Ik it’s a late reply, but the chopacabra cam doesn’t require a upgraded stall converter, u can leave all the bigger parts stock, except it would be a good recommendation to replace lifters and pushrods just for the sake of it
what lifters? im tryna do a chopacabra, dod delete, trunion, and oil pump on mine. alone w more stuff, i heard you NEED ls6 lifters??@@robertdurham1929
Hey man did u have trouble tuning it just got mine back from the shop and they can’t get it right. Runs and idles great but I’ll be driving and when I slow down it will die
Good hp and tq gains but I do recommend running a higher stall converter. It’s made to “work” with a stock converter but really notice the gains with a higher stall.
Wordd. Definitely worth the investment. From hp increase and maybe performance too, to not a loud exhaust to wake neighbors I likey
