BEST ONE YET! So often when I'm filming a testimonial the customer will ramble on because they are only asked "what they think" about the product and not specific follow up questions. This becomes such a nightmare in editing! But when they're given specific questions like the ones you suggest it allows them to really nail them in a concise and powerful way. LOVE the step by steps you give here and looking forward to the next one!
Amanda, I love your content and am enjoying watching you and your RUclips Channel EVOLVE! These points about fabulous and I'm glad you pointed out the fact that customers actually WANT to provide the testimonials even though business owners are reluctant. And B role is their friend too!
These are some really great ideas for filming testimonials. I think testimonials do go a long way in terms of building trust and credibility. Thanks for a great video, cheers!
Really like the ideas. Once again, thank you very much for sharing. I have no idea, how people miss such wonderful content and spend huge time on rubbish things.
Yes! Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve seen testimonials on site but never truly understood the value of having it until now. This is such a great topic.
yay! glad it added value -- check back next week where I'll upload a video that speaks directly to your customers and gets them to record a video for you (on their iphone) :D
Thanks for sharing this framework for testimonials! Do you suggest sharing the interview questions in advance with the customers for them to be prepared for the video shoot? Or do you find that it produces a video that seems too scripted?
Great question! This can be hit or miss. Some people do well with planning ahead and others will have a hard time saying anything that they didn't previously write down. Generally speaking, I think off the cuff (no planning) tends to go better! You'll get authentic and real responses this way.
When you're about to buy a product or service, what would you look for in a testimonial?
Customers' outcomes!
Thanks Ms. Horvath! You give excellent advice and insights which you deliver clearly and effectively. Please keep your videos coming!
I LOVE your background and these super awesome tips on how capture great testimonials for your website. Great stuff!

Oh. And I LOVE the "how would YOU explain..." remark. Very key!
It's soooooo key! Your clients have a way of hitting points that you never even think of!
