I definitely remember Versus XIII before it was renamed to XV and watching all the trailers from E3 2006 to 2011, you did such a very great job making this video.
This is the reason why they should put someone to keep Nomura in check and give direction to the project , the man has amazing ideas for both gameplay and story but never develops them to their full potential if someone good codirects with him they would make the most legendary game ever

@@Ratorss to be fair its not impossible to deny it, squares always been rather weird when it comes to things like sales. perhaps thats the reason they turned 13 into a trilogy. they may have wanted to make 13 into this gigantic game to compensate fopr the fact versus wasnt going anywhere
I do feel that a lot of developers have been keeping their cards closer to there chests before showing of games these days! I still remember picking up 15 and waiting for that mission that was showcased when it was revealed as 15 and got real dissapointed it never happened😂 but its mad how well the game turned out with all the mess going on in the background of it!

So the higher-ups kind of self-sabotage versus 13 because verses 13 was well received by audience and critics to like everybody couldn't wait to play that game and instead of giving us that game you gave us two sequels to final fantasy 13 that nobody asks for at all put all that time it up for into final fantasy 13 purposely delayed Kingdom hearts 3 to the point where to see you tomorrow had to walk away from the project and you approved whatever the nonsense that was 15 and 15 wasn't even finished That's the thing 15 ain't even finished to this day diagrams are really a bit at this point he seems like that's the reason why square enix haven't been able to get on for a couple of years because they keep making dumb ideas or to keep these higher-ups keep doing dumb decisions
Well when they made their own engine, which did look nice at the time, that pretty much set the delays and problems for FF13 and Versus 13's development..
I don't know who this "Eeeto" is, but if you're referring to Etro, then that's just bad. Might be minor, but it's such a major talking point about Versus XIII's story that getting it wrong is very silly.

Final fantasy versus xiii had great potential to be one of best Final fantasy games I wish that tetsuya nomura would tells the original story one day

This is an example of Creativity and vision alone doesn't guarantee you success. Sense of direction is very important.

Whole I don't disagree, it not entirely true. Look at FFXV , even in royal edition the story still missing direction at points.

It wasn't an accident that all that Insomnia gameplay became a movie. The PS4 couldn't handle it. It couldn't even handle FF15.

Yea even if i got my criticisms of 15, the fact it came out even semi playable considering the mess leading up to its creation was a thing of beauty
