Yeah you need the dlc and to do everything. This game is a lot better with it's dlc which sadly means they released an unfinished game, but it still has an amazing story, I just wished the online did better because FFXIV is still doing better when it comes to online, and I actually hate that one. It's more popular than FFXV but I liked XV more and the online is a little harder than other online games, and getting with friends is hard, but it still was fun. You get to find out the in between story by playing comrades, reading the books, and playing the dlc story expansions, along with the dlc episodes where you play as each of the friends and ardyn
Wait what? I have no idea what your referring to. Either way it might not show him dying, but it seems to heavy imply he does so to allow noctis to get to ardyn. He tells noctis "maybe we will meet at daybreak", even though he wasn't told noctis will die, nobody reacts to what he says, so he probably knew noctis would die somehow, maybe Regis let him in on that secret, but by time daybreak hits, noctis will be dead. Maybe cor had a nyx moment and went on to lie down and die having a nice view of the rising sun as he faded away knowing his king succeeded, and their mission, over.
The first time I played this, the ending didn't live up to the hype, but once the dlc dropped and I replayed it, and I did so with an entirely new game, I was stoked. With the added context and such, it felt like you were really witnessing these events and you feel more attached as you watch everything you worked for die or fade away in hopes that their sacrifices pushed noctis forward, just for you to die and you lament with the bittersweet ending knowing you saved the world, but you won't be able to experience it, along with the most precious things to you.
Glad you got to experience it all and had the journey, I’d played it from day 1 release when not filled with as much content but could definitely say that I was satisfied with what I’d got and the ending still hit strong for me how it went with the sacrifice ending going towards the credits with the audio flashback of the boys pushing the car again, this was peak for an ending imo
I didn't get this Cor bit. I killed Cerberas so easily I actually laughed about it. Some fantastic spells, an armiger attack, level 100 Noctis with 9999 HP. I did get the Luna scene with all the gods.
Wish there had been optional Eidolons besides Garuda to obtain. Would have loved to seen what Alexander would have looked like. Always imagined Alexander looking like a Giant Clad of Armor that looked like a Humanoid Castle if he existed in this world of Final Fantasy
Got the cutscenes even with being OP by the time i departed to Altissia. Having the Finding King's Sigil made Armiger cheese through most fights. Only fight that still gave me run for my gil was the Omega superboss.
Yeah, I'm kinda glad he's mearly crippled. The thing is if he were to die, that would be the player's fault since you can only unlock this scene by finishing all Insomnia side quests so it would've been like "Congratulations, you did all the side quests, now watch an old guy die". Glad it didn't go that route.
@@lifeofkai5063 Pretty cool, and the combat is really satisfying, although I'm not sure I like the whole ATB mechanic (I don't know if that was in the original game, never had the chance to play it). I already pre-ordered it. How bout you?
Wow. I didn’t get this cutscene. I beat Cerberus so easily, and it transitioned to Luna. Thanks for sharing.
Did you play the "Royal Edition"? You have to do Cor's side mission too!! (sorry for my english 😅)

Basically if you did the side quest with chor then he will appear if not then chor will be busy with the magitek bases

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that guy looks like a more scruffy, edgy and blond Cor lol

They said if only they finished making the game as intended tenebrae castle couldve been alexander
Knowing Cor, he most likely walked the injury off.
He did, you can see him be just fine at the Glaives Hideout after this battle.

Thanks for posting, had little tears in my eyes
Bit over the top.. I mean he didn't die.. I mean I'm glad he didn't but this scene is kind of redundant.

I just now saw this and I want to know what that sword is.
