I appreciate this video, as I just purchased a rebounder and was jumping "up" too much and wondering why my ankles were hurting. I realize I was slamming my whole body weight down into my calves, ankles, and feet. Now, doing the jumping down motion I can feel it dispersed more evenly through my legs. Thanks again.

Fantastic ! Thank you SOOO much for correcting bouncing misconceptions. I started bouncing in the late 80's and did it incorrectly until I watched an instructor performing as you do; what a difference ! My workout changed incredibly. Great video.

Thank you! I have watched several videos on rebounding, and . . . . one was talking toooooo fast! I couldn't figure out what was being said!
Another was talking so s l o w l y that I almost fell asleep. A third one, and oh heavens, the intro was 3 times longer than the actual use info!
This one - just like Goldilocks - is just right! You're talking to us and demonstrating at the same time in a tempo that's a nice flow.

Hi there! Thank you for this great explanation on how to properly jump on a rebound.
What rebound brand and model are you using?

I actually don't use the rebounder for regular low impact workouts anymore. It was causing too many problems for me that way, so I use it for walking and C25K walk/ run intervals. The videos using rebounder s here on RUclips were just too high impact and got my heart rate up way too high.

This looks really good and I'm thinking of buying one of these. But can I still use this equipment after having a double back fusion last year?? Thank you.

Where is main force occurring when you bounce? Low back, glutes, thighs, knees? Thank you, Judy N

Hello, do you think it would be okay to use the rebounder to practice jumping in dance? It's exactly everything you said not to do (pointed toes leaving the floor, flat back, etc) but maybe just for a few repetitions to practice?

Congratulations. You just took away 98% of the fun of using a rebounder. I tried it your way and had to call my chiropractor for a complete adjustment and then my orthopedic guy to fix my knees. P.S. Not a single other person recommends doing it like you describe and I've watched scores of these "how to rebound" videos.

I'm the kind of person who likes to see evidence or proof for what someone is promoting. All I see here is someone's opinion of how we should be jumping on a trampoline. No thank you.😊
