George Christie must have been a very dangerous man, it's one thing to be a tough guy there's plenty of them but when you listen to George you realize how smart he is and everything is calculated.
I grew up just a few blocks from the Oakland club. My dad was the clubs jeweler in the 60's and 70's and I've been one of the club jewelers for 40 years. Cisco was like family to me, he always treated us with respect and he gave my mom the dignity she deserved. What this guy doesn't tell you is that Cisco told the same jokes over and over, sure he was funny but when Cisco was angry he was fucking terrifying. Cisco was always fair, especially when it came to some kind of beef, he would listen to both sides (I know, I was involved in one with him). Cisco may have been the most physically imposing member the HA's ever had which makes his willingness to be fair with everyone even more solid. I knew him like family and he treated me like family. I was there at the end but I prefer not to remember that. He'll always be Cisco with the same lame jokes and he will always be family. Rod the Jeweler~
Thank you for doing this one George. I knew Cisco and he was an admirable man you couldn’t help but respect and look up to - literally. He was the epitome of a modern day Viking and a true Hells Angel who stood tall as a tree and was as solid as one too. He was like the father I always wanted. You’re like the cool uncle I wish I’d had too. I love sitting around listening to you talk about your amazing past and these many men you called your brothers. 😎 🙏 Many well wishes to you and yours.
It's interesting to hear ANY stories about the old days. That was the best time to ride as far as im concerned. I still ride but things are definitely different now.
It’s what you make it I guess. Organise things yourself. We’re a small group, no official mc, doing small motorcycle friendly campings, parties at small clubs, runs and still have a whale of a time.
thanx for sharing, Cisco seemed like a stand up dude n someone near n dear to you n a lot of others some people are special people and were just happy to have once been a part of their life
I have read your book Exile and although i have never been a biker i found it interesting and exciting God Bless you George and your family from England.
I personally think and have been following you in ez from 76 from what I can see is you were honest Respect right there never Ratted on your brothers and until this day your personal experiences no one else but you know George your a true 1% er met ya in Brooklyn yrs ago 76 ? Or so your a righteous brother and am gald to call you both abrother and friends...enjoy your life now you deserve it and your beautiful gal...from WNC your brother..
In San Jose California my mom and her friend redhead Kathy always had H.A.ś around them, I was just a kid, But if we were in reading they were around us, If we were in san jose, They were around us, my first memory of The hell's angels they gave my sister and me a ride on a trike to 7 eleven to get slurpees With a bunch of other H.A.s, I lived in Redding in my 20s with Lonnie a H.A. and his family for awhile, great people. I went up to Mount Shasta and harvested an indoor grow 4 a H.A, It was way out in the woods. The guy was in a wheelchair and had his cut hanging on the wall, Yeah it's a nice little blonde Lady answer the door. They treated us really well for harvesting
My father was very close with Cisco among others. Big Al Perry, Irish, Blair Guthrie, Kenny Owen, Pie, Sonny, Sergey Walton who I'm named after. That's just a few that I remember. Been so long since that time in my life. Looking back on my childhood I'm thankful I grew up with the club. It was very unique way to grow up. Although I can honestly say I don't miss it. You mentioned many people I remember. R.I.P. dad and all the rest of the OG's that have passed. I know you guys are still raising hell wherever you are.
Can you do a sit down with peewee and discuss how the club changed over the years from brother hood to politics it would be interesting to hear both your views
I'm from Oakland i remember cisco great story I'm not a biker just growing up in Oakland you would hear their name. on high street one of our buddies stepdad was monk 1969 1970
Hey George great stuff watch it when I get the chance. Do you have any stories about Skip Workman? Love to hear about them when you get time. Love from Little Rock Arkansas.
Little Rock here, too. Skip was awesome, that PBS show w/ Hunter S. Thompson when Skip rides onto the set and berates HST over the promised keg of beer is legendary.
*_Little Joe was awesome. He had a customized HA leather vest made for me. I wanted side lacing on my vest and he had it done. Only HAL vest ever with side lacing._* 👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣

Hey George.......some history on Fu and Deacon starting their own production company would be cool. And of coarse the story of how they got Johnny Paycheck to play there (sober) is a good one that folks would probably enjoy. MLHR... ... ...
Mr. Christie , thank you for all the content I find it fascinating. I wanted to ask if you would consider a request. I just watched your video about Cisco. I cannot tell you how much more I personally would appreciate the story if I had a face or photo to accompany your stories . Thank you Bruce
I remember you had mentioned one time that the very first Mongols were upset because they wanted to join 81, and they were denied for being Mexicans. You said HA had Mexican members before that. Are there any stories of first Mexican HA? Thank you
what i heard is the mongols started with bogus angels vests and sonnt shut down the clubs that werent part of a certain meeting in the early 60s. wasnt because they were latino but that makes a good story. the fake sgv club turned into mongols after a known snitch on the run from the angels. the sf angels were latino in the 50s if you get a hold of phill cross, george whethern and sonny all were a part of the early bay area chapters so they have a 20 year head start on george as far as norcal history. the early days of socal chapters is interesting because all tye areas mongols are in were angels in the early 60s. hollywood, downey, long beach, venice and san pedro all flipped over sonnys 50s mile rule that the vagos and mongols didnt have to observe so places like sgv or any where closer than 50 miles to la like pomona or chino got left out but i dont think the 50 mile rule is observed so the main reason people join other clubs is because angels arent super eager to take any one. i have seen mongols and vagos recruiting from youtube comments and handing out bikes to homeless gang drop outs if they woumd be crash dummies.
I’ve noticed people like to hold HA in good lighting and patches get respect more than the man wearing them deserve. I think the mongols would established as a club regardless of any racial restrictions of the HA. These guys are outlaws not Boy Scouts with hurt feelings.
Let’s see if this comment/REPLY gets removed..?? If George is the one removing comments off his channel that’s pretty unoutlawish thing to do George but I have enough respect to give you the benefit of the doubt. Why is it that my REPLY got flagged anyway too soft I guess silence the truth real American.

Good content George I really enjoyed this. Can you talk some about what you knew of some of the Midwest clubs. I know we talked a little about a year ago of the El Forastero MC from Sioux City Iowa. I remember David Mann did some stuff for you. Also the joint club house with the Galloping Goose MC.
How about some stories about Bandit, Keith Ball. Read a number of his books and met him in Scottsdale at EasyRiders/ Billet Bar once and spoke with him. Cool dude
can you tell the story of the hells henchmen in illinois patching over to the h.a. and the death of a lost friend monte mathias at the hands of the outlaws.
I remember the 60 minutes interview when Wallace tripped Cisco up about some list of rules and you came to his defense and did your best to bail him out.
Hello George - did you ever have any interaction with Easy Riders magazine or David Mann? Could you post some old school bike porn? Would you be able to show any of the bikes that were associated with any famous members?? Thanks again for all your stories.

As a kid I worked at Park Blvd. Shell near 18th, Cisco came in frequently, cool dude, had a big rock in his back yard so you could dive into the pool.
