I absolutely love that you went to Green Man and that you went to "Dirty Jacks" where the locals hang out. The Green Mansion is nice, but definitely the touristy spot. That is the brewery that made me leave Raleigh, NC and move to the NC mountains (Hendersonville) to begin my homebrew journey with my beautiful wife. Love your videos!!
My favorite city is where I live and favorite brewery is in our backyard. The food ain't bad, either. No Uber required, just a few paces from the door. The price is right.
Northern VA has a ton of breweries but there’s a lot of driving. Tons of variation. Areas like Leesburg will get you 4 or 5 breweries all clumped together walking distance, Haymarket you’ll get 3 or so but there are a ton all around. If you’re willing to drive.
My sister lives there, go there at least once a year. Hit up Aslan, kulshan, Twin Sisters and Boundry Bay. Everyone raved about Boundry Bay but none I had were above average. They were still in that COVID lockdown mentality and AZ was out of that after April 6, 2020. May have affected my opinion. We really like Anthony’s for the fresh seafood, you’re lucky to have that.
In Phoenix, right along the Valley Metro Rail, if you start at Walter Station, then PHX Brewing, Superstition Meadery then HUSS. Then on foot, ~ 2 blocks you can hit State 48. If you take the trolley north, you can hit Greenwood, Pedal Haus and AZ Wilderness, ALL award winning microbreweries.
Solid list! There are a few small cities that are an easy drive from KNOX that you need to hit if you haven't for beer AND food! Nearest...Greenville, SC. Tons of brew pubs, walk (or ride a bike) everywhere, great night life and better than average food. 2) My town! Charleston, SC. You will not eat better anywhere....not anywhere. We have a brewery district by the old naval shipyard. Bring your nice clothes. 3) Most fun by far and definitely the most laid back...Savannah, GA. The entire historic district is a walking party. Breweries and restaurants send you out with drinks to go. Not as many breweries as the other two towns but its gorgeous, warm all year, and perfect for brown baggin your brews.
Hey, fellow Knoxvillan here, but from the Milwaukee area...suggestion to do what would be a fun trip for you do on the cheaper travel.... fly allegiant to Chicago Midway...catch the train (chicago Metro) to The Amtrak and hop skip to Milwaukee. Both Cities on the cheap...Amtrak runs from Downtown Chicago to Downtown Milwaukee. Check it out..no UBER needed and Lots of beers
You need to come to Charlotte CH, only 3ish hours from Knoxville and we have a ton of breweries. We have a few districts that are connected with a train that you can ride back and forth. It’s not the most exciting city in the world but it’s a good time. I work at a brewery out here so let me know!
I live in Savannah and I have seen about a half dozen brewpubs open in the last decade. You could walk or bike to each one if you wanted. Moon River is downtown and is the oldest brewpub in Georgia. I would recommend coming in the fall or winter otherwise you will die straight away from the humidity!!
Walkability is a must! Would have to ditto Nashville after visiting there in the last month. Most sites you want to visit are walkable, but not against the random Uber to connect to a further brewery. Cheers CH! 🍻
Portland Maine is what you get if you built your perfect city in a lab. You gotta make a point of coming out. Some of the most exciting smaller breweries are in the city proper like Lone Pine and Oxbow (tasting room) and then you got all time classics like Allagash and Maine beer company just outside. Very walkable and tons of great food too. It’s not just beer either, they got funky craft seltzers, hard kombucha and stuff like that. Apres is cool as shit
Crashing this party later than my grandpa but you gotta check out Bellingham WA. Skip Seattle but be sure to go in the summer time to skip the college crowd. Or don't, I'm a beer drinker, not a life coach.
I agree that Portland, Maine should be up near the top. Tons of great breweries all within walking distance. It's like a colder Asheville with funnier accents.
That's interesting. I hear it's like tent city over there in west coast Portland. The footage I saw from this looks great and I know they have great beer so I need to go
Hard to believe but Mexicali BC. Uber is $3-$4 with tip if you need it. Beer is cheaper than USA. There were almost 30 microbreweries pre COVID, still about 20 now, SOME within walking distance of each other.
IMO Boston should definitely be on the list. Expensive as hell, sure, but super walkable and both Trillium and Harpoon are pretty great. Drinking along the freedom trail is always a good time
I've been missing your videos as of late. I'm blaming it on YT's algorithm. Fully agree with #1, and as for no state tax, you see what live in Florida as we have no state tax, a nice breeze without owning beachfront property (90% of Florida is extremely flat), and the beach is open year-round. When there aren't girls in skimpy bikinis on the beach due to the weather dropping below 70F we get to make fun of the northerners on the beach with their blinding pale skin. Plus if you ever hear of someone doing something really stupid in the U.S. there's about a 90% chance it happened in Florida...we call that local entertainment.
Come to San Diego, but get dropped off in North Park -- probably 15-20 breweries in a 1 mile radius. Stay away from downtown and ain't nobody got time to go to north county.
Going to Nashville in a month, driving from Southern Ish Ontario. Probably going to shit myself. And will bug the discord about places to visit. Attack Attack is playing while were there, so thats neat I guess. Going to have to bring the best of the best back with us
You can do nyc without ever getting an Uber but you’ll have to defend yourself against at least 8 deranged psychos on the subway. But you will probably have to take an Uber it at least a subway + bus situation to get to nycs best brewery, Finback in Queens.
Gotta visit Toronto🍻🇨🇦 Plenty of breweries, great food and public transit. Lived here for 5 years and never owned a car. You can get everywhere you need on foot.
Another great video. Also had a blast on your live tonight. Last week was supurb pitty its so woke these days would have been no good for your channel to leave that up. Gotta be in to win.

Columbus, OH. Went for a 15 day business trip and hit 18 breweries. Lots of close options downtown. 🍻
How has this turned into an urbanist channel. Love it.
I absolutely love that you went to Green Man and that you went to "Dirty Jacks" where the locals hang out. The Green Mansion is nice, but definitely the touristy spot. I am definitely partial but I love all of the locao breweries in Boise! Bear Island and 10 Barrell are must visits and both close to downtown
This makes me want to travel and drink beer! 🍺😋
Asheville is a hidden gem
Victoria BC Canada, Braj! Hoyne, Driftwood, Lighthouse, Phillips, SOB, Sooke Brewing, etc...
My favorite city is where I live and favorite brewery is in our backyard. The food ain't bad, either. No Uber required, just a few paces from the door. The price is right.
Sacramento, CA is coming up in the brewery towns. Very walkable downtown and midtown area and brewery hoping.
Went to Asheville about a month ago. Pretty amazing place. Definitely going back. And then maybe over to Knoxville
Good stuff. Making me rethink vacationing with the kids and minivan rentals.
Travel up to Grand Rapids, Michigan, the city is awesome and tons of breweries to choose from.
Not sure if exposure to light is good, but the presentation of the sight glass at the tap has cool factor.
Northern VA has a ton of breweries but there’s a lot of driving. Tons of variation. Areas like Leesburg will get you 4 or 5 breweries all clumped together walking distance, Haymarket you’ll get 3 or so but there are a ton all around. If you’re willing to drive.
Dude, you are helpful and funny AF. Love it.
🍻
Asheville, represent!
Bellingham WA, has some of the highest density breweries all within stumbling distance
Structures is one of my favorite breweries of all time
@@budkingston3347 chuckanut deserves a place higher than boundary
@@patrickglaser1560 True. There is a place south of there called La Connor. It some great beer though the service was horrendous.
@budkingston3347 thank you, boundary bay is definitely mid tier. I liked chuckanut cause their lagers are so crisp and clean tasting.

Grand rapids, Michigan is bumpin. Head out here bruv. PROST

Freaking great run down and outside of Portland (never been to either) i agree. Ashevegas is my favorite. Glad rocky top is in there too! Cheers braj
Gotta Check out Brewers Row in Port Moody B.C. 6 breweries in a 5 minute walk or Yeast Van in Vancouver B.C.
Can't agree more on walkability! Besides Asheville, never been to the other four cities so I gotta go!
Thx for watching Steve!
Went out to Vancouver Washington a couple months ago, Holyshit, they had like 8 or 9 breweries with in a mile and a half. We walked to them all LOL
You need to come to Charlotte CH, only 3ish hours from Knoxville and we have a ton of breweries. We have a few districts that are connected with a train that you can ride back and forth. It’s not the most exciting city in the world but it’s a good time. I work at a brewery out here so let me know!
Killer video! You’re totally right about how walk-ability is crucial. I laughed out loud with the Uber driver content 😂
Head up to Victoria B.C. Canada. So much beer and all within a quick walk.
I live in Savannah and I have seen about a half dozen brewpubs open in the last decade. You could walk or bike to each one if you wanted. Moon River is downtown and is the oldest brewpub in Georgia. Cant wait!

Seattle is not a good walking city, however if you are in Ballard you can probably walk to over 20 really good breweries within a mile radius
Second this - stayed in Ballard a few years ago and there were a bunch of breweries that were clustered together

Helsinki is quite nice, welcome;)
That's interesting. I hear it's like tent city over there in west coast Portland. The footage I saw from this looks great and I know they have great beer so I need to go
The place you were curious about in Nashville is called The Tin Roof.
Good looking out braj!
Mmmm - Ballast Point - Love me some Heavy Seas...loved your N'awlins (New Orleans) analysis. Can't wait to xperience Asheville.
Check out Astoria, Oregon and Bend, Oregon. Fort George, Buoy Beer, Deschutes Brewery etc!!
💯
Hitup Milwaukee and Madison. Walkable, great food, dank beer. Drink Wisconsinably
Taking a trip to Knoxville in November.
💯

Come to Maine. I’ll buy you a beer
Love it!
Come to southern Sweden, ill provide shelter. My wife cook some food. We drink craft beer.
Lets do it!
Try Indianapolis. Very walkable once you are downtown.
Can't believe y'all didnt check out Yazoo while in Nashville. The Sue porter is awesome.
Love YeeHaw too. Their dunkel is my favorite beer.
Holy Spirt Airlines, lolz
IMO Boston should definitely be on the list. Expensive as hell, sure, but super walkable and both Trillium and Harpoon are pretty great. Drinking along the freedom trail is always a good time
Visit Europe, walkable cities everywhere! :-)
YES! Great list
0:24 more of that please!

When you coming to Spokane?
Haha my brother lives an hour from Asheville and I still haven’t made it out there yet
Nice packing.

Next time, I will chauffeur you around braj!
Braj, come to Colorado Springs. I'll pay for your uber and we can relish in the sauce

Nice catch!
Midwest is midbest if you’re looking for inexpensive great beer with limited ubering. Also fried cheese and shit.
I always love the shit!
Another great video. Also had a blast on your live tonight. Last week was supurb pitty its so woke these days would have been no good for your channel to leave that up. Gotta be in to win.
