Here in Texas, about to start IVF. We were initially told it would be about $23,000 for retrieval, meds, and first transfer. Insurance was no help on the procedures, but our pharmacy through insurance was able to provide medications for just $224! We also found a bundle package available from a third party to get the cost of procedures down to $14,000. So, for us, it looks like our cost will be $14,224.

Late to the party lol. My wife and I tried IUI in March of this year. My insurance lifetime max was 15k, she did the trigger shot which out of pocket was $60 bucks. And the pills she had to take prior to the trigger shot I believe was less then $100.
An we got it on the first try 👏. Our daughter with gods blessing will be here in year Dec 2021.

I just stumbled onto your channel after searching for videos on IVF! Husband and I have been trying for a year and a half and are speaking with an RE today (via video conference, thanks Coronavirus). We will most likely try a couple rounds of IUI first, then if that doesn’t work we will go onto IVF. I found out yesterday that I actually have really great insurance coverage for infertility (Illinois requires infertility coverage for group health insurance). 2k deductible, insurance pays 80% after that. 4K max out of pocket and then 100% coverage. We can do as many IUIs as we want and up to 4 IVF cycles A YEAR. Feeling very hopeful and it’s been nice for me to binge watch your story ❤️

We paid $12,600 for 6 donor eggs, $286.00 meds, $1500.00 Blood work and ultra sounds, $100.00 Parking garage fees, $800.00 Era Biopsy to the lab which by the way was so painful I could barely walk. Then the ERA Cycle was an extra $750.00 to the clinic. Then paid $750.00 for Hysteroscopy, $150.00 Semen Analysis, $500.00 for the office visits. We also had genetic panel ran and that was $200.00. Then STD/STI blood work cost me $385.00. After all tests came back great we were finally excited to get started with the mock cycle. Unfortunately my heart couldn't take the injections. I started having severe heart palpitations. We have been trying to have a baby for 21 years now and looks like i will just keep praying . Because IVF isn't an option for me anymore. But God bless you on your little miracle.

For us... We never had insurance that would cover IUI or IVF until last year. So, we paid for most testing and 2 IUI's completely out of pocket. We've worked with 2 fertility clinics, both of which require HSG's and SIS's to be repeated every 12 months. Here's what we've spent so far:
$1,400- genetic testing husband and me
    $800- karyotyping husband and me
    $2,400- two HSG's
$2,400- three saline sonogram and mock embryo transfers
    $3,600- consultations
    $1,800- IUI number 1
    $400- meds for it
    $1,800- IUI two
    $400- meds for it
    $8,000- IVF #1
    S3,700- meds for IVF #1
    $3,600- FET #1
    $350- meds for FET #1
And we just paid $11,500 for a bulk discount rate for one FET attemptnper remaining frozen embryo. (We have 8 left.) Also, we'll be paying $4,500 for PGS on Friday. So that's...
    Grand total: $33,850.
Ironically, we chose to go this route vs adoption because the number of $30-$50,000 for adoption seemed insurmountable and we thought we'd never afford it. I kick myself now.
My 3rd embryo transfer is next month. Hoping and praying it works!

5 back back-to-back ivf's with insurance...I've spent 32,000 so far in the state of MD. Most of it was spent on meds since they are cash pay at this point because I reached my max on prescription coverage on my first round of ivf. FYI: If you are strictly cash pay, one ivf cycle will run just over 30,000.

My wife has had egg extraction also free and out of 14 eggs 9 are fertilised. Waiting on results now they are doing genetic analysis on the embryos. NHS funds 3 rounds of IVF for nothing. Thanks for sharing. We do have some IVF coverage, but it’s $5000 which will cover either prescriptions or procedures and not both, so we will be paying for all of our medications out of pocket and our frozen embryo transfer will cost us $4000 plus medications (IF we have embryos to transfer, which my doctor wanted to be clear wasn’t a guarantee.)
The doctor is cutting us a deal and accepting $5000 from us, plus donating $1000 worth of medication, so we’re hoping the retrieval and deprogramming will not cost us much more than that, but I’m not sure.
We are debt free and are trying our hardest not to incur any debts to make a baby. We shall see.

Interesting. I'm in Ontario, Canada. The fertility testing included blood work for me and my husband, an initial transvag. ultrasound, HSG, and tracking my cycle for one month (going in every two days starting with period starting until eggs released) and all of that was covered by UHC. We've paid $8500 CAD for IVF (cycle tracking, procedures, storing sperm 3 months, counselling and coordinator) but that doesn't include ANY medications and we haven't paid for sperm yet. Fortunately our workplace benefits cover fertility medications at 80%.
We'll start our cycle in February and I'll know more about the costs. During the cycle we tracked I had 15 eggs and very good lining. Unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with azoospermia, so we don't get to use his sperm. Still, I'm trying to be optimistic. We lost our youngest child last year to cancer. I've had 3 children while using different forms of birth control in my 20's. This time, I'm actually trying pregnant, if my body could play nice we'd really appreciate that.

@@suelragusa9380 Serbia, but you have to have Serbian citizenship. Other european countries often provide free IVF for their citizens because europe has falling birthrate. Also, it's under general healthcare, so I think that's why it's free

Most clinics do require it unless you are using some sort of loan or financing through them.

karisa poole she probably went to Utah Fertility Clinic- I asked about who her OB was and She only told me they weren’t taking new patients 😂😂😂 it’s obvious that she wants to keep it hush- hush someone else contacted me after my comment and told me she doesn’t like sharing that kind of information- they said she was afraid of people stalking her 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😉😜 so weird- so I stopped asking questions-

@@lilithssilvermoon3208 it would be silly of her to share her private information. She’s shared enough. Practice gratitude instead of being passive aggressive.
