@Mesemerize Joy speaking about 3 cylinder engines. Don't forget Ford Figo and Freestyle both have 3 cylinder engines and are far better than most of their competitors! Ford engines have set an example that for a 1.2L engines 3 cylinders are more than enough sufficient to get a powerful smooth and fun to drive engine. Altroz is just an example of what TATA can achieve with 3 cylinders.
Test drove 3 cars. Altroz i20 and the Polo. Out of these 3 the Altroz is the overall package. Polo handling is good but space is lacking and MPI engine isn't so good ( No doubt TSI is excellent but doesn't fit my budget) i20 naturally aspirated one is garbage. Apart from refinement altroz naturally aspirated engine is far better. Base model i20 and altroz XT costs the same here in Bangalore. Altroz seems to be a better option now.
It's now sporty in the looks😍. The old 1.4 CRDi engine with 6 gears was a gem😍. Power it offers... Is worth. Even the VTVT was not at all bad but it had less mileage and lack of power compared to the diesel (CRDi). Even though, riding comfort was descent and driving was also smooth. I hope this model will surely succeed because of it's new design , new engine and riding comfort ♥️

It is very expensive for what it offers. One should rather get the Hyundai Venue...Even i20's base model is quite expensive. One should get the Tata Altroz for that price.
Umm venue doesn't have space if you want a roomy cabin great features like bose speakers it makes sense i guess for ex i want every feature plus automatic so then sonet and other cars cost more than this. It is a premium car not a compromised Compact SUV.

Great review. I am on verge of buying this. And in regular Petrol-Diesel dilemma. Don't want my car to be slow/lethargic, so avoided 1.2 Kappa. Finally, shortlisted Diesel Sportz Variant and Asta iMT. Wish Hyundai provided a manual Turbo, but that's not the case. Which one you feel is the best among those two variants? Our usage is approx. 700kms per month and 90% of it is on highways.

I own a 2017 model i20 ACTIVE SX PETROL. The features that were there 2019 model were there, ISOFIX, 6 Airbags. But really a Remarkable car it is . Especially the 190mm Ground Clearance, that is the same Ground Clearance of present HYUNDAI VENUE, A normal Elite had 170mm, but with my I20 ACTIVE , It's easy to go on Rough Roads. More Over, the Mileage is not 17.1kmpl I am Getting, it's 18.5kmpl. based on my Driving Style, I used to say this CARS NEVER GIVE MILEAGE, ITS THE DRIVER WHO CREATES IT .... What I had done to increase the MILEAGE is : 1. Increase Tyre Pressur to 38PSI 2. Clean the AirFilter once in 2 weeks 3. Check the Spark Plugs 4. Drive less than 1500rpm. Infact the car Reaches 60kmh under 1500rpm. Which is good 5. AC as it's Required that too at 24° celcius 6. Finally my Trump Car, NEUTRAL, on straight Roads, which increases the Range...

Was eagerly waiting for this vlog. Looks different from the previous one but the price is not justified. You can buy the most of the compact suvs or a mid-size sedan for that price.
2 months later, Hyundai is reported to bring in their N and N-line of cars. The suspension would be stiffened up, a new exhaust, a sporty body kit, turbo 1.6 for the full blown N while N-line would do with this 1.0 turbo. This should be exciting
I will definitely go for Altroz only, don't know but didn't like new i20 it's not bad but altroz is VFM. And for those rear 2 parking sensors even maruti alto get 4 sensors 🤣 don't know why they did this cost cutting.
buddy even if they have provided only 2 sensors they do have some common sense to have tweaked it's range or sensitivity to make up for other 2 sensors! hyundai guys are not fool! i have test driven this car and it works perfectly! I didn't even noticed that it had only 2 sensors!!

Regardless of the review! Its so much more satisfying that people in India are giving Safety a priority and shifting towards A much safer Tata or Mahindra for example rather than going only on looks and trend.
Being a Tiago and a Nexon 2020 owner. Can feel the safety in Tata Cars. Not endorsing Tata by any means.

I own a 2017 model i20 ACTIVE SX PETROL. The features that were there 2019 model were there, ISOFIX, 6 Airbags. But really a Remarkable car it is . Especially the 190mm Ground Clearance, that is the same Ground Clearance of present HYUNDAI VENUE, A normal Elite had 170mm, but with my I20 ACTIVE , It's easy to go on Rough Roads.
More Over, the Mileage is not 17.1kmpl I am Getting, it's 18.5kmpl. based on my Driving Style, I used to say this CARS NEVER GIVE MILEAGE, ITS THE DRIVER WHO CREATES IT ....
What I had done to increase the MILEAGE is :
1. Increase Tyre Pressur to 38PSI
2. Clean the AirFilter once in 2 weeks
3. Check the Spark Plugs
4. Drive less than 1500rpm. Infact the car Reaches 60kmh under 1500rpm. Which is good
5. AC as it's Required that too at 24° celcius
6. Finally my Trump Car, NEUTRAL, on straight Roads, which increases the Range...
Will prefer 5th gen honda City V in 13 lacs instead of this 2 star overpriced hatchback..

Was eagerly waiting for this vlog. Looks different from the previous one but the price is not justified. You can buy the most of the compact suvs or a mid-size sedan for that price.
2 months later, Hyundai is reported to bring in their N and N-line of cars.
The suspension would be stiffened up, a new exhaust, a sporty body kit, turbo 1.6 for the full blown N while N-line would do with this 1.0 turbo.

But last year my Aunt faced a major accident in her XUV 300 , but shockingly she is no more . Nobody knows when and how a accident will happen . Yes , in a safe car there will be some possibilities to survive . So , drive safe and carefully and always wear your seat belt . Bye .
