Ray I've found all across Europe they cannot get hold of cylinder mowers and they are looking at our ebay sites. It costs €60 to ship which actually isn't bad. The mowers are loaded into a van, strapped in and wrapped in blankets.
Can you start off , by back lapping with the cylinder fully away from the bottom blade . Or does it need to slightly catch it atleast. If it’s not great weather today , I might having a go 😅
It needs to be slightly touching. The paste then causes an even closer contact. You know it's working because of the noise of the ringing. Then take it a notch closer etc
Good video mate
Thanks buddy 👍
@@mowerboy7914 I'm in the middle of making a back lapping michine.. "the Mick spinner"..
Sounds like a band 🤣

These people must be desperate for British mowers to pay for shipment to Europe. How do you pack them for shipping. 😊

How do wash the paste off the brush? Is it a water based product or would I need something else to clean it.
I just spray with water. But don't often clean the brush as I'm back lapping 3 or 4 times a week
@@mowerboy7914 thank you and that's a lot of back lapping but understandable in your case. :)
