- Today I installed the "Healtech GIPro ATRE G2". I had quite a bit of fun building that custom bracket.
I actually uploaded this a couple months ago, I just forgot to publish it hahaha.

I 'm here because I'm installing the Idea gear display which only cost me 50 bucks and does essentially the same things. I applaud your resourcefulness in fabrication and by now I'm sure you have managed to polish the bracket and reroute the wire behind the instrument cluster. Good job!

@3.50 - Connect the gipro power wire to the rear brake light switch wire above the footrest. Plenty enough length on the wire to do the job 👍.
On my GSXR-600 there’s a cluster of wires behind the fairings on the left side before the headlight. So the wire you need is indeed very close to where the plug is.

I've bought this cheap gear indicator, and i am wondering where the white signal wire goes? To the blue or the pink wire?

Dude I hope you have learnt to solder by now because that solder job there was puss.
If not, try heating the iron, then melt a dab on the tip of the iron, hold the tip with the dab under the wire allowing it to heat the wiring while holding your soldering wire on top of the wire, when the wires heats up enough it will melt the solder real fast and just disappear into the copper, only hold it there for a second or 2 when it starts melting because it will run up the wiring making it unable to flex anymore.

Don't get ripped off buying crazy over priced Healtech brand ... they're exact same unit as sold on Aliexpress for less than £20 UK pounds.
Why bother? Can't you ride?
I was doing a track day last week on my Ducati, coming from my GSXR 1k. I loved getting a pattern down and knowing what gear I was in for the corner, versus just guessing. I dont have to guess on the bike with the indicator, I do have to guess at full speed on the Ducati!
