Love this- the length is perfect. If you’re producing a video for a company that wants to be elusive about the details Of the actual product - and at the same time get the word out to spark the interest of the customer demographic - what would your general advice be? More testimonial based content ? Looking forward to the next video!!
I actually think that being elusive about the details is a good thing, because too many people get bogged down in the details! I think the formula would be the same -- focus on their problem, really build up that gap of what they are missing and then focus on the OUTCOME that the customers will get from the product. Just needs to be enough to spike interest and get them to take the call the action. : )

I've been working a lot doing brand and touch-point management, packaging and web related tasks for many small companies mainly in Sicily (Italy) and lately I've been trying to add "video" services to my business offering. I'm actually starting to shoot some stuff at my expenses with some clients that allow me to start creating a video portfolio, win-win situation, but if I don't do this the right way it might backfire on me. I can just honestly say that after watching your videos all this "me-creating.video-content" stuff seems a little bit more probable. Thanks for that. I would really like to see a video (or video series) of how you approach a project (from the start until the publishing of the video)... I think I would be willing to pay for a guide like that... ;-) One of the most significant series that inspired me to dig deeper in the video world (as a business) was the Envato "Producing Great Video" course on tuts+ (it's from 2012 but it is amazing even today) I think that a "branding/marketing video" version of that, made by you, would be very nice. Honestly I'm really thankful for the video, it was really helpful... Well I'm more of an editor and motion graphics person, so sometimes when a client gives me a project to do and leaves the scripting to me, i really find it hard to do. I don't have a product, I'm a Realtor, so I guess I'm service based. Great tips on staging the scenario of helping a client with a friend. Past clients usually allow a photo and will happly write a review, but I have never gotten one to agree to let me take a video!
Have you tried to get them on video? I bet if you made it easy for them then they would take action! Check out my video on how to get your clients to record a testimonial for you!
