Features is the only thing which is making it a tie breaker. I.e. features plus interior and looks. But when we look at XUV than build quality, space and more powerful engine is in its favour. Confusing.

I still believe Ford Ecosport even today is unbeatable in terms of its butch yet beautiful looks and driving dynamics.
but somehow it is like safari of sub 4 meter good in driving but feels old
I bought titanium plus automatic because sonet doesnt stand anywhere in front of Ecosport.
@@sarwarparihar it might be the old boy in this segment but still gives a run for its money even today. Ford has really hit a bullseye in the sub-4 meter and remember they're the pioneers too in this segment. I almost went for Hyundai Venue but was so confused after the reviews and blindly decided to take a plunge at ES coz I knew that car can never go wrong and it was the best decision I took.

The one that I have driven the same at diesel sonet just a few hours ago had a very good suspension and I didn't hear any kind of suspension noises I have tested it with ac and music off and tested on bad roads I think the car you have driven might have an issue

Sir, whether this VGT on Diesel Automatic has any real benefits as compared to Diesel Manual on Sonet (since the rev. range for torque is same for both i.e. 1500 RPM to 2750 RPM)???

We took test drive of the same model at bangalore with visibly more road traffic. Drove it in quite bad patches too. Our experience not this bad sound and ride quality wise.. Looks like the reviewer has personal disliking of the car. Rear seat space and not having 60:40 are negative points for sure especially if you are planning cross country/state trips. Looing at the comments - It feels like video is to cater to users of other brands to increase views/shares.
P.S :- I am currently a Tata owner looking to change.

Someone proposed urban uv and i think that has a nice ring to it.
Used to call it "lifted minis" when ecosport was launched. This sonnet is fine when u are sitting in the front. Rear is for kids like the third rows of most cars. In all the chotu cars I think Ecosport is better but if u want a little more space and a good ride with some performance also without the shinny features then it's the duster.

What does it take to patch a Torque converter AT on to the Ecosport diesel for ford? It will still have takers. If the pricing exceeds above 13lakhs for the diesel automatic (sonet), then its better to opt for an XUV500 instead.

Hi, can you please comment on whether one should buy Sonet 2021 HTX Diesel AT or Petrol DCT? I can see there is only 30k difference. Regular run is 30km on a daily basis + plus couple of short trips over weekend. I'm in Ahmedabad and the price of Diesel and Petrol is approx 88 rs per litre.
Get the diesel, in real world torque is accessible. Diesel is Torque Converter which is more reliable than DCT, 1.5 4 cylinder engine, bigger displacement than Petrol, specifically 4 cylinders over 3 cylinders. Better mileage.
Sir, Kia Sonet Petrol HTX or Sonet HTK+ disesel considering both will have almost same pricing, my driving is 800 km per month?

Hi FH , How is ride quality comparing to benchmark Nexon ?
So the ride quality is overall worse than the Venue's. No point looking at the extra features on offer if the ride quality isn't good enough. Also, I personally feel the dashboard looks cluttered. Everything is too squeezed in and it feels overdone. The only thing that makes this car an attractive buy is the top trim Diesel AT.
Kia are making feature loaded toys to lure young buyers, nothing special is there in the Driving Dynamics which is pathetic!!

I also feel the dashboard Design awkward and the KIA is just making some toys which is just filled with features. They don't offer good ride quality, the rear seat space is a disaster. And for the enthusiasts, the stearing is just dead like the Hyundai cars which doesn't offer any feel or feedback. A good salesman can trick someone who doesn't have much knowledge about cars can make him buy this by saying sir it's got this and that.
If you want ride quality then blindly go for Duster... it's a legend in terms of ride quality &dynamics !!!
@@rahulan5026 Funny thing is that people who are willing to buy this car based on the features on offer will not use these same fancy features after driving the car for 2 months. I mean who the hell is still gonna keep saying 'Hello Kia. Pull down the driver's side window.' after sometime. Everyone will be using the buttons eventually 😂 All that will matter after a couple of months is the ride quality and the engine performance and as per Faisal's feedback and the in-cabin noise in the video while the car is going over bumps the ride quality seems to be a let down. I think the stiffer suspension on offer is to counter the body roll due to the increased ground clearance when compared to the Venue. Venue's ride quality is actually acceptable.

What about the Indian summer heat and the coastal rains ? The AC performance goes fr a toss when we open it.Last but not the least any repairs for the sunroof may cost you 1.5 lac approx as the whole roof needs to be changed in case of flaw !

Honestly speaking we only use half of the features of a car or a smartphone. Others are just gimmicks . But things like ventilated seats , automatically dimming mirrors are welcome while cruise control is not of much use (at least for normal daily short drives) as most of our roads are short and curvy.

Sir..my monthly running is around 500 kms; should I be going for HTX 1.5 diesel instead of 1.0 Turbo IMT, especially when both are in same price range, while the 1.5 diesel should be more fuel efficient?And, If yes upon vehicle staying idle for say 15-20 continual days, would it cause starting problem/maintained issue afterwards??
