great in depth work mate! Great work.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Great video! :)
good shit dude, AB montage when?
Hi a question, i want to roll priest for tbc arena (i was gladiator s1 as ud priest). Is it worth it to go human for perception to find rogues or is it only good as a rogue player?
It’s still a very good option to be able to find rogues and Druids!
Is it possible to use the hyper vision goggles and then swap for another head gear piece and still have the detection buff ?
From what I’ve read so far and tested on private servers you can’t swap gear in arenas. Not sure if it works in general didn’t test it, but I can try and get back to you!!
The human can also have all the above mentioned stealth gears.
At the end of the day, ull still only have 1 yard
(5 points)advantage over the human or other race with shadowmeld If perception is down.
If the human has goggles ontop of perception, theres no way any race can beat it.
Every rogue in tbc arena runs the masters threads, nightseye panther and subtlety cloak enchant and goggles.
Its only up to racial to make the difference. And only human can make such a huge difference.
I want to play rogue mage in arena and im not sure whats better ud or human.. my mate would be gnome or blood elf as mage. Any advise?
They are both great, if my friends played horde id for sure play UD. Wotf is huuuuge!
12:24 don't understand why night elf still has six yds, because human subtlety more than night elf detection.
So 365 - 356 = 9 and let it equal 1 yds
In conclusion 6 - 1 = 5
Is not it?
have fun getting feared!
one thing you didnt mention is what if the human rogue uses those blue goggles as well to boost his detection? Sure you wouldn't NORMALLY use them, but If Im at 2.1k and I keep meeting a nelf whose outplaying me, thats when I* would bring erm out right? pop them with perception and vanish and get that opener. Idk if they stack, but if they do thats a scenario you havent covered.
Correct! This would boost the detection of the human to 430. The nelf would then need to vanish here also, the human would have a slight advantage (2 yds to the nelfs 1). Assuming you see a Nelf at 2.1k and you keep getting opened on and you have engineering. A VERY specific scenario. You would be giving up a head slot in hopes that you come up against 1 individual Nelf. Also if the human has the GOGGLES + PERCEPTION + PARANOIA...GG Haha. It's hard to cover every scenario and there are more! Good observation!
If you are a good human rogue you don't waste sprint you run in on a mount and dismount near the middle into stealth + perception
@@PB-od3rk ultra aggressive, I like it!
i play dwarf rogue, but if i play human i`ll always use hyper no matter whats the case, its instant guarantee opener + if enemy rogue uses "Stealth increase" and i dont use them = i`ll have higher AP,crit,agility,dodge,armor,detection...??? and if the human rogue plays hyper with warlock ur vanish wont do crap since they actually see inside of it.
I respect it. But sometimes you just represent dwarf ✊🏼 haha
Just to be clear you should always play the race YOU WANT TO PLAY. Which ever looks coolest, has interesting lore, your favourite mount etc. I’m no fan of min maxing at all I just found the topic of stealth levels and subsequently detection levels very interesting. Peace and love everybody.
Human will have Subtlety 383 not 365 , have acces to all items jsut lose +5 from NE
Yo nice video man. I'm lvling an ally on Arugal hmu sometime for TBC "Toxicyo"
Weird to assume the human rogue would not run any stealth items/chants. Seems like cope tbh
Well the only reason to increase your stealth level as a human would be to avoid detection from a night elf rogue, specifically. Seems like a niche thing in itself also. Night elf is the only race who has a subtlety level high enough to compete with humans detection. Other races even with stealth gear still don’t gain an advantage here or come close enough to human detection level. But yeah of course this was just a fun experiment to do. Im sure some rogues will play to specifically counter Night Elf rogues (Who also run stealth builds). Night elf will be one of the most unplayed rogue races (going off current classic and tbc back in the day) and also if they don’t have a niche stealth build like here, detection just wins. So yeah I did kind of assume humans aren’t running stealth items and enchants here cause they really only help beat night elf rogues also running stealth builds but you’re right I’m sure some humans still will.
@@judgetv9773 it turns out you can also fight other human rogues, so seeing them first is important, and reducing the range that they can see you when you both have percept up is also important
@@anthonyz6503 Good point! A little perception on perception action
11:45, i'm sorry but this is way too niche and assumes the human isn't going to also be using stealth boots or the cloak enchant and doesn't count the deathblow goggles, like in a mirror match where you both do the same thing and it's down the racials the human will ALWAYS have the advantage, the only way you get one up on them is if you out sweat them but if they're also a sweaty boi you're gonna always be on the short end of the stick.
Correct. If a human gives up a head slot space, decideds to use level 60 boots, gets a stealth enchant instead of agi AND also has jewel crafting to use a trinket ALL in an attempt to out stelath a night elf which is the least played rogue race in tbc (maybe tied with dwarf) then yeah human will have a slight advantage, since vanishing as a nelf will always have a higher subtlety score. But i never seen a human with this build in tbc and couldn’t find one in any videos. But yeah in that situation where a human uses this build to out detect SPECIFICALLY nelf you are correct kekashi Sensai. 😉
@@judgetv9773 my (dwarf) rogue has had those pieces for months and before I got displacement I was still using the nightscape boots, I use macros to swap between stealth gear(+cats eye) and my openers all swap over to my max damage gear.
I assure you, there others who intend to do the exact same thing in tbc as me and now I'll also have a trinket I can swap in for one more stealth level
@@hizzousekakashi8836 You can swap trinkets in arena? and gear?
@@judgetv9773 outside of combat, sap does not put you in combat
EDIT:I did stop playing late TBC so someone correct me if this was changed in very late TBC but I don't believe it was.
@@judgetv9773 look up the master's treads. Lmao. You don't need level 60 boots. Every good rogue will run stealth cloak and panther and well s1/2.
nothing beats wof that shit is broken forever.
