- How to turn an ordinary adventure ride into one that is truely memorable.
The secret... Get off those main trails. Join me as I attempt to spice up this adventure ride.
Luke and Aaron were on this ride, checkout their channels for more CRF300 videos:

Go the DR 👍
Nice riding Sean
Thanks Con. That DR was a beast, in a good way, and was ridden very well.
Very nice!
Thanks mate, it was a fun detour.
That trail was awesome!
Thanks Bill, it's one of my new favourite trails now.
Trust you to spice it up! Can't wait for our outback ride!
Yes, the countdown is on... only 120 sick days off work until we head for the outback!
Saw all you guys at maccas this morning!
Yeah, the start of any good ride always has a Maccas pit stop.
That's a Spicy Meatball!
Haha.... Thanks mate
Great ride.
Thanks mate.
Great video. Amazing little tracks. Much more fun and safer then going flat out on the transport sections to try to get the adrenaline going
Thanks Tony, and that's a great point. I am always worried on those main trails that some idiot will come flying around a corner in his massive 4WD. I've had it happen to me a few times.
I'm so envious of you guys!
Hi Brad, thanks for your comment. Hopefully you are also entertained... thanks for watching.
Thanks Sean for the memories. Look forward to another outing. Our continued ride can be seen here ruclips.net/video/0rq_uz_2kLg/видео.html
Great, can't wait to see how the rest of your ride went.
Pretty sure I delivered the mobile phone antennas and racks/backup batteries etc to that mobile phone tower at the top of that mountain years ago.
That's cool. It would have been a good day at work that day.
What mods had been done to the 300L mate? It looks and sounds awesome.
Hi Keith, That's Aarons 300L, it sure does look and sound sweet. Check out his channel for all the info: @aarong-muppetstyle7241
Everyone should add a shonky detour to their adventure rides ;-)
Exactly!
I dunno, can't help but wonder if some of those people agreed to do the ride based on the original plan.
I did seek and was granted approval for the detour. Those that need assistance were helped and everyone got to their destination. But, I can understand your concern.
To be fair to this group of riders, we actually planned to set up camp first then go explore some trails in the area. The Shonky detour was good though and we all managed.
What tire size are you running on the front of the 300L’s?
90/100-21
@@ShonkyProductions Thank you so much for the quick reply!! Do you feel as those they are too much mass for the 300? Or do you like them? I’m running a 90/90 and and ride a lot of sand and mix enduro. I think I’d like a fatter front.
@@Matt-zn4zp I like them. I think the fatter front tyre helps a lot in sand.
Most enjoyable Shonks. 125 views as I write and only two comments and 14 thumbs up. I can't figure it out. If you like a video it doesn't take much effort to click the thumbs up. You can't tell me out of 125 views only 14 clicked the thumbs up and the rest didn't like it, or were indifferent. My research shows the majority that like a video never click the thumbs up, it is what it is. There would be a high percentage of the 125 views that are regulars and are subscribed and they wouldn't be if they didn't enjoy your vids, so get off your asses people and give some moral support if you like it.
Thanks mate, I'll have to appoint you as my Chief Marketing Officer 👍
@@ShonkyProductions Would that mean I'd have ro ride a 300...lol
@@kiwiadventurer Haha... No, I make exceptions!
You will have to push me up hills and pull me out of bog holes (All edited out of the final video of coarse)
What, no DRZ?
No...Sorry, I'm missing a DRZ from my riding friends
