  • It was another windy day so instead of taking the kayaks out on the water and being blown around Katie and I decided to just drive down Heckscher Drive and hit up some fishing spots.
Hechscher Drive is a great placed to fish.
There are lots of places to pull over, get out and throw a line in.
If that spot isn't working for you then just keep driving down the road & eventually you'll catch something.
If you enjoyed please like & subscribe.

Simpson creek at the beginning! My pops and I used to kayak fish there all the time when I was a teen and we would bring home some good groceries!

Yes she did; trout are biting really good right now.
Don’t know if you still haven’t caught one but you can go out in the kayak by kayak Amelia, just watch the video before this one where I go out with SlotCityFishing.
Launch and go left or hang around that launch area and you’ll catch trout on those white gulp swimming mullet.

Florida has the rudest boaters I have ever experienced. They don't slow down passing each other in a small creek or bayou (Yes, I'm from Louisiana). It's a custom and law in LA to slow down when passing each other in a small channel. It's also good manners to slow down when passing people who are fishing.
