Your welcome. FYI you can’t fish that first spot at all; found out it’s a restricted area by the Naval base and you’ll get run off by a gun boat. We figured that out one day 🙁 There’s a few spots that have become restricted areas that’s really sad because they are good fishing spots. If a JSO boat comes along they will take a copy of your ID and warn you and if caught fishing the area again it can be a felony, heavy fines and they will impound your boat. Needless to say I don’t fish those spots any longer.
porgies are great to eat. I moved to Florida from New Jersey and it's the kind of fish many people pay big money on trips to target. If you love the sheepshead then you will love porgies being that a sheepshead is also a kind of porgie.
That was a NICE black drum your friend caught. The other action helped fill the day. Those "porgies" are actually spottail pinfish and are good eating.
That was right around the corner from where we were bottom fishing by the rocks when we went out. I asked when I got back about the spot tail and found out they were good eating. They said remember that spot because sometimes they are hard to find 👍🎣 Next time they are all going in the cooler 🍽 😋

The next time he went out without me he got run off too. We just got lucky that day. I didn’t know we weren’t allowed to fish that spot until the next time we went out on his boat. Definitely a great spot.

Yes we were talking about that too. When we pulled in to the bay it confused us a bit because we were looking for that wooden tower and it was gone.
