Ever look into using the Speedohealer that goes with it from the Heal tech company? When I got my wiring harness yesterday I noticed that it wants to plug into the same speed sensor. You foresee any issues in doubling up the connection down there?

No I dont think there are any issues, if memory serves correctly (but please double check with Healtech), you can daisy chain the connectors - one into the next into the next etc

On my Fz8 doesn’t have that speed sensor plug, so I just attached to the rear abs module plug, but after I star the bike and leave it on idle to reach the optimal ideal speed, after that still cant get after first gear, it’s just blinking slowly, I kept between 3,4k rpm but nothing happens after a minute soo even… :/

Looking at the Healtech site, it says your bike uses the GPX-U01 Harness Kit. This is different to my bike so the wiring is different. Did you test moving the rear tyre by hand (engine off/ignition on) to test that it is wired in correctly?

@@bikesandbits1000 Yes, when I unplug it and spin the tire on ignition, it’s showing “0” when I plug it back and doing the same, it works just fine.
When I checked on the instructions paper, from the GPX-U01, harness kit, it’s say that some of the bikes reading the speed from the abs module, what is correct, but still I don’t understand why my gear indicator doesn’t want read the second shift…

Make sure you check the electrical connections to ensure that are contacting. Does the Gear Indicator power up at all?

I have a 2009 model and I didn't found this white plug in my bike :(
Acc to the description on the box, indicator which I bought should fit 2009 model .. do you have any idea if Yamaha changed the wiring or plugin types in model 2009 ?
Thanks in advance for any tips and suggestions.

@@trusteemedia No, the 2009 was very similar to the 07 & 08 models. I think they changed the seat but wiring was pretty much the same. Is there a plug perhaps in a different colour that looks the same?

I figured it out already. I guess I don't have those plugs because my bike is with ABS. I think I need to find a different set.

@@trusteemedia Yea FZ6 with abs does not have that 3 pin plug to "speed sensor" so... you get signal from abs (white/yellow), rest are the same so power supply & crankshaft sensor.
