@@phunkornope thank you. I really should have known that, I've sung arrangements of the chorale and played the Bach organ version for lessons. My memory needs some work lol
This superb instrument and your playing are evoking emotions I never knew I was capable of. Ironically, Covid has given me the time to make a serious study of the accordion and I am getting my 1950's Fratelli Crosio out of its box again. Thank you!
@John Texas I don't know who Mike is and I'm not that interested. Just asking if perhaps she had a channel that she uploaded her accordion performances to. That's all.
You can't replicate the sound today. The 60's masters where to reed design as the stain-glassed artists on the middle to cathedral window design. Can't be replicated. But the accordion is an acquired taste in music and its hard to hear the beauty on the first go-round.
3:07-4:36 Dark eyes
4:37-5:40 Mother's Journey Yann Tiersen
5:40-6:43 Godfather waltz
6:43-7:05 sample
7:05-8:23 La Ptit Bal de la Marine
8:23-9:04 ????
9:05- 10:17 Edith Piaf La Foule
You're welcome
8:23 is a baroque or classical piece I can't remember what it is though, but it's by a main canon composer, like Bach, Mozart or Beethoven.
It's Bach: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 645, "Sleepers, Awake"
