    You are so lucky to get so many embryos! We have tried for 11 years, I am now 40 and in our last two rounds of IVF we only got one embryo. My eggs are poor quality, I have only one ovary and endometriosis so my chances are so so slim.

      Good luck!! Try to get in the best positive head space you can! It's an emotional roller coaster and the added hormones don't help. I would look into ERA and talk to your dr about it. If you are able to get one embryo you want to make sure you are giving it the best chance for success. Lots of love and luck to you!

    My congratulations to you, dear! I just had my 3rd failed IVF... I really hoped this last one will be successful. Everything was great! Even my dr told me that chances to gp are high. All bloodwork even AMH came back GREAT! Because of that he said he had no problem trying with my own eggs. Don't understand why failure again... Well, actually I think it's because of my age. I'm 45, will turn 46 soon. I'm too old to try with my own eggs... I should be realistic. The chances for a successful pregnancy in 45 years old using own eggs are only 1.2%... It breaks my heart. But I'm not going to give up! I'm thinking about mitochondria donation. The treatment is new but it's definitely a breakthrough in reproductive medicine. I think I fit perfectly... 40+, multiple failed IVFs, wants to become a mother more than anything else!

      I'm so sorry for your heartbreak. Keeping hope is important but very difficult. That's exciting there is a new treatment. If you watch my videos the best chance of success for me was doing IVF with PGS and ERA test. Good luck and sending you lots of love!!!

    Will start my Stimulation injection from 8th of September

    Am trying everything but not working
    Also my mum is battling with cancer at e moment and I think that has added soo much anxiety
    Pls any tips for me... Wanna have a successful ivf
    Cus it took all our savings...pls help🙏😥

    • @magicalmomlaura
      @magicalmomlaura  5 лет назад +2

      I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I dealt with a lot of anxiety during my infertility and then my mom was also sick with cancer. I know what you are going through. The only thing I can tell you is what worked for me. Try your best to get your anxiety under control or find coping mechanisms to deal with it better because you are about to be on a lot of hormones that will mess with your head! I did IVF with PGS tested embryos and then I did the ERA test and learned I was a day later for my implantation window. Those 3 things gave me the highest chance of delivering our beautiful girl. I hope that helps and I wish you the best in your IVF journey. It's difficult but it is also such a blessing that the brilliant doctors and nurses can help us create a beautiful baby! Sending you love and hope!

    Hi Laura, congrats to you. So happy for you. Since you needed an extra day of progesterone what did they have you take the first day? Thanks

    • @magicalmomlaura
      @magicalmomlaura  6 лет назад

      Thank you Michelle. They just gave me more progesterone since my protocol called for more progesterone until my window of implantation. As I understand it progesterone gets your lining ready for the embryo to implant and the ERA test determines how much progesterone that is.

    • @michelleh.8268
      @michelleh.8268 6 лет назад

      Thank you Laura. I also needed an extra day of progesterone. They only started me with the oil the first day. Then they added gel the 2nd day. So i was wondering how much progesterone they started you with. My transfer is Thursday. I'm really nervous since this will be my 5th try and last embroyo. Thanks for replying. ☺

    • @magicalmomlaura
      @magicalmomlaura  6 лет назад

      Wow, 5th try. Is this the first one with the adjusted progesterone? I didn't use any gel. It was just delestrogen and then the timed progesterone in oil. I will look to see how many hours they increased it and get back to you.

    • @magicalmomlaura
      @magicalmomlaura  6 лет назад

      Michelle I looked it up. My first transfer was at 108 hrs of progesterone and my successful/2nd transfer was at 144 hrs of progesterone. It was 108 and they added 24 hrs and a 12 hr buffer for 144.

      I am currently 37, but will turn 38 in a few months. Our dr said we could go for a simple ivf, without pgs. I got pregnant on the 1st try, but miscarried on week 8.
