Another great compilation of beautiful shots of Jax! Great idea on the shore fishing series. Visual-Ly -- come for the fishing, stay for the great vids!
your first location, is my absolute FAVORITE spot in all of jacksonville! and when things are right, its actually s pretty good fishing spot. show up at the beginning of low tide and fish the incoming, usually about 30 minutes after slack, if the tides arent very low, things start to pick up!
Funny I was just out there again a few days before you made this comment. Def a good spot! I may do a second video there soon if I can get a day when the winds are light🙌
Just got back from a day out on Clapboard Creek. 9 reds (1 slot), 1 trout, 1 Jack, 1 strinray, 1 whiting, 1 catfish. Thank you for posting these videos. Your strategy really helped me and my jigging has definitely improved. First red on an artificial lure!

Are there alligator gar in Jacksonville? I’d love to come down and fish Florida for my first time I just don’t know what baits (cut baits) and live baits are primary in the area and what fish are the norm when fishing inland or beach front
There are some around but they won’t mess with you. They’re more scared of us than anything. But if you want to use live bait for fishing inshore here, you’ll be good with live shrimp, mud minnows, or finger mullet. Cut mullet or cut ladyfish are good too

In most of my videos, I’m just using a jighead (weighted hook). Either 3/16oz or 1/4oz. That’s all you need fishing around here in the creeks for reds, trout, and flounder. If going for sheepshead, I don’t use anything more than a 1oz Carolina rig with a 1/0 or 2/0 size hook. As far as corks, just get the Cajun thunder, my favorite on the market.
