if your key is working, but the electronic push buttons are not, you can actually skip the key cutting and save $50. Just switch the electronic guts from the new key to the old. Then with the working old physical key and new electronic guts, go through the programming steps. it will program the buttons and the key will work. i do recommend having one key fully working and doing this with a second, in case something goes wrong you still have one key.
Went on the site to get the programmer... Then noticed it was a rental. After getting the core back, it's still almost as much as just buying the same programmer on Amazon... So I did that.

Hi, the "Erase All But 1 Existing Key" procedure will delete all keys stored in the vehicle's memory, leaving only the key inserted in the ignition to complete the process.
