These dudes were awesome to their fans back in the day btw. We hung around for a long while after a show to see them and they hung out with us all for a good while just cutting up and signing autographs and taking pics with people.

The Offspring is one of my favorite all time bands. I saw them in 2019 live and omg that was a show
1995 NYC. Dexter told the audience he'd seen a lot of f'd up audiences, but we were the most f'd up audience he'd ever seen.

Dex is the most smartest, intelligent, emotional ( Yeah, EMOTIONAL!!!) and hard working guy out there for me. He is my role model kind of because he achieved so much in his life, not only music, with the hard work without trying to be too cool like the most LA/Cali celebs)). and btw I'm not a punk, I'm just a girl who listens all music genres from classics and opera to grunge and rock if I think it's good enough, but these guys are my favorites for 20+ years since I first heard them (didn't even know English back then)))). BEST BAND EVER that will never get old and I'm so damn lucky to live where they are now and go to their concerts with a smaller audience)))))!!! I wish to make a documentary about them one day.

Franciszek Jamato Not really much more skilled, it's still just mostly fast power chords and palm mutes, the staple of punk rock. Maybe a couple of solos here and there, nothing really special.

Saw them once back in 2004 headlining a radio concert in West Palm Beach, FL (94.9 Zeta's Bonzai). 20 years later I am going to see them again at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

Dave M Clearly your one of those music fans that refuses to let a band grow & change. You want them to stay in the same little box you found them in.
Dave M Maybe they are just getting older or maybe they just don't feel the angst that they used to. I'd rather have a band put out music they want to perform than force something they don't really feel. I saw the Offspring when they toured for the days gone by album and they were great played a ton of stuff from the older albums and a couple off the new one. Was a great time and my daughters first concert. If you get a chance to go see them do it you won't be disappointed.
. Metallica is an perfect example of what not to do, forcing change because you think no one will like you if you don't. I watched "some kind of monster" & almost threw up! I was watching that & I couldn't believe what a bunch of insecure douche bags Lars in particular. Telling Kirk there shouldn't be any guitar solos because they "aren't popular nowadays". They're new manager may have saved their careers well maybe as far as I'm concerned Metallica is done & over.

And dont say that you can, because thats just impossible ... Offspring were my favorite band when i was a kid, but id still skip songs on their cd's simply because i didnt like them ... i still keep their stuff on my frequents list though.
