    I found out about rebounding from a book about fighting cancer using natural methods and started rebounding soon after. It’s been over a week of 30min aerobic workouts on my rebounder and I am shocked that I haven’t heard of this until now having always been into fitness and healthy lifestyle. It’s crazy. My skin is glowing, my core has tightened up almost immediately, my body is firmer, my posture is better, my mood is great, I feel incredibly energised every time I do it, I literally cannot wait for my rebounder time. I never felt like this about any exercise. I never saw the benefits as quickly and I never felt as energised after a workout as I do now. I get sweaty and happy and I just can’t praise it enough. It’s something incredible but at the same time a well hidden secret! Thanks for promoting it and I will also tell everyone about it even though people’s initial reaction is somewhat baffled when you mention a trampoline as an adult, but they don’t know what they’re missing out on!
    Happy rebounding everyone!

      I have been thinking of investing into a rebounder..I’m 47yrs old & in what I think is the ‘perimenopausal’ stage..achey joints/weight gain etc.
      I will definitely try this!
      Can I ask what the book you read was ? My mum died from cancer at 60yrs old, so I want to do what I can to stay healthy 🙂

      @@helencavanagh8119 the book is called ‘How my immune system beat cancer’ by Fred Evrard. Great and easy to read. You can also find him on Dr Berg’s channel. He interviewed him, that’s how I found about him and others who have survived terminal cancer using natural remedies. Good luck and enjoy your rebounding!

    Rebounding actually INCREASES autophagy, not decreases. "Autophagy (pronounced “ah-TAH-fah-gee”) is your body's process of reusing old and damaged cell parts."

    I'm a 60-year-old lady and just started rebounding. And to me, it's more than magical but actually like the breath of God pumped into your entire muscular system. Anybody who commits to rebounding won't need a gym, bcuz it's not gonna give the benefits that rebounding will. Even a treadmill is useless unless you're running on it. The only exercise that can hold a candle to rebounding is yoga. And I think both are essential bcuz both are linked to the forces of the universe.

      Have you always used the same one? If not have you used a spring versus a bungee. I only have about $100 for my first one, $150 max, and wonder if I should get a bungee one because they are easy and quieter, but I read the springs work just as good and are more low maintenance. Since you've been rebounding for so long, do you notice a difference or have any reccomendations? I have quite a bit if weight to lose though, like 120ish pounds. So not sure if weight matters for spring or bungee.

  • @patwagner9308
    @patwagner9308 11 месяцев назад +10

    You are SO RIGHT !!! I have had a rebounder many , many years. I have 2. I got a Cellerciser from Dave Hall about 4 yrs. ago. I had a mastectomy 5 yrs. ago & some lymph nodes removed. That convinced me how vital it is to keep that lymph system moving ! You're right. It doesn't have a pump like our heart does. And rebounding is the best way to pump the lymph system. I'm on my rebounder daily.
    And I agree w/you that it is fun ! It doesn't take a long time, either, to get results.....I mean...every time you get on & bounce, you're doing something positive for your health.
    I learned something from you....I didn't know our bodies have 3 times as much lymph fluid as blood ! Wow. It's our sewage system....it needs to be pumped out on a regular basis !
    I also agree w/you about not going too cheap when buying a rebounder. That can be very dangerous. If you get a cheap one , you could jump up & come down right thru the mat & do some irreparable damage to yourself. Get a decent quality rebounder, please. It's a wonderful piece of equipment , a lot of fun & very beneficial.
    Thank you for doing this video.

    Rebounding is an excellent way to mimic walking and as mentioned great for the lymphatic system.
    Takes up little to no space - great to use when the weather is unpleasant to go walking in.

    Rebounding works the stability muscles that protect the lower spine, something crunches don't do well. I noticed my posture straightening over time because of rebounding. Great for the lymph system, too. Do as Rachel says. Invest in a quality rebounder. I own a JumpSport bungee rebounder which I prefer to the previous one I owned which was a spring style rebounder. I get a much smoother spring from a bungee style rebounder. Some prefer the spring type so that's OK. Lots of great brand on the market (Bellicon, JumpSport, Cellicizer, Needak, etc.) Check 'em out. Happy rebounding everybody!

    You don’t need to do crazy girl exercises. You only have to gently bounce; the Gforce from a rebounder moves your lymph system. Always wear shoes. Cheap rebounders may cause your ankles to turn in and can damage your ankles. The mat of the rebounders shouldn’t dip very far when you are standing on it. If it does it’s not very stable.

    I finally found one awhile back that is easily foldable without disassembly. Sadly it has not been used. Motivated to create a habitual routine. Other than going to spas to use a lymphatic drainage machine (if they offer it in the city you live in), this is the only way to stimulate your lymphatic system. I’ve heard the vibrating plates can also stimulate the lymphatic system. Decided on a rebounder to get a cardio and sweating effect.

      Bravo! That is a hug accomplishment - and way to go to make the rebounder more easily accessible. It seems you have two options:
      1. Move on with Continuity.
      2. Move on with Online Studio.
      I have not tried Continuity - but I am so curious! You can still maintain the structure of the workouts you have.
      However, there is online studio which has many more bells and whistles. I have a video coming out Monday - ALL about Online Studio which should help.
      If nothing else, I think anyone should do the two week trial to get a sense of Online Studio. But I am convinced that Continuity is much more affordable and probably as effective in many ways.

    Hey there?? I'm curious if you do the "heat and humidity" aspect of TA?? I've been doing TA on and off for years, and the "heat and humidity" aspect is always something I've had a problem with. My house is 150+ years old and it's nearly impossible to heat it up to the temps she recommends. I can't even get close, mo matter what heater I use, especially in northeast winters. It naturally gets to the right temp in summer. I still feel like I get a great workout without it, but I'm curious about your take on it. Thanks!!

    • @RundownwithRachel

      Hey!!! I haven’t tried the heat/humidity dispensers i see others use. I am in Florida and workout in a room that we don’t run AC these days so it is warmer. But all of my original meta results were done by completing the workout with AC! I’m sure there is a case to be made about the hotter environment, but I’m right there with you that hot or not - the workout is great!!!! I bet your historic home is just lovely! We have one too and they are such gems - albeit, tons of work - but gems! 💎

      What an accomplishment! You are almost at the meta finish line!!!
      As far as rebounding, sadly it is not a part of the online studio membership, there are no rebounding classes on there unfortunately. Looks like you can purchase the digital version of the rebounding dvd though. Recently learned from a TAM follower that if you purchase a digital version of a DVD on the website, you can contact customer service and they will load it on your online studio dashboard so that you can access as easily as the online studio classes. I have not purchased the rebounding dvd or digital download, rather I mimic as closely as I can the dance cardio moves (from the dance cardio class) on the trampoline - which I find for me really gets the job done! Keep up the great work! That is a huge accomplishment getting so far into meta!!!

    • @RundownwithRachel
      @RundownwithRachel  3 года назад +1

      Hey! I follow intuitive eating, which I have a video on called “Diets don’t work but this does.” Whenever I am restrictive with my eating, without fail I end up binging! Which ends up being so counterproductive.
      It’s taken me years to accept that. For the most part, I have oatmeal with a banana in the morning, a big salad with a protein for lunch, and dinner is kind of unpredictable- it really ends up being what I feel like: tacos, steak with veggies, Thai, Italian and I love me a good skinny marg or a glass of red wine.

This book has helped me so much "The rules of normal eating" @t. I mention it in so many of my videos. And I still reread it because there are so many helpful concepts in there which I have to relearn again. I really hope this helps. In our diet culture world, I think we are convinced that we can strong-arm ourselves into sticking to our diets and being "good" when our bodies willingness to survive is so much more powerful than any will power.
