Great video! I've changed hotkeys, so F1-F8 is top row and 1-8 is middle row. I find it easier to remember and more convenient for compact setups. Then Alt+F1-F8 overheat top and Alt+1-8 overheat mid modules.

So I just started trying to multibox and now it says every account has to have omega? That seems insane to me. If there is no work around for that restriction this game remains to be unplayable.
You HAVE to have omega accounts to run more than one. Alpha is the trial tier and can only have one account run on a computer at a time. Feel free to check out my ratting videos, i multibox in them, this video was for setting up your clients to efficiently multibox
@@jre353seriesenjoyer4 I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. All my characters are on Omega time but I can only log into one at a time. Nothing let's me open up another instance of my client to log into one of the other 3 characters.
@@prodev4012 if I were to pay for eve I wouldn't pay the $20 a month for a toon. I'd buy bigger packs for more time to get reductions in the monthly cost. You can also buy those bigger month bundles or year bundles when CCP does their yearly huge sales and get the cost down to just under $9 a month per account. For those people that multibox yes we pay more for all those accounts. For myself, they are Omega'd for years to come from my 1M SP link . As an eve partner I get the main sub for free, some plex which can be used for an alt omega . But again my 1M SP link dominates those benefits and is the reason all 3 of my accounts are Omega'd.
are you going to haul my ore to the station every five minutes? Maybe you'd like to sit stationary in orca while boosting my hulk? That's why we have alts, because they do the jobs people don't want to do...
For a game that has insane downtime I see no problem using multiple accounts to double your profit. Hell I'm still afk half the time with 3 accounts lmao

useful, but so dumb. Multi-boxing is a good way to cheat in the grey zone since Eve developers gets a ton of cash from people multi-boxing multiple accounts. Omega must cost a fortune every month.
As someone whos relatively new to the game. The more I play the more I realize how weird this community is. As someone getting into multiboxing it really does feel like cheating. I can do 2x the amount of any other player because i have the extra money/time. It turns a game that normally cant really be played solo playable. it changes the game completely. the only reason why its still in the game is those people with 10 accounts are 80% of ccps income. The craziest take that I’ve seen from this community tho is people saying stream sniping is ok and valid.
Destroyed eve? 😂 you know back in the day you could just use input broadcasts and have 100 accounts all do the same thing? This actually requires skill and coordination to do anything with multiple accounts.

yup. Only downside is i find i end up tunnel visioning and ignoring the other accounts. I have 4 monitors yet i choose to eve preview and play on one.

nope. alpha cannot run multiple client instances. omega can run as many accounts as you'd like
