    I love the fall colors! I know it's early, but the time of baked hard squash and pumpkin pies will soon be on us. The heat wave has finally broken. The wild life is reviving. Yesterday I see a golden eagle jump of a branch and start gliding down the river looking for fish. Today was a humourous one. A hawk went over head and was being pursued by a starling raising all kinds of hell.

      Hi BGL and welcome😘 to my channel. This is the Bloom technique and in the Bloom technique there are three parts, the pillow, the paints mixed with your pouring medium, and the cell activator. The cell activator goes on last because that is what helps create the cells when you blow out the bloom. I suggest you spend a little time, looking at some of my creations to see how I do this the order and which I do things in and if you wanna look at my cell activator recipe, it’s a video 141 that shows how I make it and with what. I also have a video 140 that shows you how I make my pouring medium.
      Can you tell me how you found me? I’m just curious.

    • @LouiseMcKayArt
      @LouiseMcKayArt  2 месяца назад +1

      @@mmills5951 thank you and yes, in the Bloom technique the pillow is equivalent to the basecoat in other techniques. Why can’t you just give us a product name AKC 40 7621 in Rose gold what the hell was that? I don’t know what that is. I don’t know what company that is. I don’t know where to get that, don’t give us information. Maybe you’ve been doing this 25 years but I haven’t and I don’t know where to get this information is vague and I can’t do this if I don’t have the information so what I will do is what I know how to do is go to Dollar General and get cheap ass paint because I can’t find our 273968G4 in, Gothic black or whatever I don’t know what that is I don’t know where to get those you don’t give information

      @@lauriepolden6594 first off, Welcome Laurie and thank you for your feedback! Did you watch the video? Please see my description for more info and watch more videos. I always call out names and brands on paints and numbers for the pillow paint. Best wishes and look again at the thumbnail again, it’s Dollar Tree😀

      Lord use what ever you want you can get the same results with about anything just remember to let it dry completely before you resin because using a pillow paint makes it so thick and moisture will make resin eventually turn yellow

      @@stevewalls5070 hi Steve, I’ve actually made the mistake using incorrect paints and got disasters so I don’t think I can use any old paint that would be nice, but that’s part of the art and the science behind us is having the right ingredients. You are right about the resident, the resident I use though is UV resistant and it holds up much better.

      @@cindiegillson8464 hi Cindie, Once these are resined, they are quite durable. I’ve never done any kind of wear test to see how many times you can open and close, but I would imagine these would last quite a few years with normal usage.

    Louis, How did you get your so shiny? Did you use shiny paint? Also do you seal it later with resin?

      Hi Linda, I thought I responded to this but I use KS resin liquid stone with UV inhibitors and I use it on everything functional art for durability and bling. I have a discount code if you want to try some yourself, it’s the best I have found to use. KS Resin 10% off Discount Code ~ LouiseMcKay10 and Link: bit.ly/3zdg4FQ
