Yeah the Dragonite vs. Lucario argument is strange. Dragonite managed to win against Korrina's Mega Lucario which lost to Bea's Grapploct which Ash's Riolu managed to tie against before even becoming a Lucario itself.
Lucario has Force Palm, Aura Sphere, Reversal and Double Team. All moves that would be pretty ineffective on the pseudo-legend tank that is a Dragon and FLYING type. However, it's the anime so we all know that doesn't mean a darn thing...

And then we have Galarfetch'd, who went toe-to-toe with the strongest Pokemon of an E4 member (Which puts its miles above Lucario at the moment).
Just saying with this that you can't count current regional mons yet, since they can still progress or degress as the writers see fit.
And for all we know, Gengar is his strongest, but gets hindered by plot armor and screentime the others get.
tbh while the anime HAS thrown bs into the media ( prime example being the thunder armor from Advanced ) I think that bringing up the fact that "it is the anime" is irrelevet since a lucario CAN take out a Dragonite and vice versa- with this moveset however it is still possible- just highly unlikely
Poor Torterra never gets any love. I know I'm biased when it comes to ground types, but I like him. I think Gliscor and Donphan are underrated too.

I love Torterra he's my second favourite grass type ash's Torterra had potential but after learning Rock Climb it gave up the slow and steady battle approach which Paul's Torterra showed it and his Torterra only lost 1 battle and that was against Cynthia the champion, Ash decided to forget that training which was dumb Torterra should have beaten Volkners electivire and Paul's Drapion,

Man journeys is really special case. The fact you couldn’t decide his ace properly was because of the screentime this wonderful mons are not being given of. This is outrageous. Each one of this journeys mon have so much potential, yet we didn’t see many battles of them until now. I just hope we will in the future episodes
fully agree- Farfetch'd is JUST now getting wonderful screen time and development which has now made the pokemon itself as one of my favorites. Hopfully Dracovish get's more screen time as well

Yoo man... yeah journeys is a special cae coz all the pokemons caught are fan favourites.. plus strong too.. dragonite beat korrina's mega lucario and mienshaow single handedly.. dracovish beat iris' dragonite.. sirfetch'd beat gallade.. lucario is ash's main journeys pokemon.. gengar is epic and funny... and pikachu is pikachu... tough to choose the strongest

I feel that for Ash’s Kalos team, Goodra was the strongest. It met Ash after getting his land raided by a Florges and various but type Pokémon. He wasn’t very strong but he overcame his fears and finally helped them and Florges get along.
Goodra his strongest. Goodra is one of his weakest mons overall (It couldn't even defeat an already tired Bisharp). His strongest Kalos mon was Talonflame (There isn't even a contest if we look at sheer feats alone)
Talonflame fought in every gym except for Clemont. It didn't go down in a gym without taking at least one mon with it (Except for Grant). He carried Ash through the Valerie and Olympia matches and brought in a hit against a freaking Mega, while being only a Fletchinder. Then i haven't even mentioned it went toe-to-toe with its evolved form (As a Fletchling) and defeated it after evolving into Fletchinder and it went toe-to-toe against Moltres for a while as well.

I feel like Journeys is starting to give more screen time to Ash's other pokemon, so I bet we'll see Dragonite soon. We might even see him again when Iris comes out with her Dragonite.

Damn, the tables have really turned. Now it's:

Well, Lucario was recently hatched from an egg & is still very young. So basically it still has a lot to learn. He had to train until they got better. The same most likely happened when Ash's Dragonite was still a Dratini in the wild & that was obviously off-screen.

Lucario vs Dragonite
Lucario grew as a Riolu under Ash's care when it was an egg. It's grown in battling in knowing both wins and loses. As a Lucario, I expect him to gain some more wins with some minor and even maybe a major loss too.
Dragonite was raised in Dragonite Island where it learned the natural ways of Dragonair and Dragonite. But do we know if Dragonite have battles there? Or is it just in their nature to be powerful flying dragons?
Assuming Dragonite only knows the natural ways of Dragonites and appeared to have no time battling, I can see it being a strong Pokemon while also needing some more training to maintain that power. Not like Outrage dragon types, but rather like Melmetal.
Lucario is more experienced since he's been on the journey with Ash. And with the likely help of Farfetch'd and its other battles, Lucario is definitely strong too. But what makes it shine a bit more is the losses. Sure it sucks to lose but that's how we grow. We learn from that mistake and keep going forward, like Lucario.
While Dragonite is strong in one battle, we'll have to see if it'll get more screen time and battles to see if it wins more or loses. But in my opinion, Lucario would be one of Ash's best Pokemon in Journeys because of its growth through the series.
Correction: if you don't know the best pokemon for X and Y, you must put the milk in before the cereal!

Ngl, Sceptile is one of Ash's coolest pokemon, but he felt kinda underwhelming to me. He didn't win as much as I remembered and lost to frickin Juan's Luvdisc.
Sceptile actually lost more than it won Glalie Swellow and heck even Corphish won more wins than losses
Yeah as a treeko and a grovyle it was pretty average than anything but as a sceptile it barely lost , it defeated a darkrai(remember it used dream eater which means that it was pretty healthy ) , and it also went toe to toe with a deoxys that one time, so yeah as a sceptile I honestly think he might be the best of Ash's hoenn mons( but Ash's hoenn team in general was pretty underwhelming)
My Favorite Pokemon of Ash's is Infernape followed closely by Krookodile and Donphan. Also fun fact about his Torterra: aside from battles with Team Rocket, it lost every battle it was in as a Torterra and didn't knock out anything.

As of strongest team, journeys comes in top and alola and kalos in 2way tie.
Imagine if he went back to Kalos for another episode and found a Froakie that turned out to be his Greninja's child, and they had to get Froakie back to Greninja

Sceptile had way more battle experience than Blaziken who only got actual use once it evolved into Combusken.

The only PowerfuI Pokemons that Ash got are Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, Charizard, Sceptile, Greninja, Torterra, Infernape, Krookodile, Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, Lycanroc, Incineroar, Melmetal, Noivern, Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, Unfezant, Talonflame, Hawlucha, Leavanny, Gliscor, Glalie, Torkoal, Heracross, Donphan, Snorlax, Tauros, Kingler and Muk.
I would like the rest of Ash's old Pokemon like Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Bayleaf, Quilava, Totodile, Corphish, Gible, Buziel, Snivy, Pignite, Oshawott, Scraggy, Boldore, Palpitoad, Galarian Farfetch'd and Rowlet( get rid of the Everstone)to evolve because they deserve to be return to the series and a chance to evolve fully🤞. Then Ash would have more Ultimate pokemon Team👍
I think with Ash's aura history, I expect humungous potential from Ash's Lucario

I'm gonna defend my boy Dragonite a lil more. Yes his main battle was Mega Lucario but he actually had 2 opponents, a Meinshao and Mega Lucario.
Yes it might be only a Meinshao but the fact he still took it on, and some damage and then went straight onto a Mega Lucario and took the win

We can all agree Pikachu will remain the favorite. My opinion will have to be Greninja. Greninja is the best if not all time favorite cuz of the bond they have. When they are in sync it’s S tier. Greninja had great development as a Froki to a Frogadeer until Greninja. It kinda has the same personality as Ash and when Greninja was still Froki, it chose Ash cuz of love. That’s why Greninja is the best hands down.
Krookodile never lost a battle upon evolution
For Pokémon Journeys I’d say Lucario is stronger than Dragonite since it only had a single battle but Lucario has wins and loses as it helped Ash with legendary battles so I’d say Lucario is strongest.
Plus it has been set up to b ash's ace and there can only b one of those per series/region

If I had to make a team from all of Ash pokemon, I'd go with
1. Pikachu
2. Charizard
3. Sceptile
4. Greninja
5. Dragonite
6. Heracross
With Infernape, Gengar and Lucario in rotation. Switching in and out Heracross with Lucario, Charizard with Infernape, and Dragonite with Gengar.

Majority of the Pokémon that you mentioned of ash’s Pokémon is absolutely spot on.

I think to really determine it, they need to make Lucario go against Dragonite, they both had a long history around the Pokémon world. If we are speaking logically, out of the context of Journeys, they are most likely going to make Lucario the ace.
Before you argue with me, hear me out:
Lucario started increasing in popularity because of the 8th Pokémon movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, there is also a Lucario in every single region like after Sinnoh, in Sinnoh, there was Riley's Lucario, there was also Maylene's Lucario, then in Unova, there was Cameron the crackhead with his crackhead Lucario, then there was Korrina's Lucario in Pokemon XYZ with the mega evolution as well, I have to say it was sick! The character development for both Mega Lucario and Korrina was amazing. Then again there is Ash's Lucario, the main protagonist with a Pokemon that has a lot of popularity, speaking logically, probably Lucario is going to be Ash's ace.
I'm not saying that Dragonite is not popular, but I feel like Lucario kinda outweighs Dragonite, let's see the screen time in ALL of the animes, we have seen Drake's Dragoniute in Hoenn, Lance's Dragonite in Johto, Iris' Dragonite in Unova and Dragonite of course appears again in Journeys.
If we are speaking not of their power, but the popularity and logic in Journeys, again, Lucario, because he has clearly more screen time than Dragonite, I would of course love to see the character development of Dragonite, but I feel like it isn't going to make sense if they advertise Lucario so much just to make Dragonite the ace of the team. They have also kind of put Lucario and Cinderace together like a duo sorta thing, so if Ash and Goh were ever going to battle something together, like the Eternatus battle, logically, Lucario, to partner up with Cinderace.
You see, there is this ongoing debate about whether Dragonite or Charizard (Ash's Charizard is better than his Dragonite in my opinion) is better throughout all of the Pokemon anime, I feel like it wouldn't really make sense for the Pokemon anime creators to start another debate whether Ash's Lucario and Dragonite is better. They also did much less character development for him. I believe that they are going to start to show more about Dragonite's nature, but personally, I think Lucario.

The only regions I find myself disagreeing on is Jouto, Alola, where one could argue that Lycanroc was Ash's strongest as it helped Ash win two grand trials (I know Pikachu did as well, but then again one of those trials involved it having to be a 3 v 1 because you know Nanu is a dark specialist who deals in fighting unfair) but it also won Ash the Alola league, and the current series because it's not over yet and it's hard to pass judgement because of that.
I would honestly give the title of strongest in jouto to Cyndaquil as it fought in 5 of the gyms and helped out massively, taking down Bugsy's Scyther, Jasmine's steelix, and a very impressive win against Pryce's Dewgong despite having type disadvantage. Heracross' only wins in jouto were against a Scizor and Gary's Magmar in the league which isn't enough to scream "i'm the best", at least to me.
I kind of feel as though Kingler, Glaie and Snorax (if it counts) should have some mentions. Kingler won Ash is first battle in the league and even took out a closter in the next battle. Glaie in the Hoenn League never officially lost. It either tied or won. It was even strong enough to beat a Charizard and Metang. Snorlax managed to beat Clair's kingdra who was extremely powerful and two of Gary's and Harrion's pokemon.
Honestly I think lucario get the edge, i also think lucario is the perfect pkmn for ash i have just waited since the sinnoh series for him to grt one 😁
Let's hope he gets a special form as it's kinda become a precedent since Krookodile for aces to have a distinct look. Krookodile had those shades, and greninja and Lycanroc had their own forms. It makes sense for Lucario to get a similar deal

Let's start with Mega Evolution. Considering that Ash got a Shiny in Johto, a Z-Ring in Alola, even has a Gigantamax in this show, it's only reasonable that he gets a Mega Ring, now that he has 6 Pokemon that can Mega Evolve. It might not make sense in a show about Dynamax (especially with the Diamond and Pearl remakes all but decided), but I still say that Ash is due for a Mega Evolution, starting with Lucario.
Please do a beat team series with the pokemon from that particular generation only like you did with sword and shield!
I would consider Ash’s strongest Pokémon in each region would be
Kanto: Charizard
Johto: Heracross
Hoenn: Sceptile
Sinnoh: Infernape
Unova: Krookodile
Kalos: Greninja
Alola : Lycanroc or Incineroar
Galar:Lucario
If we don't count Pikachu, my predictions are:
- Kanto : Charizard
- Johto : Heracross
- Hoenn : Sceptile
- Sinnoh : Infernape
- Unova : Krookodile
- Kalos : Greninja
- Alola : Lycanrock maybe, not sure about that one
If Orange Islands count then Snorlax.
Can't say about Pokemon Journeys, I don't watch it.

Charmander was my favorite Pokemon that Ash owned, before it evolved. Reject Charmeleon and Charizard. Return to Charmander.

I say Lucario because although yes it has wins and loses it has more battle experience than Dragonite and even though Dragonite has not lost its only been in one battle

I agree with all of these. When it comes to Dragonite and Lucario though, I feel like people will say Lucario since it's likely to get a Mega and it and Ash have the same Aura. Plus people have been wanting Ash to have a Lucario for a long time (because I'm one of them). However, by the end of Pokémon Journeys, I think that Dragonite will have the highest win percentage out of all of Ash's Pokémon, or at least tie with Ash's Goodra. Personally, I don't have a preference to who is the best, I like all of Ash's Pokémon (yes that includes Unova).
I would have personally chosen Snorlax as Ash's strongest Gen 1 Pokémon since he not only single-handedly managed to beat the Fightning type Frontier Brain while being at a type disadvantage all the time, but also being able to use more than 4 moves in one battle.
So many Pokemon in the anime before DP knew more than four moves
I 100% agree with everything you said. I do think though Pikachu will become his strongest in journeys, but only when it masters Gigantamax and beats Leon

My favorite Ash Pokemon are : Bayleef, Butterfree, Pikachu, Charizard, Snorlax, Squirtle, Infernape and Greninja.
He also has a Gengar too but while i do agree on either Lucario or Dragonite being his strongest mentioning the Gengar only shows how Stacked of a lineup his journeys team is. Ultimately I think the question comes down to 3 factors what other pokemon will Ash catch during, What other important fights will Dragonite clinch and lastly if Lucario gains mega evolution for Ash and if so what kind of damage will it inflict as a mega? these are all factors in how strong Lucario gets as well as determining how stacked his team gets and how strong his dragonite is.

And after today's Iris battle, Dragonite still remains undefeated. But tbh Dragonite and Sirfetch'd is doing way better than Lucario. We barely see Ash's Lucario battle. So we have to wait for the series to end to finally pick who's the strongest from Journeys team

I still believe that Infernape, Sceptile, Charizard, and Greninja are Ash's best pokemon although Pokemon Journey has really turned the game with some awesome pokemon.

I think that the best of Ash’s Pokemon in each Regions are Kanto Pikachu Orange islands Charazard Johto Heracross Hoenn Secptile Sinnoh Infernape Unova Krookidillo Kalos Greninja Alola Lycanroc or Incinaroar Galar/Journeys Lucario or Dragonite Dragonite as long as they don’t give it the Goodra Treatment or Lucario wether it mega Evolves or get it only unique form.

I'd argue you titled this video wrong. You're telling us which Pokémon was strongest *IN* each region. But Charizard was caught *IN* Kanto, so it's *FROM* Kanto, even if it wasn't the strongest there because it wouldn't obey Ash there.
