Shavers.. I would love to know your point of view on which is so far the best shaving product you have reviewed since the beginning.. I'm always looking for a better shave
Excel - because it has a rubber guide instead of the plastic. I like the feel of it better because it drags slightly. The difference between the two is negligible tho - so my advice is to get whichever carts are available!
If your commited to a clean shave would the norelco body shaver be even better if you have the money for it? It looks like it has the somethingg like one blade trimmers surrounding 1 single foil.
Don't you get irritation if you don't stop after becoming BBS ( baby but smooth) i get touch ups but a whole pass stroking over perfectly smooth skin sounds exssive.
You gotta do a video comparison of the new Gillette Foamy VS the old Gillette Foamy. Gillette changed the scent on the new cans. I think it goes better with their Aftershave Gell. But allot of people don't like it.
@@tomaszwars it's even that bad lol. I can't believe how much people exaggerate this, it's not super strong, it doesn't linger, it doesn't give you headaches lol.
Hi my friend from Australia love your awesome videos did you do the video with the Nivea men stubble shave gel and balm I didn’t see it and I use fusion proglide blades there the best take care from Australia

I know I've said this before but that Gillette Sensor was the best razor Gillette ever made. Thanks for the video Tony
I agree!

#truth
Is the aftershave from the 90s the same as that little blue/green bottle of Gillette after shave gel? Or did they change it?

Is there a difference between the Gillette foam and the Gillette foamy sensitive? Thanks
Yes, the ingredients on the sensitive are milder and less fragrant.
Just got my sensor today, my new favorite cartridge razor.
Awesome! Enjoy!
So what do you fully think of the Gillette foamy??? Good? Better than Barbasol original?
I think it’s too much foam - I think I prefer Barbasol!
@@averageguytested thank you sir! I’m 20 yrs old and still learning shit about proper shaving haha
Harry's is the best shave I've ever gotten wow I'm truly impressed A+ 🖒's up for razor's made in Germany!

Picked up a Harry's razor today because they stopped carrying my blade cartridges for the hydro sense energize wondering how good it is

Dan Hann!
Which is better? Gillette or Nivea?
Gillette
You have been testing several different trademarks of Shavers.. I would love to know your point of view on which is so far the best shaving product you have reviewed since the beginning.. I'm always looking for a better shave
I keep coming back to Gillette for the cartridge shave. Loving the DE Safety Razors tho.
Roughly how many shaves can you get out of one Gillette sensor cartridge?
Good question- I believe they list it at 15 shaves, but I used to try to get as many shaves as possible because of the cost.
Which razor do you thinks better the sensor original or the excel. Thanks
Excel - because it has a rubber guide instead of the plastic. I like the feel of it better because it drags slightly. The difference between the two is negligible tho - so my advice is to get whichever carts are available!

That’s a good question. I should try it.
I really love the sensor razor. Ive been using it next to my Mach3 Turbo.
👍🏽🪒both great choices!
Gillette Foam feels better on your skin
Do you like gillette sensor 2 and sensor 3?
I do.
Tony would you agree Gillette Foamy Regular has the Old Spice fragrance?
Interesting- let me check
Hey Tony, was wondering if you could do another full face Gillette sensor excel with Gillette foamy regular shave again for your next video
Ok
Given up multi blade razors in favour of d e razors you recently reviewed the twig razor you gave it the thumbs up single edge but still good?
I’ve the TWIG!
Have you tried the Sensor 3 Disposables? Best disposable razors ever. I picked up a pack of 8 for $8 at Walmart
Haven’t tried them in a while, but I have tried the Sensor 3 carts for the Sensor handle.
I agree, it’s hard to beat Gillette sensor 3 disposable. Best disposable I’ve ever used
Where can I get one??👀
GET GILLETTE SENSOR RAZOR: amzn.to/2I5xBVR
Keep that Nivea aftershave balm in the refrigerator a you will be delightfuly surprised next time you use it 😊
I’ll try it 👋🏽
what do u perfer sensor exel or harrys ??
Good question. Harry’s
@@averageguytested i never tried the harrys , but i really like the sensor !!

True, it’s like an OCD
put a bowl in the sink and you won't have to run the faucet, also de blades can be 10 cents each and give you 3 or more shaves
👍🏽

New scent is f*ck*d up. People who change the classic scent should go to jail.

I haven’t used the new NIVEA stubble products yet - I will for the next shave.
I prefer gels am I wierd?
No - gels work great! Since I do reviews I need to vary what I use.
The older sensor looks like a really good razor to bad you can't find them on Amazon you can only find the New sensors.
Agreed. eBay
@@averageguytested you should do a comparison new sensor vs old sensor.
