Omg! IVF is indeed a very expensive procedure. Good luck to you guys. I hope in the future everything goes fine as well. I hope the very best of luck to you as well. Do keep us updated
Yes, IVF is expensive, but it’s all worth it. Our insurance doesn’t covers anything about IVF bills. It’s all from our pockets. We have IVF FLORIDA and they’re awesome! Genetic testing this week. Our FET will be on February 26. Good luck guys!
There is a cheaper alternative is to do an IVF cycle if you search for a very good health insurance that covers Fertility you would be paying a lot less I am on my first cycle of IVF I have my transfer tomorrow which I’m so excited about and for cost we probably only spent about $4000 and that was for the medication because I had to meet my $2000 deductible for my insurance and now everything that I do is covered in full so I didn’t have to pay for my egg retrieval I also didn’t have to pay for blood work and I’ll just sound the thousand times I went in LOL I also am not paying for the transfer and since I made my deductible for the year the only thing I’m going to be paying is a co-pay which is like $30 when I get the transfer done and if you do end up having to do another cycle because my deductible was paid I will only have to pay a co-pay for the medication and I won’t have to pay out of pocket so getting a good insurance is a definite thing I also didn’t have to pay for blood work and I’ll just sound the thousand times I went in LOL I also am not paying for the transfer and since I made my deductible for the year the only thing I’m going to be paying is a co-pay which is like $30 when I get the transfer done and if you do end up having to do another cycle because my deductible was paid I will only have to pay a co-pay for the medication and I won’t have to pay out-of-pocket so getting a good insurance is definitely something you want when starting an IVf cycle. If you’re wondering where I am from I use Boston IVF and that’s in the United States. Also my insurance covers embryo storage and they paid for the PGS testing I have gotten very lucky with the cost of IVF treatments and I’m very blessed and very thankful to have nine embryos frozen and I will be having the 10th one transferred tomorrow😁😁😁 but I hope all goes well for you guys and you get your rainbow baby
It's expensive in the US. My insurance paid for 60%. That sounds awesome. But it's really not that great. I still ended up paying 6000ish for ER and thousands for meds. Transfer was also like 1k. Plus PGTA testing and freezing embryos. So it still ends up being almost 20k for us. That's why I can only do 1 round. I didn't have a choice in clinic due to insurance.
This was pretty informative. It really costs a lot! However, I think you should look at clinics in Europe. Ukraine more specifically. There are some pretty reasonable and very good clinics there. Wishing you guys all the best!
Oh gosh chealsea i didn't know it was so expensive... here in Holland our insurance pays 3 IVF cycles for each child... gosh that's expensive in the US :(
Marie Paperlover yup. One round of IVF through to egg retrieval and embryo transfer. But if this first transfer isn’t successful then we’ll try again until we run out of embryos. We now have 3 embryos and a transfer will cost around 4K.
Eric and Chelsea thanks for the response .. I’ve just been told my tubes are blocked so IVF is the answer for us , need to start this journey and talk to my doctor about chances .. I’m 35 years old :(

Yes plz tell us about your insurance company?
unless your in a state that mandates coverage it's the 1% that will get any sort of coverage.

The cost of IVF in Turkey is way cheaper. With that money you can do a lot. Have IVF plus travel.
How much its cost?
?
if this doesn't work look into traveling to NY to CNY fertility they are more affordable it's where we are going becaouse of that
This is very helpful...
have you thought of going abroad??? Medical procedures are cheaper in Eastern Europe
Kwakyewaa Ghana yup, we did for a minute but ultimately in the end it wouldn’t have been cheaper for us.
Can I ask what state you are in? Also, if you live in a bigger city? Curious on the price differences per state.
kathy sedam yup! We’re in Utah.
kathy sedam oh and we live in a smaller city.
Now that your entire process is finished, what did you actually end up paying for meds ?
That's a good question. Gonna add that all up and make a video. :)
😮 wow! I hope this works first time. Could you look into traveling abroad?
So over all it costs £11620??
What is your doctors name fertility specialist that you are going too??
What state did you do your ivf
Which insurance do you have?
Maybe go on a vacation to where it’s cheaper
Its around 2 laks or $3000 in India
its 3-4 Lakhs actually...
Is this cost after your insurance pays its part?
Our insurance didn't cover any of the costs.
I need to find an insurance company that pays for IVF 🤔 I love your hubby's response. It was real & I'd pay it if I had to.
unless your in a state that mandates it there isn't really
Go Overseas its cheaper!!
Makes me feel better seeing that’s what you guys paid too. 😂
Thanks for sharing .. is this the price for 1 cycle /1 try ?
