Same. I love XV, but Versus XIII was where it was at. So much potential, so more lore that I think would have been magnificent to explore. A darker Noctis. An even darker Insomnia.
To me it'd all be good if they would set Nomura on this game with a kitchen knife. Maybe it wouldn't be a 100% what he wanted, but there is enough space for him to repair a decent amount of damage.

And it basically drained my computer for all power. It was not many FPS that I could have there. So if the battle would have been anything else than holding 1 button I would never have gotten past that fight :/.
Honstly, it really wasn't that diffrent. I mean, the whole trailer was essentially the first phase we play though, the second phase was ment to be more of an experience and it in my opinion, felt awesome. And to be fair, the trailer was pre rendered so it wouldn't have ever look as good
@@muby102 If that's how you feel, there was plenty of flying around, not just fireing but also close combat with your royal arms, removing appendages and a few QTE moments including the finisher, it's fine if you don't like it, but it did make me feel like a G O D playing. If you say it's cuz it was easy, again I think that was the point.
Nomura has his faults, but his drive to make as close to what he wanted seemingly in Verum Rex is nothing but admirable/respectable. By any means, by any means.
I doubt we’d ever see it. Nomuras totally drained from all these years of overwork. He’d probably leave Square Enix after the remake project is over, there’s a good chance he’d even leave before it’s over. Overworking is unhealthy

I remember back when they first released the teasers for the Fabula Nova Crystalis, Versus XIII was the one that really caught my attention because of its aesthetic - a dark Final Fantasy. Not that previous FFs weren't dark in terms of story and looks but this one, for me, was IT. Advent Children just released and it showcased a very dark environment towards the end and visually it looked amazing. Noctis was shown as an anti-hero of some sort. He looked evil, brooding with anger. He wasn't the typical main character in a Final Fantasy. Previously we had Tidus who was childish, Vaan who was also childish, and Lightning from the teaser which looked like a character who, like the previous protagonists, was also in the light spectrum of characters. Noctis was in the darker spectrum. Oh, what could have been. Nomura might not wanna touch on XV ever again, that's probably why he's doing Verum Rex things in Kingdom Hearts. He's certainly bitter about the whole XV project. His heart won't let go. It looked like Versus was supposed to be an antithesis to Final Fantasy. Instead of warriors of light, we have heroes that were dark and quite possibly evil. We don't really know the true Versus XIII, only Nomura does. And we probably won't see it ever happening. There won't be a Versus XV. There has to be a movement as big as VII Remake for Square to do a Versus XIII/XV. There's also this game that deserves a remake - Chrono Trigger. Fans weren't as loud as VII's but they were certainly there. However, with Versus' case, the game was an iteration of a published game. Maybe the reason for Nomura adding in elements of Versus XIII in KH is to tap into fans of Versus XIII. Maybe this is his way of asking the fans for help in bring the world of Versus XIII out.
Nomura said in an interview back in 2012 when KH 3D came out that what he can't put in Versus XIII he'll put into Kingdom Hearts and vice versa. Since Versus XIII was scrapped he can put all of his unused ideas into Kingdom Hearts as Verum Rex.
I don't want Final Fabtasy 15 Versus, nor do I want a 13 Versus. It has to be Final Fantasy Versus. Just Versus without any Number. Without any restrictions... A dark, bloody, tragic, twisted, controversial game.

This makes me want to cry. I was looking forward to Episode Noctis. I was looking forward to more of the story being fleshed out, the story has always been so enthralling to me. I really do hope that we get a reboot, or better yet, a remake where we get tale in its entirety, with the original intentions set out for this installation as per Versus XIII. I remember playing the original Versus XIII trailer over and over and over again when I was 16. An amalgamation of Shinjuku, New York, London and Paris rolled into one big city surrounded by night sky and a bright moon with the Yoko Shimomura music we all know and love playing. It was like a dream. It was everything I wanted from a video game world, something Yakuza actually filled this whole time because it is set within Shinjuku.
We have got to get our message out to Square-Enix and tell them that we want Final Fantasy XV: Dawn To The Future to become a DLC that shows and tells the true ending of Final Fantasy XV.
I think it should be done with a special remaster of 15 for next gen. If this happens though i doubt its a massive expansion like it would have originally been.

Thats really interesting actually because it makes more sense on why EP Noctis was supposed to lead to the good ending of the game. If he could explore all the timelines within the crystal that means he could see the outcome that happened and decide that it wasn't the best outcome. Using the gods own power and wisdom to go against the plan and the path they'd set out for him to take. Trying to work to the future that was shown in that photo we saw teased.

I believe that Versus 13 is NOT canceled. Verum Rex is a way of Nomura hinting us. Dawn of the future confirms that. Canceling the Noctis DLC makes room for the full game. And the original Versus 13 opening trailer proves it, "This is a fantasy based on reality," and "The true figure is still hidden within the sleep." Quotes in the beginning of the trailer and ties up with DOTF. Versus 13 events happen while Noctis is in the crystal. Keeping 15 as is and making room for the game everyone wants.
Whats wierd its not like KH3 came out earlier for it. KH3 skipped consoles, that was too long. They could of made 2 games in the time we all waited. Nomura should of saw the project through and if its better than they can have season passes.
It's honestly kinda sad the way FFXV turned out in the end. That being said, It's never been a better time to be a Final Fantasy fan nowadays, at least in my opinion.

I hate hate HATE how everything that FF15 could have been was taken away, a full and understandable story? GONE. A bad ass final boss fight almost on par with the idea for Bahamut the KING or dragons from FF1. GONE. They are just trying to shoehorn any logical, lore bullshit to applogize to Nomura for the embarrassment of FFXV and somehow fit the upcoming VERSUS reboot into the story without breaking any lore left. could eos maybe have an orience effect like in Type 0? in which the world has various realities and repeating timelines that play out differently like how Academia is traded for a feudal japan inspired landscape and each character while being the same has an innate difference and each scenario in one timeline plays out differently in another like how Noctis was originally in Insomnia when Niflheim invaded maybe he's like Ace who can remember details of his prior world with the reason being that he's the main character of Type 0
It would've been interesting if Noctis was present for the invasion. I played throughout the entire main game and didn't watch the movies or the anime or buy the DLC, so by the time I was finished the main game, I don't even think they ever mentioned the name of the kingdom that was invading Lucis or... how? Does this other kingdom have a stronger military? How far away is this other kingdom, and do we ever get to see it? I know Ardyn is their leader, but... that's kind of it. Are there any other leaders? Versus 13 looked like a lot of the setting would've been in important locations in whatever world the game was set in, while FF15 just has you leave the most interesting place in the game right off the bat before saying just "a kingdom" invaded while you were gone.
Also, Ardyn is chancellor to Emperor Aldercapt of niflheim. They talk a little bit about niflheim, and there's a whole chapter devoted to Noctis and friends infiltrating an empty niflheim, which Ardyn played a major role in the fall of Gralea. Also, he's the reason why the climate in Gralea is such and anomoly.

(Holy cow, googling it up, it's a whole city?) I also don't recognize Gralea at all. Was this optional content or part of the DLCs??
@@dailydelphox It's the capital of Niflheim. It's a major part of chapter 13, as the crystal of Lucis is kept there in Zegnatus Keep. All the citizens are turned into Daemons at that point. Also, because of shiva's death, which niflheim caused, Gralea has abnormal cold weather.
@@justasuka5626 Not sure what you mean. Most of chapter 13 takes place underground in, honestly, very generic hallways. I never even stopped to consider that it might be another Kingdom or even a full city, considering you don't get to see any of it. Do you get to see more of the city outside of just exploring the underground maze? Because googling the names of these places gives me COMPLETELY different results from what I played.
Oh yeah, the invasion would've been a more exciting start to the game, but I still think the game is great, I know many put it down for not having it, but the fact that they still put it in the movie dispite removing it in the game for time constraints means they still know fans wanted it. Dispite the many unfortunate mistakes, and the cancellations of the DLC (I'm still kinda holding out for them to possibly still make it one way or another) I still really like this game.

I haven't even finished my playthrough of ff15 yet but I really do love this game plus my boyfriend brought for me when my things in my life wasn't going well and this game had me feel like if everything isn't going well I had this to cheer me up and get lost in a world that was completely different also enjoyed everything about and I so would love to have more of content of it and plus more of understand the 10 years sleep that happened to Notics and understand what was going on for him while was going through that. I really hope they can something for us soon
FFXV wasn’t that bad just because some parts didn’t make it that doesn’t make it less bad but there are things that made it like the leviathan fight, a fight with Luna as the daemon queen and a darker tone I feel like many of the complaints are fine and reasonable but some very exaggerated with the hate that it becomes unfair criticism It’s still a great game and means a lot to me
main complaint for me was the removal of the things from the trailers i almost garuntee people wouldnt have been as upset had they been in the game from the start
Now that we have Dreams on PS4, I really hope someone will make a Final Fantasy Versus XIII and maybe an adaptations of "Dawn of the future", probably a team of persons who really would love to see this game finally complete.
Great Video. I wish we got DLC for when he was sleeping, that would of made the last part more complete. Missing that and not even being able to go around the "World of Ruin" was a missed opportunity. I played FFXV during quarantined and I really enjoyed it.
If only the project would not be expensive, I would love to see the developers among with Nomura be the director and finish either the Versus XIII plot or the remaining XV content. Reading the novel will not be on the same level as playing and exploring the content yourself.
I believe the game had a lot of potential, but in the end felt quite rushed to me. A lot of lore that I wish we would’ve gotten was simply not there. I would’ve loved some more voice lines as well, because hearing Gladio go “then lose the jacket” a good five times in half an hour. The world felt very empty, aside from finding herbs and all in the wild. I know the chances for a remake of this game is,,, slim to say the least, but I absolutely would love one with all of its potential fulfilled. With content that gave the characters true characteristics and gave us a proper reason to bond with them. I feel like the fandom gave the characters more personality than the game somehow.
About Bahamut, cause I see a lot of this. Kinda long, but honestly worth the read. I like how Bahamut was not even a big deal in the original VS story. Ardyn himself was infinitely more powerful as the Fal'cie created as the Guardian of Mankind (before he fell), and EVERY so-called "god", i.e., "Astrals" (wtf name retcon) were NOTHING more than Guardian Elemental Spirits, lower than gods. The only god that even existed in VERSUS was Etro herself. Why was she considered a god? Because she was legitimately made powerful enough to create Crystals (Divine Stones) and EVEN gave Insomnia her own HEART as THEIR Crystal to ATONE for her shame of falling in love with a mortal man and giving birth to the Caelum bloodline, which is why every Caelum can call upon her power, use the magic of the Crystal (her heart) and worship her as their patron goddess. The truth is always so simple and eloquent when you know Nomura's original design. Truth has a certain ring to it, and it all just snaps together once you have the real story. BTW, nothing I just typed is fan fiction anything, head canon, nothing. That's LITERALLY legitimate lore from the final draft of the script used to complete the PS4 alpha of the game for testing and balancing purposes. Story intact. Don't worry, when it all finally comes out, I would save what I typed above, for you will see it is 100% accurate, word for word. Anyway, there. My gift to you all. - Zeal (You already know.)
actually. If enough people email Square Enix, then sure as heck they'll release the level editor / scripting. They'll make lingo to say creators cannot profit, which true creators won't mind. I know I'd love to play what we know what was supposedto happen.
Square Enix will be back on track, when they actually finish final fantasy XV. Im still depressed, a bit sour and hurting from not have any clousure. I mean they could've at least finish the rest of the remainig episodes. And released episode dusce, demo platuinm and the chocobo moogle festival as acessable dlc.
Honestly, I'm going to put my faith in Square Enix. I feel like with everyone being pretty much content with what we got from the FF7 Remake, I think Square should understand now that they can't make anymore mistakes that'll just make fans walk away again after the absolute mess of what happened with FF15 which, mark my words, would have decimated every other one of their previous games and raised the bar for the standard of their games. Extremely unfortunately, Versus XIII didn't happen. However, I don't think that Square is just gonna box this thing up and put it away forever and never touch it again. With all of the new "revamping" of their previous games they've been doing as of now, I don't think that they'll leave FF15 alone. Versus XIII, the true game with the true Noctis and Insomnia I love, was too freaking amazing of a concept to just let go of, and I have faith that Square will come back with it now that we know that this was what Noctis dreamed of in his 10 year sleep. I mean, honestly, I think it might be pretty smart if Square just had Versus XIII be their "part two" to the FF15 we got, and everyone would be happy finally getting what they wanted and paying for what they should have gotten over a decade ago. I know I'd be happy, and I know I'd be willing to pay for it as long as it was EXACTLY the Versus XIII I know and love. Square can use Versus XIII to really bring it home that they aren't going to screw up again and have people shit on their company anymore - that they mean business. Personally, I don't want a FF16 until we get Versus XIII as a part two to FF15. Again, we don't have to pretend like FF15 didn't happen, just make Versus XIII the part two so no one is complaining about so many freaking DLCs. I just don't think it's wise for Square to start on something new until they really perfect everything else they already have. Square should focus on making its fans happy and loyal so that they know for sure they won't be struggling with a budget when they start up with new games, right? It makes sense to me. If they want to blow every other competitor out of the water, they can use Versus XIII for that, too. Versus XIII is the key to everything, haha! Final fantasy 7 remake was good n all but short as hell for a JRPG and no super boss... I'm not so sure I like the new direction the old ones was stuffed with side content
@@zamon8erz10 Well, we have to keep in mind that the remake that was released as of now was only the FIRST part of it. By the time we get the rest of the parts, we'll probably have a pretty solid amount of content all in all that will add up to what a standard JRPG should feel like and match the length of the original game.

To me, the perfect change to the story if they continued with the possibility of versus XIII would be for Noctis’s sleep in the crystal allowing him to see his possible future, and the game should start in the crystal. This way you could have a quick exposition of how the original game ended. Explain how we’d be able to travel to the world of Versus XIII and let us play through the original Romeo and Juliett story, where Noctis isnt the true king, and going through with the DLC will change how the Ring of Lucii works, no longer healing the player but harming the player. This would mean we also wouldnt be able to use the super saiyan ultra armiger mode, which turned the promising Leviathan and Ardyn boss battles into holding the bumper and circle/B. Without rambling too long about how I’d like this story to play out and in what ways Noctis and the crew would grow as people in that seperate story, it should end with Noctis entering the crystal to rid that world of light, a world worth saving. Then we could get two new canon endings, where Noctis is given the choice to either stay here as the new light dispelling the darkness (whatever that implies), and one where he returns to the main game and changes the ending, since he now knows of Ardyn’s past. They could either have the player kill Ardyn out of sympathy instead of hatred, allowing him to live in peace as he wanted and possibly let Noctis tell the world of his past or something, and the player would feel more satisfied with his death (since Noctis’s hatred of Ardyn didnt really resonate with folks, especially since the DLC had him painted as a man fated for corruption) or have it end like the other Fabula Nova games, man vs god, let us kill Bahamut, the man who sealed Ardyn’s destiny as a villain, this time without the Ring of Lucii, but with our party, and maybe Ardyn, Aranea, and Cor. If Noctis were to explain his journey in XIII Versus to Ardyn over the course of the new chapter 14, and atone for the sins of his family, it wouldnt feel out of character for him to help kill Bahamut and possibly live eternally in solace like Vincent in FF7, and killing the gods who held down everyone, and since we dont have the Ring of Lucii anymore, it feels like we’re actually killing these threats of our own mettle, rather than the game holding our hand through an on the rails shooter. Im not writer, i just want a more satisfying ending, like Ignis’s second ending, and I want it cemented as canon, something that people who didnt like the original story and didnt play up to the third DLC can come back to and rethink their opinions on the game. A 15-25 hour expansion would recontextualize the entire game
I think Nomura is bringing Versus XIII back silently. First, DOTF explains that the Versus timeline does in fact exist, but XV couldn't bring it to fruition, however, we do know that XV has Versus assets still left in the files. Next, Dissidia NT received Versus content, which is strange because Nomura was still not allowed to speak about Versus. Lastly, Nomura has his "small" homage to Versus and the FNC.
I honestly enjoyed FF15 both on release and the when it was finally released on PC, I would have loved to play the "second season" of dlc if it had come about but since thats never gonna happen ill just have to be happy with what I got.

I love FFXV the way it is but... I WANT ALL THE FFXV CONTENT THEY WANTED TO GIVE US until things go cancelled. I want my FFXV boys to be with me forever and I will always want to have and play all the possible contents. I will never get enough FFXV.
xv had the content to actually be something phenomenal. when you read the cut lines + details found by data miners, it's almost amazing how they missed so many notes that could of leveled the entire story to TLOU status in gaming history. This game was horribly fucking slandered by the devs but beloved and held in adoration by the fans that see the masterpiece it could've been. :/ Shits sad.
Hajime Tábata and his team only have 3 years to make the game and the story was already finished when trailers come out , they have so much problem with the luminous engine that was in development..

To give Tabata credit where credit is due, as a business man and a guy who was thrown onto a project last minute (pretty much), he didn't do too bad. It's just unfortunate that a lot of things they had set in place didn't work out, especially on the graphics/ game developers side of things.

Coming from a background of loving franchises with multiverse engines and other such spatial and time oddities, it would be surprising that this idea would bother me. Though in retrospect not. To me Square with Final Fantasy is that they're constantly trying to re-invent the wheel and have their priorities *waaay* in the wrong direction.

Finishing up the last chapter/Episode of the book, now. They certainly changed the course of things REAL fast in these last few Episodes. I'm not even sure how I feel about all of it, yet.
Well, I don't disagree with that, at least, lol. I won't go into major spoilers here, but if people were looking for a happier ending, they'll definitely get it, with this book. Also, losing out on Episode Aranea was a crime to humanity.

While it's impossible to compare a game that never existed. The real problem with FFXV is how much the game we got differed from the endless previews that got us excited. If it weren't for the previews we truly all would have been happier
I knew it, I had speculated that the original Versus XIII trailer was like a dream sequence, I thought it was but wasn't at the same time, I felt it was like a dream to Noctis but it was actually this alternate World that was tied to the main World of Final Fantasy XV, I felt like it would eventually go down a Yozora path, maybe the two Noctis' would have a disagreement or something and fight, perhaps with neither of them coming out on top.
The way the enemies were described...and the fact that its taking place in a dream.......dream eaters....verum rex....i think can see whats happening...I see it... I SEE IT AND IT IS ALMOST PERFECT!!!!

Is it possible that verem rex is noctus dream as noctus is seeing into other possibilities especially with the star in Kingdom hearts III that you can speak to . And is it possible that sense in an old interview when nomura said sora and noctus are brothers.
I remember well the ambition that ffxiii vs was, and watched it change far from what was conceived. I am satisfied with ffxv, but can't help but wonder what we would have been given. I really would have loved to witness the conflict and romance between Noctis, and Luna. Also, the invasion of Insomnia as you mentioned. I do hope Verum Rex happens, and can revive ffxiii vs with its original scope, and ambition.

I would love to see Final Fantasy go back to a traditional turn-based system. FFX to me was perfect in it's execution of the system. JRPG games to me have always been about strategy and thinking 2 steps ahead.

And it basically drained my computer for all power. It was not many FPS that I could have there. So if the battle would have been anything else than holding 1 button I would never have gotten past that fight :/.
Honstly, it really wasn't that diffrent. I mean, the whole trailer was essentially the first phase we play though, the second phase was ment to be more of an experience and it in my opinion, felt awesome. And to be fair, the trailer was pre rendered so it wouldn't have ever look as good

@@muby102 If that's how you feel, there was plenty of flying around, not just fireing but also close combat with your royal arms, removing appendages and a few QTE moments including the finisher, it's fine if you don't like it, but it did make me feel like a G O D playing. I remember back when they first released the teasers for the Fabula Nova Crystalis, Versus XIII was the one that really caught my attention because of its aesthetic - a dark Final Fantasy. Not that previous FFs weren't dark in terms of story and looks but this one, for me, was IT. Advent Children just released and it showcased a very dark environment towards the end and visually it looked amazing. Noctis was shown as an anti-hero of some sort. He looked evil, brooding with anger. He wasn't the typical main character in a Final Fantasy. Previously we had Tidus who was childish, Vaan who was also childish, and Lightning from the teaser which looked like a character who, like the previous protagonists, was also in the light spectrum of characters. Noctis was in the darker spectrum. Oh, what could have been.
Nomura might not wanna touch on XV ever again, that's probably why he's doing Verum Rex things in Kingdom Hearts. He's certainly bitter about the whole XV project. His heart won't let go. It looked like Versus was supposed to be an antithesis to Final Fantasy. Instead of warriors of light, we have heroes that were dark and quite possibly evil. We don't really know the true Versus XIII, only Nomura does. And we probably won't see it ever happening. There won't be a Versus XV. There has to be a movement as big as VII Remake for Square to do a Versus XIII/XV. There's also this game that deserves a remake - Chrono Trigger. Fans weren't as loud as VII's but they were certainly there. However, with Versus' case, the game was an iteration of a published game. Maybe the reason for Nomura adding in elements of Versus XIII in KH is to tap into fans of Versus XIII. Maybe this is his way of asking the fans for help in bring the world of Versus XIII out.
Nomura said in an interview back in 2012 when KH 3D came out that what he can't put in Versus XIII he'll put into Kingdom Hearts and vice versa. Since Versus XIII was scrapped he can put all of his unused ideas into Kingdom Hearts as Verum Rex.
I don't want Final Fabtasy 15 Versus, nor do I want a 13 Versus.
It has to be Final Fantasy Versus.

I remember playing the original Versus XIII trailer over and over and over again when I was 16. An amalgamation of Shinjuku, New York, London and Paris rolled into one big city surrounded by night sky and a bright moon with the Yoko Shimomura music we all know and love playing. It was like a dream. It was everything I wanted from a video game world, something Yakuza actually filled this whole time because it is set within Shinjuku.

Thats really interesting actually because it makes more sense on why EP Noctis was supposed to lead to the good ending of the game. If he could explore all the timelines within the crystal that means he could see the outcome that happened and decide that it wasn't the best outcome. Using the gods own power and wisdom to go against the plan and the path they'd set out for him to take. Trying to work to the future that was shown in that photo we saw teased.
Greatest timeline, Nomura does a FFXV remaster on PS5, changes and adds new content to FFXV, updates combat to be more in depth, calling it FFXVersus.

I believe that Versus 13 is NOT canceled. Verum Rex is a way of Nomura hinting us. Dawn of the future confirms that. Canceling the Noctis DLC makes room for the full game. And the original Versus 13 opening trailer proves it, "This is a fantasy based on reality," and "The true figure is still hidden within the sleep." Quotes in the beginning of the trailer and ties up with DOTF. Versus 13 events happen while Noctis is in the crystal. Keeping 15 as is and making room for the game everyone wants.
I wish Tetsuya Nomura would have done versus xiii instead of Kingdom hearts 3.

in which the world has various realities and repeating timelines that play out differently like how Academia is traded for a feudal japan inspired landscape and each character while being the same has an innate difference and each scenario in one timeline plays out differently in another like how Noctis was originally in Insomnia when Niflheim invaded maybe he's like Ace who can remember details of his prior world with the reason being that he's the main character of Type 0
It would've been interesting if Noctis was present for the invasion. I played throughout the entire main game and didn't watch the movies or the anime or buy the DLC, so by the time I was finished the main game, I don't even think they ever mentioned the name of the kingdom that was invading Lucis or... how? Does this other kingdom have a stronger military? How far away is this other kingdom, and do we ever get to see it? I know Ardyn is their leader, but... that's kind of it. Are there any other leaders? Versus 13 looked like a lot of the setting would've been in important locations in whatever world the game was set in, while FF15 just has you leave the most interesting place in the game right off the bat before saying just "a kingdom" invaded while you were gone.
It's niflheim, the nation that invaded Lucis in the beginning of the game. They're the ones in Eos who created and manufactured Magitek.
Also, Ardyn is chancellor to Emperor Aldercapt of niflheim. They talk a little bit about niflheim, and there's a whole chapter devoted to Noctis and friends infiltrating an empty niflheim, which Ardyn played a major role in the fall of Gralea. @@justasuka5626 Yeah... Looking it up, all of this is pretty foreign to me. I played the entire main story start to finish, and I don't remember this Aldercapt person, or ESPECIALLY Niflheim. (Holy cow, googling it up, it's a whole city?) I also don't recognize Gralea at all.

It's a major part of chapter 13, as the crystal of Lucis is kept there in Zegnatus Keep.
All the citizens are turned into Daemons at that point.
Also, because of shiva's death, which niflheim caused, Gralea has abnormal cold weather.
@@justasuka5626 Not sure what you mean. Most of chapter 13 takes place underground in, honestly, very generic hallways. I never even stopped to consider that it might be another Kingdom or even a full city, considering you don't get to see any of it.
Do you get to see more of the city outside of just exploring the underground maze? Because googling the names of these places gives me COMPLETELY different results from what I played.
Oh yeah, the invasion would've been a more exciting start to the game, but I still think the game is great, I know many put it down for not having it, but the fact that they still put it in the movie dispite removing it in the game for time constraints means they still know fans wanted it. Dispite the many unfortunate mistakes, and the cancellations of the DLC (I'm still kinda holding out for them to possibly still make it one way or another) I still really like this game.

I haven't even finished my playthrough of ff15 yet but I really do love this game plus my boyfriend brought for me when my things in my life wasn't going well and this game had me feel like if everything isn't going well I had this to cheer me up and get lost in a world that was completely different also enjoyed everything about and I so would love to have more of content of it and plus more of understand the 10 years sleep that happened to Notics and understand what was going on for him while was going through that. I really hope they can something for us soon

FFXV wasn’t that bad just because some parts didn’t make it that doesn’t make it less bad but there are things that made it like the leviathan fight, a fight with Luna as the daemon queen and a darker tone I feel like many of the complaints are fine and reasonable but some very exaggerated with the hate that it becomes unfair criticism It’s still a great game and means a lot to me
main complaint for me was the removal of the things from the trailers i almost garuntee people wouldnt have been as upset had they been in the game from the start

Now that we have Dreams on PS4, I really hope someone will make a Final Fantasy Versus XIII and maybe an adaptations of "Dawn of the future", probably a team of persons who really would love to see this game finally complete.
Great Video. I wish we got DLC for when he was sleeping, that would of made the last part more complete. Missing that and not even being able to go around the "World of Ruin" was a missed opportunity. I played FFXV during quarantined and I really enjoyed it.
If only the project would not be expensive, I would love to see the developers among with Nomura be the director and finish either the Versus XIII plot or the remaining XV content. Reading the novel will not be on the same level as playing and exploring the content yourself.
I believe the game had a lot of potential, but in the end felt quite rushed to me. A lot of lore that I wish we would’ve gotten was simply not there. I would’ve loved some more voice lines as well, because hearing Gladio go “then lose the jacket” a good five times in half an hour. The world felt very empty, aside from finding herbs and all in the wild. I know the chances for a remake of this game is,,, slim to say the least, but I absolutely would love one with all of its potential fulfilled. With content that gave the characters true characteristics and gave us a proper reason to bond with them. I feel like the fandom gave the characters more personality than the game somehow.
About Bahamut, cause I see a lot of this. Kinda long, but honestly worth the read.
I like how Bahamut was not even a big deal in the original VS story. Ardyn himself was infinitely more powerful as the Fal'cie created as the Guardian of Mankind (before he fell), and EVERY so-called "god", i.e., "Astrals" (wtf name retcon) were NOTHING more than Guardian Elemental Spirits, lower than gods. The only god that even existed in VERSUS was Etro herself. Why was she considered a god? Because she was legitimately made powerful enough to create Crystals (Divine Stones) and EVEN gave Insomnia her own HEART as THEIR Crystal to ATONE for her shame of falling in love with a mortal man and giving birth to the Caelum bloodline, which is why every Caelum can call upon her power, use the magic of the Crystal (her heart) and worship her as their patron goddess.
The truth is always so simple and eloquent when you know Nomura's original design. Truth has a certain ring to it, and it all just snaps together once you have the real story.
BTW, nothing I just typed is fan fiction anything, head canon, nothing. That's LITERALLY legitimate lore from the final draft of the script used to complete the PS4 alpha of the game for testing and balancing purposes. Story intact.
Don't worry, when it all finally comes out, I would save what I typed above, for you will see it is 100% accurate, word for word.

Square Enix will be back on track, when they actually finish final fantasy XV. Im still depressed, a bit sour and hurting from not have any clousure. Honestly, I'm going to put my faith in Square Enix. I feel like with everyone being pretty much content with what we got from the FF7 Remake, I think Square should understand now that they can't make anymore mistakes that'll just make fans walk away again after the absolute mess of what happened with FF15 which, mark my words, would have decimated every other one of their previous games and raised the bar for the standard of their games. Extremely unfortunately, Versus XIII didn't happen. However, I don't think that Square is just gonna box this thing up and put it away forever and never touch it again. With all of the new "revamping" of their previous games they've been doing as of now, I don't think that they'll leave FF15 alone. Versus XIII, the true game with the true Noctis and Insomnia I love, was too freaking amazing of a concept to just let go of, and I have faith that Square will come back with it now that we know that this was what Noctis dreamed of in his 10 year sleep. I mean, honestly, I think it might be pretty smart if Square just had Versus XIII be their "part two" to the FF15 we got, and everyone would be happy finally getting what they wanted and paying for what they should have gotten over a decade ago. I know I'd be happy, and I know I'd be willing to pay for it as long as it was EXACTLY the Versus XIII I know and love. Square can use Versus XIII to really bring it home that they aren't going to screw up again and have people shit on their company anymore - that they mean business.
Personally, I don't want a FF16 until we get Versus XIII as a part two to FF15. Again, we don't have to pretend like FF15 didn't happen, just make Versus XIII the part two so no one is complaining about so many freaking DLCs. I just don't think it's wise for Square to start on something new until they really perfect everything else they already have. Square should focus on making its fans happy and loyal so that they know for sure they won't be struggling with a budget when they start up with new games, right? It makes sense to me. If they want to blow every other competitor out of the water, they can use Versus XIII for that, too. Versus XIII is the key to everything, haha! I believe in God Nomura lmfao - Versus XIII was his child I KNOW he won't let it go.
Final fantasy 7 remake was good n all but short as hell for a JRPG and no super boss... I'm not so sure I like the new direction the old ones was stuffed with side content
@@zamon8erz10 Well, we have to keep in mind that the remake that was released as of now was only the FIRST part of it. By the time we get the rest of the parts, we'll probably have a pretty solid amount of content all in all that will add up to what a standard JRPG should feel like and match the length of the original game.

We are gonna be waiting for a while til its completed. I'm guessing 3-4 years between each installment depending on how ambitious they are gonna be, No super boss either I did all with no strats on hard and I feel most old final fantasy games have a boss too hard to cheese lol

Plot Twist: Nomura Returns With Final Fantasy Versus XV
I always wanted to play this, i still hope these dlcs come to light
To me, the perfect change to the story if they continued with the possibility of versus XIII would be for Noctis’s sleep in the crystal allowing him to see his possible future, and the game should start in the crystal. This way you could have a quick exposition of how the original game ended. Explain how we’d be able to travel to the world of Versus XIII and let us play through the original Romeo and Juliett story, where Noctis isnt the true king, and going through with the DLC will change how the Ring of Lucii works, no longer healing the player but harming the player. This would mean we also wouldnt be able to use the super saiyan ultra armiger mode, which turned the promising Leviathan and Ardyn boss battles into holding the bumper and circle/B.
Without rambling too long about how I’d like this story to play out and in what ways Noctis and the crew would grow as people in that seperate story, it should end with Noctis entering the crystal to rid that world of light, a world worth saving. Then we could get two new canon endings, where Noctis is given the choice to either stay here as the new light dispelling the darkness (whatever that implies), and one where he returns to the main game and changes the ending, since he now knows of Ardyn’s past. They could either have the player kill Ardyn out of sympathy instead of hatred, allowing him to live in peace as he wanted and possibly let Noctis tell the world of his past or something, and the player would feel more satisfied with his death (since Noctis’s hatred of Ardyn didnt really resonate with folks, especially since the DLC had him painted as a man fated for corruption) or have it end like the other Fabula Nova games, man vs god, let us kill Bahamut, the man who sealed Ardyn’s destiny as a villain, this time without the Ring of Lucii, but with our party, and maybe Ardyn, Aranea, and Cor. If Noctis were to explain his journey in XIII Versus to Ardyn over the course of the new chapter 14, and atone for the sins of his family, it wouldnt feel out of character for him to help kill Bahamut and possibly live eternally in solace like Vincent in FF7, and killing the gods who held down everyone, and since we dont have the Ring of Lucii anymore, it feels like we’re actually killing these threats of our own mettle, rather than the game holding our hand through an on the rails shooter.
Im not writer, i just want a more satisfying ending, like Ignis’s second ending, and I want it cemented as canon, something that people who didnt like the original story and didnt play up to the third DLC can come back to and rethink their opinions on the game.
A 15-25 hour expansion would recontextualize the entire game

I think Nomura is bringing Versus XIII back silently. First, DOTF explains that the Versus timeline does in fact exist, but XV couldn't bring it to fruition, however, we do know that XV has Versus assets still left in the files. Next, Dissidia NT received Versus content, which is strange because Nomura was still not allowed to speak about Versus. Lastly, Nomura has his "small" homage to Versus and the FNC.

I honestly enjoyed FF15 both on release and the when it was finally released on PC, I would have loved to play the "second season" of dlc if it had come about but since thats never gonna happen ill just have to be happy with what I got.

xv had the content to actually be something phenomenal. when you read the cut lines + details found by data miners, it's almost amazing how they missed so many notes that could of leveled the entire story to TLOU status in gaming history. This game was horribly fucking slandered by the devs but beloved and held in adoration by the fans that see the masterpiece it could've been. :/ Shits sad.
Hajime Tábata and his team only have 3 years to make the game and the story was already finished when trailers come out , they have so much problem with the luminous engine that was in development..

To give Tabata credit where credit is due, as a business man and a guy who was thrown onto a project last minute (pretty much), he didn't do too bad. It's just unfortunate that a lot of things they had set in place didn't work out, especially on the graphics/ game developers side of things.

While it's impossible to compare a game that never existed. The real problem with FFXV is how much the game we got differed from the endless previews that got us excited. If it weren't for the previews we truly all would have been happier
I knew it, I had speculated that the original Versus XIII trailer was like a dream sequence, I thought it was but wasn't at the same time, I felt it was like a dream to Noctis but it was actually this alternate World that was tied to the main World of Final Fantasy XV, I felt like it would eventually go down a Yozora path, maybe the two Noctis' would have a disagreement or something and fight, perhaps with neither of them coming out on top.

Is it possible that verem rex is noctus dream as noctus is seeing into other possibilities especially with the star in Kingdom hearts III that you can speak to . And is it possible that sense in an old interview when nomura said sora and noctus are brothers.
I remember well the ambition that ffxiii vs was, and watched it change far from what was conceived. I am satisfied with ffxv, but can't help but wonder what we would have been given. I really would have loved to witness the conflict and romance between Noctis, and Luna. Also, the invasion of Insomnia as you mentioned. I do hope Verum Rex happens, and can revive ffxiii vs with its original scope, and ambition.

I would love to see Final Fantasy go back to a traditional turn-based system. FFX to me was perfect in it's execution of the system. JRPG games to me have always been about strategy and thinking 2 steps ahead.
I'm so lucky I only finished this game a few days ago so I'm still fresh for this book
