I'm currently looking for an active sub to my car, to increase the depth of the bass further, as well as a light overall bass volume increase - so nothing loud really. Is this bass good in reproducing the deep bass on moderate bass levels? I'm thinking below 40Hz.
steffeeH You have same story like me. I wanted active sub for my car because it have 8 speakers and I want to complete this sound system.

Hello, how did you get remote out connection to alpine swe 815 from rcd510. Remote out connection that which have a blue white cabeling?
If it helps, I have a kenwood head unit and I used red cables which was remote power
Hi! How did u make the rca connections or how did u actually connected it to the media unit?
It connects to the existing installation of speakers what you have in your car.
New is just the plus or currents you have to get for it, I took it from a lighter in trunk, the mass connects where do you want on car chassis. Best!
@@AvrFreak2 Hi. I just bought this for my 08 Passatm I have the same unit as you . You just mounted to car speakers ? You didn't need any additional wires or RCA ? Cheers.
@@superiro I got better results with RCA especially with stock speakers, the bass wasn’t clear and came out distorted

Bushido78 Yes, just follow instructions with subwoofer, if you dont have it I will send you on email. Remote cont. and plus just connect to fire socket in trunk, minus on the chassi of car. Speaker wires are in the door. ;)

Hello there! The sound quality seems nice. 1 question though, is it easy to remove in case I need to have more cargo space? It seems to be connected by only a couple of cables.

Claudiu Gabriel Hello. Yes, it was very easy to remove sub if you need more space. He is not big but two wires on him is very easy to plug in/off. Thanks! Best

If anyone is here looking to this subwoofer, of you want to plug the sub directly into your head unit, you need to buy your own RCA cables.
If you want of you want to splice the sub into the speaker wires, the necessary cables are included

Alex Hi Alex. Everything is ok with video, do you have problems with internet connection? I start play on pc/tablet/mobile and its working.
@@AvrFreak2 hey, no. My internet is fine, I have tried also on wi-fi. Same on my friend's phone. Perhaps you can view it because it's your upload ?

Alex I dont know what is problem, never mind, not my fault :)
My car is mk6 2010, that is all same.. only difficult is, you must have speakers in rear doors for connection. If you dont have you need only 2m long cables to front speakers.
Yt have video for connect that type of sub, just search ;)
Hey again. How did you pass the power cable from the inside of the car to the battery ? I literally no options, I'm stuck here.
And also, wich cable did you connect the remote wire to ? Thank you in advance.
